My mood just dropped like a damn fortnite character down onto the island!
i woke and stayed up from 3am to 6am for this…i just want missing link man…
rumours are always to be taken with a grain of salt but sometimes i gotta wonder - why lie?

Lesson people should have learned a billion times: Don't believe some rando on twitter and also don't believe some rando on twitter who expects us to think thier cousin who wears a KH shirt got noticed by some guy working at D23 and was specifically talked to. Also they prolly dont even have a cousin.

I'm going to end up eating crow one day, but I maintain that a. they're not going to put Sora in a game with loads of actual guns, and b. if Disney wanted a Disney Fortnite thing, they'd do that. They wouldn't involve the weird KH thing they barely acknowledge in the best of times.

I was already taking it with a heavy grain of salt since the person had “leaked” some things in the past that turned out not to be true.
That said, it could still be something they reveal later down the line. When they brought out Feige, Filoni, Pete Docter, and Jennifer Lee, it was clear they were focusing on the four major Disney studios all being featured in Fortnite.
A KH in Fortnite announcement will make more sense on its own or in tandem with other KH news. It would also be more fitting to introduce Sora in the game after the Disney and Pixar characters come into play.

Oh don't worry, like I said a few pages back, I'm not even expecting Missing Link to come out this year anymore. And it's safe to assume that there won't be any KH4 news until ML releases.
While Sora’s appearance didn’t happen last night as anticipated(?), this Disney collab they have going on absolutely opens up the possibility for it to occur in the future. Fortnite being a game “with loads of guns” doesn’t matter if they’re putting so many of their characters from the Incredibles and the likes of Maleficent in - especially when Fortnite is a game that’s already primarily for kids?
It’s very probable that a potential future KH collab with Fortnite will be in tandem or bunched up with other KH news they’ll want to announce at a certain time.

I'll accept it when it happens. I'll just be incredibly sceptical of any leak that says it's going to happen.
I don't think we'll ever see, say, Mickey Mouse in the game, for example. I think there's some characters that they wouldn't just implement as a skin, for branding purposes. I feel (purely a personal opinion) that Sora is one of those characters.
So far (correct me if I'm wrong), the collabs have extended to purchased properties and villains. I think once we start seeing Aladdin and Simba, then maybe. But even then... I dunno, I'll believe it when I see it.
Forgetting Kingdom Hearts for a minute, I am genuinely baffled by their decision to have not done a games panel considering they have a massive sleight of games and DLC coming out from now until the end of the year, and then some
