Didn't like Menas voice acting at all. So monotone and boring and she made Aerith seem kinda.. emotionless.. Wanted to mute the sound everytime she was talking :/
Mandy did a better job. She sounded a bit too old perhaps, but it just seemed like she put a lot more effort to it and more emotions.

Mandy somewhat did an unsurprising job, she kinda just fit what I thought Aerith would sound. Mena did the same with Advent Children, I didn't see that big a difference...but KH2 good god it was so robotic it scared me.
She had a great voice but her monotone and boring voice just ddin't appeal. She seemed alright but the acting could of been better to where it was belieavable and that's just my opinion on the matter.
Well her role in KH2 didn't really affect the story. But in KH1, she explained the story of the heartless and keyblade to Donald and Goofy. So yea....
