I can't tell you not to be sad because others have it worse. That's like telling you you can't be happy because others have it better. But it's important to not let the sadness can't drag you down. When you give up on yourself, you give up on all hope. The strongest person in the battle against grief, depression, anxiety, etc is you. It's okay to give yourself time, but the longer you stay in the dark, the harder it is to find your way out. Don't lose that light the flickers bravely in the shadows. Rise up. Stand strong.
