Ursula (Form 1) WON'T DIE!!

I've been trying to smack the crap out of her with my keyblade and caste magic for the past hour, and I know it's been hitting her. She's got like 2 HP left, and for some reason, she just isn't dying. And the eels keep coming back to life. I've tried hitting the cauldron in the center as well. Is there something wrong with my game? Or am I doing something wrong?

When you talk to King Trident before the battle he tells you the only way to get to Ursula is through her cauldron. Basically, lock-on to the cauldron and cast magic on it (blizzard, fire, thunder, etc.). Every time you hit the cauldron, a small fire ball will come out of it and it Ursula. After a bit, the cauldron will overload and Ursula will be knocked unconscious. Take this time to whip her good.

Rinse, dry, and repeat until dead.

I had that problem when I first started playing too. You have to make the cauldren blow up using the magic set up.
Cauldron Color = Spell you should use
Red = Fire
Blue = BLizzard
Yellow = Thunder

Also, she won't die until you make the cauldron blow up when she has very little hp.

And the eels keep coming back because after their both dead, Ursula will heal them. Whenever you need more MP, beat on them to gain some, and equip the Spellbinder key chain if you haven't already.
