Somewhere under SOTW to showcase AOTW.
Like you said, a place for authors to collaborate.
A specific place for editorials (assuming any get written ever again) on the main site.
I agree with the family friendly bit, but more I agree to the way that things used to be run; that's for the staff section, though.
Someplace to showcase art and writing on the main site, on a sidebar.
Character limits for posts to be brought back. Maybe, say, five. Not much, but more than just 'quote'.
