when i was playing kh2 for the 3rd time in proud mode. i reached the part were the 3 fairies witnessed maleficent's rebirth. at first they were not sure what they were looking, but as they remembered that it was maleficents cloak in the ground, it started to materialize as maleficent itself. one fairy even said quickly that they shouldn't remember maleficent's name....or else something might happen. well, i think that "what would happen" is that maleficent will come back if THEIR MEMORIES of maleficent comes back too...

i think this could be a clue to the meaning of the phrase "BIRTH by SLEEP" and
"MEMORY of XEHANORT". im guessing that in kh3, someone would remember xehanort as he was before in the past.( keyblade war times) and that would make the presently DEAD xehanort to come back alive in sora's time. and because xehanort from the past is in the present, he'd bring with him the chaos i his time, which is the keyblade war into the present.

so i think that will be the conflict in kh3,..... dont flame please

Never thought of it that way. I always thought "birth by sleep" meant something was born when Sora was sleeping. And the "memory of xehanort", I thought he lost his memory, I never thought someone would forget him. Good theory though.

i'd also like to point out something about "BIRTH by SLEEP". it can mean literal things like the birth of roxas while sora is asleep or a birth of a new enemy by rest, but to me, in relevance to my theory, i believe it means that "THE RE-BIRTH OF XEHANORT BY BEING DEAD" he is reborn from the dead because the memories of people who knew him brought him back to existence.

and in this case, remember scar's ghost in the pridelands 2nd visit?, what if it came back because simba couldn't get rid of his memories of scar? the journal even says that the GHOST could be a sign of more evil to come!

what if xehanort is re-born as a ghost of the past in the present time. could GHOSTS be the THIRD ENEMY?

Hmm...maybe. Most of the "BIRTH BY SLEEP" theories have some sort of connection of Roxas being born while Sora was sleeping, but, yeah, I was thinking somewhere along the same lines. If the person's memory isnt forgotten, then maybe they can live on, but only as a memory.

1. The nobodies are the third enemy.
2. Yeah the new enemies would be called "The Forgotten" with function similar to the heartless, but very different.
3. The heartless was the "evil to come"
