I like listening to a lot of music from video games, I find a lot of it to be really good, pretty powerful stuff some of it, and it adds to the entertainment of the game.

Some of my favourite video game music is:

Kingdom Hearts: A Desire for all that is lost, Vim and vigor, Guardano Nel Buio, Destati, Another Side, The Encounter, One Winged Angel, Battleship Bravery, Sunset Horizons, The Other Promise, Riku (piano version)

Legend of Zelda Windwaker: Fairy Spring, Ocean Theme, Title theme, Dragon Roost Island, Fencing Instruction, Battle Theme (yeeey, it has its own music for a combo!)

Super Smash Bros Melee: Princess peach's castle, Rainbow Cruise, Fountain of Dreams, Pokefloats, Mother, Balloon Fight, How to Play (thats a good un)

Dark Cloud: Tale of another world, Nolun Village, Spirit King, Battle, Departure, Ending Credits

Tomb Raider: Wolf Attack, Venice Theme

Metal Gear Solid: Main theme

Most of Square's games have pretty good music. I really enjoy The World Ends With You and Kingdom Hearts, with some Final Fantasy mixed in. The Legend of Zelda has some good tracks too. Oh Yes, also Jet Set Radio, but that goes without saying. Here's some of my favorites:

This is like the 80 gazillionth vijya gaem music thread, but I'll play along and post the lesser-known/unappreciated stuff. Of course, I have to start with Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. That game easily had the most amazing soundtrack of the PSone library this side of Castlevania: SotN. What made it so great was that it was -and still is- a breath of fresh air in rock-filled and semi-orchestral period of game composition. The music is a seemingly eclectic mix of traditional Japanese sound, modern orchestra, and subtle jazz, but the synergy is indescribable. A few certain numbers still give me the chills to this very day well over decade since I first played the game. It was sad to see that the later installments continually moved away from the subtle music that made the first one great. So here, enjoy the original (a couple of names are mixed up so I might accidentally post duplicates, and I'm omitting some).

Entire OST is a surreal trip. Stewart Copeland is an amazing guy.
The 2nd and 3rd game had decent music too, though they frankly weren't even on the same level as the first. Most of the tracks sounded either too mainstream or like shallow imitations of the first game.

Anywho.

I'm not the biggest fan of the COD soundtracks but they do have a few choice songs.





And I still listen to this shit.
