Whatever happened to Riku's Replica?

Oh, I guess I must have forgotten. Sorry. I havent played CoM is a long time and I remembered him still being there at the end of Sora's story, he helped get to the final boss or beat him or something.

He died during Riku's story.

^ I think that's what throws people off. After Replica Riku helped Sora, he went to confront Riku in Reverse Rebirth mode.
Sora and Riku's stories don't happen simultaneously, Sora's ends first.

Riku killed him in Reverse/Rebirth.
Making him the first character in Kingdom Hearts to actually die.
