When are we expecting news?

Seems like the next big merch dump is that last week of September/first week of October. Maybe it’ll coincide with something like how we got a lot around the Steam releases.

Watch Missing Link release on 10/4, which was the date I was hoping for as a “blue sky” date for KH4 at the beginning of the year. Lol

In 5 months, all their currently announced games will be released except for the DQ1&2 remakes, DQ12, and KH4. Maybe FFXVI and Rebirth PC if you count those as new releases. At that point, we’ll start feeling the effects of whatever projects they cancelled due to larger gaps between releases. But the silver lining is that marketing will probably shift to whatever the next big AAA release will be.

Josh D’Amaro did actually already confirm gaming would be a big part of the Experiences panel on 8/10 for what it’s worth. But I expect the Fortnite thing will likely be a good chunk of that.

Good call. I’m crossing my fingers for Missing Link, as that should’ve been in our hands by now.

I really don't think they'd randomly jump us at D23 without several weeks of warning. It's been too long since KH4 was seen, they'd want to make sure the fans knew it was going to appear at the event.

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath for any KH4. At most, a verbal update that the game is still in development. Anything more at this point of time would be a bonus.

I just want that damn stupid mobile device game we were "promised" to get a couple months ago.

Right now, there’s also no confirmation of the event being live-streamed either. The 2017 gaming showcase with the Toy Boy Toy Box reveal was live-streamed. If there’s no stream, I think it is less likely to show up.

That said, they could announce a stream closer to the event. In which case, they could tease KH at that point. But they often like these panels to be exclusive to the paying attendees.
