Well now, looks like the balld is rolling. Of coursethey'd end the episode where they did.

This is the second time the add was fixated on Hyrdra, with how Agnes and Herb were acting i wasn't sure, if they were hydra agents talking about what was happening. Until i saw just how scared and unsure they looked. The episode implies most people we've seen are actual citizens of the town.

Also it seems Wanda might not be as blameless as I had hoped, she's actively rejecting reality. In the last episodes it seemed she was just as much under the spell, but in this episode it seemed like she was the one driving it

It’s definitely becoming more clear that bad things happen to people who start pushing against Wanda’s perfect reality. Mr. Hart choked. Dottie cut her hand on the glass. “Geraldine” got yeeted. So to some extent, Wanda is aware of what’s happening and is trying to preserve it.

While I want to assume these townspeople are real people trapped in the illusion, it almost sounded like they might be dead. I’m hesitant to think they’d go that dark, but Herb sounded like he was about to say either “we’re all trapped” or possibly “we’re all dead.” He also tells Vision he’ll catch him in the flip side which could be alluding to the afterlife if he’s aware they’re both dead in reality. What if the town is populated by people who Wanda feels responsible for their deaths or something like Vision, people from Sokovia and Lagos, etc.? Probably unlikely, but an interesting thought.

So I did think that they could all be dead and Wanda somehow found a way to visit Vision in the "afterlife". This episode is making me believe it more now, given the way the two neighbors were acting. But there's also this control over the events - whenever Vision becomes aware or suspects something is off, it's redone where he is oblivious.

The only thing that makes me think it's some sort of simulated reality instead of the afterlife is the fact that Geraldine had some sort of pendant and was "thrown" out of the reality and back into the real world. The way the neighbors talk about Geraldine makes me think that she is NOT associated with them, and were trying to get Vision to be suspicious of her too. So it seems like there's 3 parties involved here: Wanda/Vision, whoever Geraldine works for, and the neighbors (Mephisto/some other entity).

I still think that Mojo is playing with Wanda's mind though. I think that would be a really out-there twist.

Also, the fencing used in the base where Geraldine was thrown reminds me of the psychic wall thing in The New Mutants. Maybe there is some sort of telepath at work here?

I thought the "super speed" was a funny sitcom replacement to flying (since the doctor mentioned it felt like he was flying when Vision ran him back to the house) and/or it seems that they have enhanced/altered abilities in this world. Wanda can't make things come to life or materialize things in the MCU (that we've seen). I think it's just their abilities tweaked to suit this world/story.

I wanted to note that the writer of Episode 3, Megan McDonnell, is writing Captain Marvel 2. I enjoyed this episode a lot, so I’m excited to see how the film turns out with her writing and Nia DeCosta directing.

Just answer after answers to questions I kept asking myself over the previous three episodes. I enjoyed every answer given, especially how Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis fit into S.W.O.R.D.

Loved that we got to see people coming back from the blip again. Felt a lot slower of a comeback than Spider-Man: Far From Home but it was exciting to see.

It just clicked but the hexagon could be about AIM. I don't want every movie but have AIM been a presence in the MCU yet? I only know about them and their hexagons thanks to the Marvel's Avengers game.

Wow this episode.

This episdoe took quite a turn. While a. Lot of us suspected this to be the episode from the SWORD side, i wasn't quite expecting this. It was really interesting seeing people come back and the utter chaos that brought with it.

I like how they incorporated a lot of side characters from previous movies. It was also fun to see them have a lot pf the same questions we did. They knew nothing coming in and it wasn't until this episode we've gotten confirmation that Wanda is the sole one behind this, which I'm still not entirely convinced about. The hexigons just make me think AIM might be involved. But they havent really been brought up since Iron Man 3.

Also it was interesting to see that Vision, is himseove just reanimated by Wanda's powers and most likely still very much dead. It's really creepy, to imagine that she outright reanimated his corpse.

Some questions remain such as: Why this town? What caused her to do this? What's up with the ads? Why does Wanda sometimes seem to be in a haze? Are the Twins hers or did she magicly transport them to her? Why did she need to put a spell on this town and not just create her own town?

Edit: Also i just remembered that the FBI was looking for a missing person, what if they were a former Hydra or AIM agent? Or he's ralph.

AIM was mentioned in Iron Man 3.

This wasn't a good episode. Cliche after cliche from bad Hollywood action flicks but with none of the charming self-awareness of the first three entries. Darcy had none of the wit and comedic timing of the Thor films. Exposition heaped upon exposition that could have been cut out entirely.

However, that later shot with Vision was outrageously good.

I thought the Hexagon was in reference to how Scarlet Witch uses "Hex Bolts" in the comics.

This was probably the best episode of the show so far. If it had continued the sitcom gimmick with no explanation any further, it would have been too much.

The biggest thing that stood out to me this episode is that Agnes did not have her identity found in real life. It makes me think that she isn't from the real world. I wonder if Wanda initially did a spell to live in a fantasy world of the perfect husband/wife life of old sitcoms (maybe that's all she got on TV in her country growing up), and someone (Agnes/Mephisto) picked up on the spell and decided to enter it?

It would be interesting if Agnes is Mephisto, learns as much as he can about Wanda, then offer her a deal to bring Vision back. It would explain why Agnes is so nosy. What if Wanda summoned Mephisto to Earth by using such a powerful spell? Like it makes him aware of Earth? I guess if they want to go that route, they can say that Wanda didn't realize that she was keeping the gateway open for Mephisto to enter.

I'm guessing we're going to see 80s sitcom style next week, although I'm kind of hoping there's a genre shift.
