Favorite Game: Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Crisis Core was a great game. The music, the story, the characters, the battles, everything was amazing. It explained the story of how the events of Final Fantasy VII came to be. How Cloud lost his mind, who Zack was, how Sephiroth lost it. It went into detail about Projects S and G, elaborating on SOLDIER and the Wutai War. One of my favorite scenes is when Zack fights Angeal, his former mentor, and shouts at him "Angeal... What happened to honor!" Zack was a very likable character to begin with, while Cloud seemed rather depressing to be around, Zack was full of energy and kindness, not shy, and protected his honor and his dreams. And then there's Genesis. Not so much a villain, but more of an Anti-Hero. At one point he could be considered a villain, but in the beginning he was a hero, and at the end of the day, all he really wanted was to be a hero. And rather than kill him, Zack saves him, revives him, and leaves him. And at the end, Zack died protecting Cloud, stating, "The price of freedom is steep".
Favorite Anti-Hero: Genesis
Genesis was the beginning of all of the problems in Final Fantasy VII. In truth we could say Hollander is, indirectly. After all, Genesis was the villain of Crisis Core, his cells were used to create Weiss and the other Tsviets, villains of Dirge of Cerberus, he's the one who told Sephiroth of his origins, driving him to insanity, and causing the events of both Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children. Above that, he was one of the SOLDIER 1st Class, making him a great fighter. He wasn't truly evil or insane like Sephiroth or Weiss or Kadaj. He just wanted to be a hero, and after Crisis Core, he's discovered by Weiss and Nero, who then take him, and try to convince him to help them, but he turns them down, proceeding to go to sleep in a bubble somewhere beneath Midgar, until his chance to be a hero arises.
And he may very well get his chance at being a hero. He is shown awakening in the secret ending of Dirge of Cerberus. Picking up Weiss and telling him they have work to do, then flying off.
Favorite Battle Scene: Sephiroth vs. Angeal and Genesis
Favorite Music: Truth Behind The Project

Truth Behind The Project is the second song that plays, while all three of them are fighting. I enjoy this battle because of how powerful Genesis and Sephiroth are, their strength being evident, had Angeal not intervened, I would've very much enjoyed seeing who won.
