I've almost 100%ed KH1 on steam deck and holy shit I can see why so many Switch owners wish they could have ports. I think some of the more demanding postgame fights feel a bit more cumbersome in this 'portable' setting. handhelds these days are large and KH's frequent use of the d-pad isn't friendly to this format, especially during superbosses where active menuing is important.
Holding a controller and looking at a TV/monitor gives me a lot more control, but maybe thats just me-- that's where the cloud saves come in so handy, I can move to my PC for the tough stuff and enjoy the easier synth grind and story fights on the deckie.
Switch 2 absolutely needs KH games (and current gen absolutely needs a KH3 definitive edition to boost that game's rep)
