Sakurai has revealed he's been working on his next game since April 2022 and it should be announced "sooner or later". There is clearly only one sane, sensible, and rational conclusion here: He convinced Square and Disney into letting him develop Mushroom Kingdom Hearts! :p

If only we got that Cars world in KH3, we would have beat Fortnite to this one!

Nothing better than a Kingdom Hearts game that turns all the characters that make the franchise what it is into lifeless, purchasable products used to complete missions for anime characters! I hope we get Riku's iconic reaching out pose from the KH1 intro as a statue! I want to forever dissociate that pose from its original context and use it to wipe out enemies!
