i would love to join this, but i do have a question... what magic did merklynn give to those without banners? did he give them totems? or did he give them just magic over machines... and do the ones with banners only have the power to summon their banner once?

OH YAY!! a potentail new rp player!! ^^ thanks for taking the time to check it out!! and i will be glad to answer thy questions!!! ^^ Ok, the magic that merklynn gave to those without the banners was the ability to use machines. EVERYBODY had recieved a totem, so no one got giped on that, it was just a boon for those that didn't have banners. ^^ While those who had banners, were granted the magical beings. ^^ And yes, as i had thought i had said in my main post.. XD they can only use it once. :/ but they can go RECHARGE their banners, but they have to return to Merklynn's keep to do so, and he may charge them by sending them out on quests.

so hopefully that answers your questions!! if there are any other questions, or i didn't do a good enough of a job.. XD let me know!! otherwise i do look forward to a template if you do decide to join!! ^^

hmmmm, wellllllllllll, what exactly are totems? just small wooden figures of animals?

XD i guess i didn't explain that well enough... XD no, the totems is just what we call the magical animal that the person can change into. take leoric for example...

In the cartoon, he went up against this giant statue thingy with this wip and made it go away, allowing him to escape. When he had reached the top, Merklynn, who was granting all of them their totems, said ur courage, blah blah blah, so he granted Leoric the ability to change into a lion! i'll look up a youtube video to help explain myself better... XD but no. The totems are not little wooden animals.

uhh.... XD no they're not futuristic... XD they USED to be futuristic... XD but because of what happened when the world's three suns came into alingement, no technological stuff works, except for those that were granted the magical power to bring a machine back to life. and i guess you could make an inventor type person... >> but the character would have to still pick a side for which he was trying to invent things for... XD and it can't involve technogoly because of eariler comment... XD even if your character was granted the boon to bring stuff back to life, no one but other knights with the same ability would be able to use it.. XD so i don't know... XD let me think on it... XD

no i meant that my character is a former knight who went into retirement, or who is just an inventor type character, but he is also a good fighter, and is one of the stronger knights? Idk. i'm trying to give ideas here.

i don't really like the concept of the powers. it really limits things.

ahh.. >> well, that's what the cartoon of old had as the way of things.. XD if you had a banner, you got a being... no banner, you could bring machines to life. XD im just a going off the cartoon here.. .XD

you can have your character be whatever as long as it fits into whatever domains there happen to be... XD hopefully all this confusion and whatnot isn't putting you off from joining... XD im really not trying to be difficult... XD

and ralor... XD can i ask who your character is hangin with...? XD because i've no clue... XD and if he's following the three kids... XD well, i just had to ask shinra to modify his post for the same reason... XD

ah bugger, sorry havent posted in ages. just wondering the threeare split up now or are they all in the cave?

aahhh.. XD i had thought it was clear enough.. XD then again i waz super duper tired when i posted... XD so yeah.. >> they are all seperated, but within the same 'maze' within the cave. ^^ though, i should say now, once out of the cave, they have to work their way through the basement of the keep and upwards with a whole bunch of stuff to be in the way. so be somewhat creative with what u encounter.
