When are we expecting news?

I sure hope it still is, though, 5 years after the teasing. The whole "we thought about making Verum Rex, but decided to go with KH4!" thing is so weird because I think everyone assumed the two games would be one and the same - I don't understand what he could mean there if he's not outright trolling

"Verum Rex" is the BBS of the saga that explains what Yozora and Nameless Stars' story is and what happened in Quadratum prior to Sora and co showing up, is the read I always had. It's the Yozora-focused side-story, basically. And it's why the games could've been done in either order.

These early blocked out versions of cutscenes are a delight to see. It's easy to forget how much work and iteration it takes to get to the shiny, fully rendered cut we see in game.

Kind of interesting that it was originally going to be the “709” building rather than “104”. Seems like Nomura probably wanted to differentiate it from TWEWY, but they ended up changing it to match in the end anyways.

It kind of makes sense if you think that the Yozora stuff probably grew in importance more and more as the game went on, which is what I've always suspected from the "Magia and Aegis" thing. 709 is just off-brand Shibuya, but 104 is a "world of death/4".

We got more KH3 leaks before a second KH4 trailer

- Apparently we would have Cars world in KH3. I don't know how they would make the gameplay work. I wonder if that's the reason they left it out or they just didn't had enough time.

- Thank God, they didn't make Yozora another blonde look alike Sora. We already have Roxas and Ventus.

We many never get the true FF Versus 13, so I expect Nomura to go all out in Verum Rex game and recycle most of his ideas. Easily the most interesting thing in this new saga for me.

Cars I guess would've been a mini game racing world. Of course that's every Cars video game (of which there were way too many) so maybe they would've gone for something tied into Cars 2 where there was combat. But Pixar probably would want to distance themselves from that film.

It was pretty much taken off the internet but it resurfaced with the latest leak

I believe it was just a logo found in game files. Speculation in hacking and mod communities went pretty rampant but it never became too big of a deal because no one knew what it was.
