Wow, now that i look at the line up, I'm definitely not going. It's funny, the bands that i would go to see, you've probably never heard of.

I know most mainstream, Viewer's Choice rock is somewhat too poppy and crappy, but to bash the mighty Warped Tour as a whole is pathedic. Come on.

^'the mighty warped tour'? I'm not bashing it, it's a good venue, but i'm bashing the bands on the venue. They could get more underground bands to tour with them... which was the orginal point of the warped tour....

In the later years they did, they let my chemical romance tour with them and the used started out with them. It's just most of the bands they got and put out there, became popular and mainstream.

^You are missing he point, look at the list of bands, most of them, are underground and aren't local. They are popular, they are mainstream. I understand you need one or two mainstream bands, to get a crowd, but damn, 20+ mainstream bands? Do you really need 20 of them?

well, they become mainstream when people like them. I'm sure it isn't the bands fault that people love them, nor do I think they mind.

^You are still missing the f-ing point. The warped tour was meant to have FEW mainstream bands, and ALOT of underground bands. Right now, like last year, it's looking the other way around. Instead of supplying a good venue for the local bands, who hope to become mainstream, they are just buying the mainstream bands.

That's not true, alot of the bands from Dallas, perform at Warped tour when it comes around, they only peform for the ones in Dallas though.

I'm going in Houston, and I can barely wait. Yeah, I think last year's bands were better, but still it's going to be pretty awesome.

Though I don't like many of those bands, I've been to the Warped Tour four years in a row, so far, and I don't plan on missing my fifth :3 Very sad MC Chris won't be in Boston, though. ;_;
