The sky started to gain light as the sun rose into the sky, marking the end of the night. Thunder rumbled as the night's storm traveled toward the east, while spitting out the occasinal amount of rain.
Chris took his time stretching, gazing at their destination. As he stretched with his companions stirring or whatnot, he continued to look upon the mountain that was called Iron Mountain. Which was supposedly the home of Merklynn, the mighty wizard, who would grant gifts of magic to those he found worthy. Well, he wasn't sure if there was somebody living up on the mountain, but there was indeed a keep. Chris suppressed a shudder, which happened every time his gaze fell upon the keep. Despite having learned that it was visited on ocassion, Chris coulnd't shake the feeling that it was a haunted place.
As he continued to stretch, his mind was ablazed with questions. So many questions he had, and half of them were probably in vain, if this Merklynn didn't live here. One thing was for sure, they had finally reached their destination, which had been hard enough, and one way or another, they would climb to the top and find out their answers.
Chris finished his excersises, turned around and said to his friends, "Ok, let's get moving before we waste too much time." He then turns back to continue gazing at the mountain, while he watied for his friends to get ready or whatever it was they needed to do.
