What do you think the name "Dream Drop Distance" means?

I think there's a similar thread, but I couldn't find it. This is my 'theory' on what it means:

Dream- Part of the game is implied to be a simulation of some sort.

Drop- The Drop Gauge most likely forces you to switch between Sora and Riku. I think that when it goes all the way down, you have to drop everything you're doing as one character and then switch to the other.

Distance- How far will they go for each other?
