I’m thinking more in the context of if something is planned for this month. These games are both under Nomura’s supervision, so they would likely coordinate the timing of the three announcements. As of yesterday, both games’ anniversary details have been announced with Nomura sharing comments or doing interviews. So now the rest of the month is open on the mobile game front if they want to announce something for ML.
RK’s anniversary isn’t technically until the 24th, but they went ahead and announced the details yesterday. So maybe they did that early so it’d be out of the way for an imminent Missing Link update.
The State of Play will likely be next week. Here’s hoping for KH4 and a Missing Link update after.

So no games tomorrow.
I'm a PC gamer, and I don't have a PS5. If KH4 is not released on PC day 1, this will be the model I buy. And then refund it or resell it

I really hope the Pro doesn't drop until next year. October alone already has my wallet in a choke hold.

Someone who claimed the Pro reveal would be tomorrow also said the SoP will be on the 19th focusing on indie/third party games that will make the most of the Pro.

EDIT: Also, this Apple Event reminded me. I’ve had this thought brewing that maybe they are waiting for the new iPhone and Samsung Galaxy to release before releasing Missing Link. If the game doesn’t run well on older phone models, it may benefit them to wait until more people upgrade.

My intuition tells me that KH4's proper re-reveal will be a solo act, and it'll be announced ahead of time. KH is capable of trending on its own and gets more attention when the excitement is built up. If anything, I see more indifference and ridicule for KH when it appears in general conferences and presentations. The KH on Steam trailer fuckin sucked but it kinda broke the internet in the lead-up to its release and the subsequent sales on Steam were CRAZY successful... I really think KH will advertise itself independently of any State of Play or Game Awards
The Oracle of Truth states that a KH4 re-reveal will be announced via a chic tweet by a 21-year old social media intern.
At least there's no doubt it's the PS5 Pro at this point. Wonder how they'll showcase its capabilities. Surely it'll be with Sora traversing Quadratum in crisp 8K

Unless KH4 just runs terribly on the base PS5, there’s no way I’m paying that much for a bit more detail.

Between the crashout of Concord and the unenthused reaction to what is effectively a $700 marginal upgrade with no disk drive, Sony is in their biggest flop era. The general appetite for cinematic, hyper-realistic games is dwindling, and with Switch 2 on the horizon, most developers won't be chasing hyper fidelity.

The Pro in PS5 Pro stands for “professionally swindled out of your money” or “you’re probably not gonna buy this.”
Sony gutting their Japanese game studio to go full-blast on cinematic games with filmesque scores and heavy neoliberal messaging has been hard to watch. It's funny that the last smoldering ember of their Japanese talent pool made their best reviewed game, Astrobot... a game that feels as much like a celebration as it does a eulogy for the Playstation brand.
