Toon Link is the perfection of the silent protagonist. He may not talk but he is just so darn expressive that you know exactly what he's thinking at any given moment:

That folks, is the purest of pure bois. A pity Nintendo can't seem to follow it up with the subsequent Links. BotW's Link is particularly frustrating at times with how blank-faced stoic he is.

The first one that comes to mind is Adam Jensen from Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided games. He's a stoic cyborg who fights against the tyranny of international conspirators that are manipulating the future of humanity. I love how in Mankind Divided he distanced himself from the past, and how he shows no sentiments about his ex-girlfriend. He is a person who has the capacity to move on.
