When are we expecting news?

IGN getting the facts wrong as usual saying KH4 is the end of the series.
I see people speculating about him referring to games after KH3 he worked on. That would only be Re:Mind right? He didn’t have any new lines in Melody of Memory, did he?
I always knew HJO would be ass at Kingdom Hearts but it's nice to see him getting killed by Tidus
Is there a transcript of what Haley Joel said about recording remotely? Because we already know he recorded KH3 remotely and he most likely did Re Mind remotely too

Covid only affected Melody of Memory's recording, as we know international recording delayed the release, and Madison Davenport made a post about what it was like recording during COVID
But Haley didn't record for MoM therefore his comments didn't apply to that.
So I do think he was referring to Re Mind and how he records while he travels and his comment is not about recording remotely due to Covid. He obviously doesn't keep tabs on the series, as evident by him not knowing that KH4 was announced 2 and a half years ago, so I wouldn't take his comments on recording games after KH3 to immediately point to KH4, especially since there was that interview 2 months ago where he said something similar.

I did have a dream that we got a Missing-Link trailer. It pretty much only showed off a Disney world that's already been in the series, but I can't remember which one. And it just had the conversation between the scientists at the beginning of the game speaking in English, which is how my brain during sleep realised it was a dream lol

He just says “For Kingdom Hearts 3 and the ones after that,” he was on location in Canada and South Africa. So yeah I don’t think it’s anything new from what he’s previously talked about since both of those locations line up with that 2019 article.
I love Haley and I think he has really good instincts as a voice actor. His Sora deliveries are very strong and he does a great job if making the character feel lived in and dynamic.
But he is not and never will be an accurate source of news lmao. Dude is checked out as it gets when it comes to the actual content of KH and its been that way for a long time. He's a real professional, he shows up, reads well, interprets what he's given, collects his money, and leaves. He's been conflating his experiences working on KH2 and Re:CoM for like, ten years... he's mentioned more than once that Sora went back and time and became younger than he was in KH1, as well... Digging through his interviews for useful info is like digging through my wife's cell phone for evidence of infidelity. We're desperate to find something, but no luck.

Remember, all of the merch is vitally important to understanding the lore so you better buy it all.
If you don't buy merch to help Square recuperate costs after Missing Link goes EoS you aren't allowed to cry over KH4 being canceled.
With Foamstars going free to play due to low sales, I wonder what another big flop will do to Square Enix? Could it be Yozover?

I don’t think they are going to have any more big games this fiscal year (ending March 2025,) so they need these smaller fall releases to do decently well at least. DQIII remake in particular.
Ths time last year, we already knew about several 2024 games. Now we only know about the DQ1&2 remakes which will probably be next fall to give DQ3 plenty of breathing room. But that seems like a pretty huge gap for a company like SE that usually has near monthly releases. I’m sure there will be some smaller stuff like more ports of XVI and Rebirth. But if there are no major new releases for that long, it would be a bad sign.
So when their next AAA release does finally come along, yeah they can’t really afford for it to be a flop. A failure at that point when they will already be down in sales would be rough.
Plus with all their mobile games shutting down and only Missing (In Action) Link on the horizon, they don’t seem to be doing so hot on that front either.
I just hope they aren’t intentionally trimming down their pipeline to make themselves a more attractive sale.
If anyone wants to try and take solace in anything, if KH4 is indeed due out in 2026 then they'd be recording voices throughout 2025.
