I'm guessing the Mormans didn't let Kat and Pickle have off today. Poor them.

THE CHAPTER YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR: When Broken Is Easily Fixed
(Silverstein)

Gerard stepped forward, but Asuka had held her hand forth, motion him to stop. He watched as Asuka and Gwenivere stared each other down. Asuka broke the silence. "You didn't give me such a nice welcome last time sis," she smirked.

"Let's say I had to put on a show for your new boyfriend," Gwenivere remarked. "Let's cut to the chase shall we?"


"Let's," Asuka said getting into her fighting stance. Gwenivere let out a chuckle.

"Daddy always said you were the weak one,"

"Leave him out of this"

"Alright then, let's get this show on the road!" Gwenivere yelled as she pulled off her cape. She was wearing her general's uniform. It was a deep crimson. The badges shown off of her blazer and she put the cap on her wavy hair. She entered her fighting stance as well.

I can resist everything except temptation.
My body breaks, but I am still intact inside.
My human instinct, I can love unconditionally.​

Asuka leaped high into mid air, putting all her weight into her foot. Gwenivere had crossed her arms and Asuka's kick was repelled. As she landed, Gwenivere had thrown a kick of her own across her knees. Asuka fell backwards, but pulled off a handspring to catch herself. Gwenivere had charged once again, throwing all of her strength into her fist. Asuka was punched straight into her stomach. She staggered back and had regained her footing once more.

Cross my heart and lie to you
(My conscience plagues at me, fills me with this despair) Failure within me.
Promise you and let you down
(Emotion conquers my soul, robs me of myself) Brings me to my knees.
Follow me, lead you astray
(Nourish myself with fear, give me the pain to fail) Loathe myself to sleep.
Your words kill me.​

Asuka ran towards Gwenivere with a punch, but Gwenivere had caught the punch in her palm. She pulled Asuka towards her, flinging her behind her back, and flipping her over. Asuka fell on her back, but swung her legs, kicking Gwenivere in the back of her knees as she used the momentum to stand up again. Gwenivere hopped up and threw a punch at Asuka, knocking her straight to the face.

You can breathe without oxygen and live without sorrow.
How I envy you, though pity your ghost.
Ignorance is bliss I wish I could never love you.​

Asuka fell backwards. Tears fell from her face from the pain. The pain didn't come from the punches she had taken. Not from the physical damage she was suffering. The tears were there because she's fighting someone she once loved. Someone she looked up to. Someone she grew up with. Gwenivere walked up to her and pulled her up by the hair. "This scene seems familiar doesn't it sis?" Gwenivere smirked. "This time, there's no Dax. He won't be here to interfere now, will he?"

"Shut up! Leave him out of this!" Asuka yelled.

Gwenivere reached down and grabbed Asuka's arm. She let go of her hair and held Asuka up by her arm. Asuka was crying. Her tears fell to the ground as her sister had held it up higher. Gwenivere clenched Asuka's arm tightly. Her fingers dug into Asuka's arm. Asuka screamed in pain. Electric sparks flew out of Asuka's arm, along with some metal shards and gears. Gwenivere pulled Asuka's arm off, reavealing that it was made of metal. "You freak. You only lived because of him. This arm, even your heart is made of metal!" Gwenivere laughed.

"Please... Stop..." Asuka cried as she knelt on the ground. Gerard's heart had dropped. A heart of metal? he asked himself.

"Why should I? It's his fault you're in pain! He gave you a heart. He worked to death building you heart. And for what? Nothing!" Gwenivere laughed once more, throwing back the lifeless metal arm back at her crying sister.

"No... You're wrong..." Asuka cried quietly. "He gave me a heart... So I could love! Even if it wasn't him!" she yelled.

So ironic that a heart made by man, when broken is easily fixed.
But a human hurt can last a lifetime.​

Asuka reattached the arm and got up. She threw a flurry of punches towards Gwenivere, who took every hit. Gwenivere was on her last leg. She pulled out a gun from her holster. She held it up towards Asuka. Asuka paused. Gwenivere pulled the trigger. The sound of the bullet engulfed the whole group, as it struck Asuka. Asuka smirked as she pulled the bullet out of her arm.

With all of her strength, Asuka threw one last punch towards Gwenivere. She was knocked to the floor and seemed unconcious. She took a deep breath and smiled at the speechless four behind her.

GoH, this is the chapter that made me cry.

The Chapter That Made Me Cry: Discovering The Waterfront (Silverstein)

Asuka nodded at Gerard, who once again held up his sword and cut the Lunacy Fringe into pieces. They fell to the ground and the triplets had smashed them into even smaller pieces. The machine was reduced to rubble. They snuck back into the air vents and had escaped the palace quickly.

A week later...

"You ready?" Asuka asked Gerard. He smiled back at her and nodded. He got into the queens chair in front of the desk and Asuka started pressing keys on the keyboard in front of him. The monitor displayed various figures and charts. A screen had appeared and Gerard brightened up.

"Hi there," Tatsuki smiled. "How's everything going?"

"Alright, let's start from the beginning. I arrived here on the planet and met up with Asuka here on the jungle," Gerard started.

"Asuka's there?"

"Yep," Asuka answered.

"I haven't seen you in so long. We all miss you here on the station," Tatsuki said.

"I knew you guys would miss me,"

"We sure do... Now, Gerard, please continue,"

"Alright," Gerard said, "we had crashed the north's Queen's ball. We found this Lunacy Fringe, which in the end was this robotic battle armor. Anyway, they caught us and we were forced to retreat back to the south. Here, we planned our retaliations. We infiltrated the place once again and destroyed the armor. There. Misison Complete," Gerard said folding his arms with a smirk.

"Someone looks happy. Great job Gerard. We miss you too. Especially, Marielle," Tatsuki joked. Gerard heard Marielle yelling at Tatsuki in the background. Suddenly, Gerard had an idea.

"Err... How did you find out about me again?"

"Surveillance cameras. And our PATRIOTS. Why?"

"Who's the patriot on Spira?"

"It was... Gippal. I think that was his name,"

"Tall, blonde, eyepatch guy?"

"Oh yeah! That's him,"

"Huh... I would have never though of it. Can you establish a link with him?"

"Let's check the camera's to see what he's doing. I'll send a direct feed to you, then you should be able to communicate with the microphone,"

"Alright then," Gerard said. He longed for contact with his home. Especially contact with Rikku. As the loading screen appeared on the monitor, Gerard watched in anticipation. The screen showed static, but as soon as it cleared, he saw Gippal. He walked down the street whistling a tune. He held something behind his back and entered a large building. He ran up the spiral stairs to the very top. Wait. That's my penthouse! he thought.

The door opened. Rikku stood smiling. Gippal handed the roses he hid behind his back the whole time, and Rikku's face had brightened. Gerard smiled at the sight of Rikku's face. But, the smiling wouldn't last long.

I will promise myself I won't care
distracting myself from your stare
and I've seen this mistake once before
with your games I will never fall for
I've hung up my guns
I won't kill again​

Rikku wrapped his arms around Rikku, and she did the same. Gerard felt as if a limb was being tore off his body. Rikku looked up earnestly at Gippal. Gippal moved in closer to her. She closed her eyes and the two kissed.

I won't forget you (I won't forget you)
I'm not gonna let you win (I'm not gonna...)
but I'm tired of lying
tired of fighting you
and it's not gonna change​

Gerard's heart had pounded heavily. His eyes started to tear up. Asuka bit her lower lip. Is that the girl he keeps telling me about? she thought. Gerard's eyes were glued to the screen.

you tear it all apart and beg for me to say
I sail off to sea (I sail off to sea),
I'm not coming back​

Gippal and Rikku were pressing each others lips on each other. Gerard was at the point of crying. Rikku hugged Gippal even tighter and continued on. Gerard grabbed his chest, as if trying to rip out his own heart. Gippal stopped and Rikku leaned her head on his shoulders.

HOLY COW?! WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED?! I CUSSED IN MY BRAIN! A BUNCH! *KILLS GIPPAL AND TORTURES RIKKU* WHAT THE HECK?! I...

I'm speechless. Nearly. I can think of SOME things to say, but they're incredibly terrible.
