In Kingdom Hearts 2 it seems that the organization, is trying to get new hearts by creating Kingdom Hearts.

1.) Why don't they just use the Princesses of Heart to get to Kingdom Hearts?

2.) According to Dream Drop Distance, Nobodies can get new hearts so why would they need Kingdom Hearts?

3.) A little off topic but why is Xehanort after Kingdom Hearts?

4.) Also, it says he needs 13 darknesses and 7 lights to create the x-blade but in BBS he only needed Ven's heart of pure light and Vanitas's of pure darkness, why is that?

1) That was not a true Kingdom Hearts
2) He doesn't want a new heart it was a ploy to have other nobodies join the organization
3) To become all powerful god and make the world a perfect balence between light and dark
4) He was being hasty and didn't do it "The right way" so he made orginazation 13 to become his vessels and eventually the 13 darknesses

The "trying to get new hearts"-bit was always just a ruse and a lie propagated by Xemnas and Xigbar. The Kingdom Hearts Xemnas wanted to create was to increase his own power and eventually use it for the true purpose of the Organization.

1) Ansem SoD already tried that way and it failed. Not to mention that the Organization's true goal wasn't to get the true Kingdom Hearts at all as we now learned in DDD.

2) Again, as above said, that Kingdom Hearts wasn't assembled to give the Nobodies new hearts, Xemnas simply lied about that.

3) Xehanort wants to become a god by destroying the whole universe and remake it as he sees fit, in essence ruling over all life. In his younger years he had some stuff about "balancing out" light and darkness but by now he's just a twisted manic greedy for power.

4) It was not that he needed only Ven's heart of light and Vanitas' heart of darkness. He hoped that he could forge the X-blade with just one light and one dark heart as substitutes, he hoped that would be enough but it wasn't. Or in short: Xehanort made a miscalculation due to him being too hasty and too greedy. He even admits to Mickey that he made a mistake by thinking he could forge the X-blade in another way.

2.) According to Dream Drop Distance, Nobodies can get new hearts so why would they need Kingdom Hearts?

The Organization was founded to create 13 vessels so Xemnas can put pieces of Xahenort heart inside of them. But the Nobodys began to grow their own hearts(but they didn't realize it) so Xemnas couldn't put pieces of Xahenort heart inside of them. To counter this he decided to create a man made Kingdom hearts to strip them of their new found hearts(and to give him god-like power or whatever).

This whole plane failed because
A. Traitors(Marluxia, Larxene, Axel, Siax)
B. Their numbers being cut down cause of the slaughter of the CO team
C. The delay of useable Keyblade wielders.
D. Sora

3.) A little off topic but why is Xehanort after Kingdom Hearts?

To create a balance between (The original)light and darkness.

4.) Also, it says he needs 13 darknesses and 7 lights to create the x-blade but in BBS he only needed Ven's heart of pure light and Vanitas's of pure darkness, why is that?

The situation with Ven and Vanitas was the alternative way.

1) The Kingdom Hearts in the first game is described as the heart of all worlds. Further, since the door to the Realm of Darkness was sealed, that method may simply no longer be viable. The Organization was specifically trying to create their own Kingdom Hearts made from the gathered hearts of many people, so they could use its power to become whole.

DDD revealed that Xemnas was misleading the Organization, so what exactly he intended to do with it I'm not sure - there's some implication that Kingdom Hearts is needed in order to transfer hearts from one being to another, as Master Xehanort didn't transfer his heart to Terra until Kingdom Hearts had appeared.

Building a Kingdom Hearts might have been necessary in order to start transferring pieces of Xehanort's heart into the Organization members. Or it was a source of power. Or a means to keep the Organization under control (see #2).

2) The Organization didn't know about their ability to grow new hearts. Xemnas deceived them and told them they needed Kingdom Hearts to be complete.

3) Master Xehanort wants absolute knowledge and the power to remake the universe, and believes obtaining Kingdom Hearts will allow him to do this. This rumor was what ignited the original Keyblade War.

4) In DDD, Xehanort reveals that he tried to form the X-Blade with one heart of light and darkness each, and the resulting X-Blade was unstable and failed. Xehanort admits that he was hasty and simply took advantage of an opportunity - the entire Ventus/Vanitas clash was essentially an experiment to see if he could accomplish his goal quicker.

One more thing, when Master Xehanort was revived after Xemnas and Ansem SoD were killed, why does he look like old Master Xehanort and not Ansem the Wise's apprentice Terra-Xehanort because isn't that the form he was in when he lost his heart and became a Heartless and Nobody. And in BBS why did Xehanort tell Maleficent a bout the seven princesses and why as he after them?

- Master Xehanort: Yen Sid said something along the lines of "Since Xehanort's Nobody and Heartless have been destroyed, Xehanort will return"... The Master Xehanort that shows up in DDD however isn't the Terranort/Apprentice Xehanort that we remember creating those heartless...

Here's where a bit of the confusion comes into play, The Master Xehanort in DDD isn't from the past like many of the other Xehanorts, he is either from the present or near future... Which means that Terra is back as well, and that Xehanort has left his refuge in Terra's body

- NeoTerranort: Yeah, Terra has obviously come back but why is he still under Xehanort's control if Xehanort left his body? Remember how Xemnas grew a heart? That heart he grew was a pretty strong 'nortified heart. When Terranort's Heartless and Nobody were defeated, all of the components of both fused back together... At this point we have a "NeoTerranort" the difference being the addition of Xemnas's heart... With Xemnas's heart in place, Xehanort could leave Terra's body while still controlling him

This is because in Xehanort's view, Maleficent can be used to further his plans... Also, thanks Hillboy :)

Was he trying to get Maleficent to find the princesses for him so he could set up his whole scheme in KH1?

I doubt he was able to think that far ahead considering his plan was about making Ven and Van fight each other. Unless he was told by his future self to set it up.

I believe he was. He mentions that using Ventus and Vanitas was an opportunity he seized, so his ultimate plan was probably to organize a clash between the 7 warriors of light and the 13 darknesses from the beginning. Therefore, he would have had to endanger the princesses in some way in order to draw out the 7 lights. Maleficent filled that role perfectly.

y do people go ahead and make this assumption that MX isn't the MX from the past but he HAS to be from the present/future???

he can easily be in the past because he said he and the other Xehanort's were going back to their own time...

besides even if MX is not from the past he can still be from the future so Apprentice Xehanort still exists in the present.

Unless the translations were wrong, YMX points to the chair where MX was being summoned and states "the latest(not "oldest") of my incarnations is appearing there now".

There, I fixed your post. It no longer looks like crap, and can now be taken seriously!
