Ven to Sora

this is a simple theory and there wont be much detail either

1. Ven gives sora the wooden sword (you can see ven in the new scans holing one)

2. when sora looses his keyblade he gets the wooden sword back

3. when he gets the keyblade from riku the wooden sword turns into the keyblade.

4. memories of ven lingered in the sword now lingered in the keyblade which is connected to sora's heart.

5. Sora stabby stabby himself with rikus keyblade and makes roxas.

6. The memories of ven take the form of roxas.

its short it simple.... it makes sense. enjoy. flame. discuss. do what you like.

I dont think the wooden sword is important. I'm pretty sure Sora just made it in Destiny Islands.

If memories can lie in an inanimate object, which I suspect they could because of key chains, then this makes sense. I like it.

I don't think that Nomura knew the plot of BbS when he made KH1 so I don't think the wooden sword has any relationship between Ven and Roxas. Ven may have given Sora the sword but I don;t believe it had that big of an impact.

Because the sword is so generic, I wouldn't be surprised if Ven and Sora just happen to have wooden swords that look the same. The description calls it a "toy sword", so it's probably as generic as the Struggle Bats in Twilight Town.

Yea but Nomura could connect it, at first he could thought of it nothing important but now he got an idea that connect with it

But as long as Nomura could use something from KH1 he could use to include in BBS as a connection and still have it make sense, there's a chance that Nomura would take advantage over it.

Thats true but I hope if Nomura does do that it wouldn't be over something as small as a wooden sword

Thats not always the case. Most game programes or whatever you want to call them will turn something that didnt mean anything to the series in a previous game something important in the next, or in this case prequel.

So to make things simpler;

The wooden sword wasnt important in KH1 but then when they made BbS they decided to make it important.

This theory is possible, but I'm personally doubtful the only reason Ven and Sora is connected is because Ven gave Sora a wooden sword. I mean, Sora's wooden sword being so valuable, important, and powerful that it produced one of the biggest mysteries in the series... turned Sora's special nobody into a Ven-look-alike? I think it makes the whole Roxas looking like Ven deal a bit insignificant but that's just my opinion.

Or maybe he gave Sora the wooden sword because he knew that Riku would get the Keyblade someday, and Riku would need someone to "practice with" (or beat up on).

Sora: Are you sure normal 4 and 5-year-old boys fight each other with wooden swords?

Ven: Sure they do. I see it all the time. It's like a fun game.

Well riku had a wooden sword of his own, so maybe Terra gave him one too so he and sora can train.
We know Terra chose Riku and possibly Ven chose Sora.

Hmm, its plausable but I don't think that his memories would be preserved in a sword (unless it has a keychain, then maybe). Interesting though.

I heard that Sora and Riku made the sword to practicefighting in case they have to fight monsters while exploring worlds.

well, its a somewhat good theory, but not that logic has that big of importance in the KH universe, i doubt that sword would last 10 years

I agree I don't think the wooden sword is important but I like the idea of Ven's memories lingering to make Roxas, but I don't know how that would work since Nobodies are the bodies of people and not memories.
