Ven/DS connection theory.

Hear me out first.
On the KH2FM+ secret ending, when MX split into two and DS appeared, Ven tried to attack but stopped by Terra.
Also, Ven went to attack DS first.Terra was aiming at MX.

Here's the point:
Why would Ven react when DS appeared?
Are they the one who's friends rather than Terra and DS?
Ven attacked DS when Terra went for MX.
Ven could be the one that try to free DS from MX.

Those two are like Sora and Riku.
Sora looked for Riku and Kairi in KH1.
Sora found out that Riku was being controlled by AH.

Ven could have been looking for DS and wanted to free him under MX's control.
They could be best friends like Sora and Riku.

That's it.Do what you want.

It's possible for Ven and the DS to be friends but we just don't have enough background info about any of them to confirm it. I'd imagine however though that if Ven was trying to save the DS for whatever reason he would have to defeat MX not the DS.

haha I see where you are coming from, but I wouldn't want to bash my friends head in to get them back. If Master Xehanort is in control of DS, I'd concentrate my efforts.

Ven didn't have the chance to attack MX since Terra was taking him on.
So V&A concentrated on DS 1st to ensure that DS won't become a problem in taking MX on(since MX is uber powerful).Also, he only got the chance when he tried to backstab MX, and failed.

Possible. I also think Ven might be refereing to him when he says "because he is my friend, I want to be erased" (something like that )
That, or, Ven is Telling that to DS when talking about Terra.

but no one attacked Aqua directly.

although thereis a connection btwn DS and Dark Riku, their armor is quite similar.

that is possible. yet for some reason i wanna say that that was more of a "let's just attack them" kind of movement, not a "he's my friend. must save..."
^and to Xirsch_2, that sounds possible too. aqua's been kinda left our of everything, so... yeah, that seems like the only other possibilty at the moment. and a good one too, since we don't know what DS' face looks like, yet.

that they used to be friends
that MX and aqua were acquaintances (because neither MX or DS attacked her)
that DS fought Ven to keep him away from MX

I agree with that about 60%. DS did cast ice at Aqua and Ven, and She did get hit by the tornado of keyblades which leads to her helmet being broken off.
