Was just checking out the Seasalt ice cream article here on KHI..

I was checking out the one 2007 KHI article on here that had the recipe for seasalt ice cream, which had a huge amount of replies and many were saying they were either going to try making it asap or had plans to. I'm just curious, did anyone actually get around to trying to make it, and if so how was it?

I made it... almost killed myself cos half of the bag of salt fell in... aside from that, it was great!

I'm going to have to try making it myself one of these days. I saw on the web last night at least one photo of a japanese Disney licensed container of seasalt ice cream, at this rate they should slap a KH label on it and start marketing it over here, lol. I wonder if oriental imported food stores might carry it?

Ha that and the paopu cookies. I guess I'll have to try it this summer.
