Name: Dariosal Penwat
Sex: Male
Age: 25
What they look like:
What they look like in their armor:
Except armor is red where green and black where yellow
Personality: Rather feirce, brave, and protective in battle, but outside is dark and gloomy. He doesn't get too attached to anybody. More of a leader than a follower. He despises those who pick on those lower than them. He strives to not let anybody die on his side in his presence.
Bio: When the great civilization was still thriving, he was a gaurdian/assasin. He used guns, then, not swords. Then the event happened. He continued doing that, picking up swordsmanship, which he had been in a swordsman club as a teen, so it was easy. For payment, he asked for not just money, but news.
He and his wife- Niemoto Penwat - lived safely in the forest in a burrow he dug with a drill he stole from a target. They bought food from Merchants who he found while he was doing his job.
Finally, they heared the news of the Great Kingdom of New Valarak, just 10 miles away, they set up camp in burrows he dug every night.
But they were attacked, on the first day. Somebody whose brother he had killed. The younger brother had been following him through merchants the couple had bought from. They fought until finally he killed the brother.
Two days later, the brother came back with another brother. This one looked the same. But neither had any injuries. "Triplets." Niemoto said.
"Run, Niemoto! Run as fast as you can, go straight to the kingdom" By now they were a mere mile away.
One of the twins spoke. "We all planned on taking you 3 on 1. But Niroji ran away at night. So incompetent."
"How 'bout one on one. I'll only use one katana this time."
"As you wish" The second twin went to the side.
Dariosal fought the twin for what seemed like four hours.
Finally, he ran into the forest and dug under a tree as fast as he could.
The twin figured it was simply an entry way to a Drill Monkey's hole.
Dariosal sprung up and hit the twin straight down the spine, killing him.
He returned to the clearing where the twin had been.
"Your turn!" He shouted.
Nobody answered.
He figured he ran away, so he ran toward the kingdom once more.
About half a mile from the kingdom, he saw a filled-in ditch. He saw blood nearby. His blood ran cold. The twin. Niemoto. He dug it up.
It was Niemoto.
He fell to his knees.
This was his fault.
He should have fought them 2 on 2.
He stayed there in silent vigil for two days.
He cried the entire time.
He realized he would make her death in vain if he didn't kill the twin.
He hunted and got water from a stream nearby.
Four days later, the man showed up. Dariosal could hear him right above him.
He dug a hole right under the twin, using a split to make it safe for himself. Under the trap he made spikes with his katanas.
The twin fell through and died.
Dariosal had buried Niemoto under the ice-cold stream to keep her from decomposing. So he dug her up and ran to the kingdom.
He told the king all that had happened and made sure she got a proper burial ceremony. He attended the burial and afterwards joined the Spectral Knights to make sure the rest of the kingdom was safe. He swore never to become attached to somebody again.....
Totem: Phoenix Griffin- A Griffin with phoenix characteristics instead of the characteristics of that of an eagle. It can breath fire, use it's tears to heal, and is immune to fire.
Side: Spectral Knights
Ability: Spontaneous Combustion- Dariosal's eyes turn to that of a Phoenix, he cries for the loss of his beloved wife, the tears of the phoenix making his clothes and himself fireproof for 15 minutes. His pores expand and all the unnecessary flammable chemicals in his body. (I.e. Methane, CO^2, Oils in the skin etc.) flow out and a strong neurological electrical pulse ignites it. The phoenix tears make it so all he gets is the equavalent of a major sunburn.
"As we grieve for those we've lost, we remember their sacrifices. We pray and act so their deaths were not in vain. But in truth and all reality, they are never dead. The phoenix bursts into flames and rises from its ashes. Humans die in a blaze of glory and rise from the ashes as memory, inspiration, and passion. That is the way of the circle of life!"
Weapon(s):
Tunnel Drill- Not for attacks so much as sneak attacks and traps. Not used much in battle.
Firefang- A katana that is made of a super-strong carbon-fiber-steel alloy - 100 times stronger tan steel- and is hollow with pores like the human skin so that he can fill it with gasoline and when it hits against another hard material, it sparks and bursts into flames.
