Upcoming Kingdom Hearts Games Possibly (but most likely not) cancelled.

Stupidly low. Kingdom Hearts is one of Square's best sellers, I doubt they would can the games just like that. If they were ever going to cancel the series, they would give warning.
When people hear the words "Square-Enix" they think of Final Fantasy. If they had a little bit more knowledge about SE, they would probably think of "Kingdom Hearts". Those two are the "top dogs" for SE and are as likely as being cancelled as dogs speaking fluent english in a british accent or a good live-action Disney Channel Original Movie.
The only Kingdom Hearts game I could think of being cancled is BbSv2 because it was never officially announced. But I doubt that it was, they're probably to far in development to cancel it.

I kind of hope they change their mind on BBSv2 or even 3D. Then again, it seems we're finally getting the Hunchback in 3D, so disregard that part. Let's just stick with BBSv2, unless it just so happens to be for PS3 and NOT the PSP(2), especially the PSP2. Honestly, I want little less focus on new KH games other than KH3 and more on KH3. Come on, if they can make all these side games (ignoring BBS) at once, they can at least get started on KH3.
No they can't. I don't know where you have been all this time, but they can not get started on KH 3.
The simple reason: The main Kingdom Hearts-Team (and Nomura himself) are occupied by Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which has top-priority and is Square's "main" project in development.
Unless Versus is finished, there won't be a start on KH 3!

DDD obviously isn't going to be canceled, and canceling BBSv2 would destroy the significance of BBSFM's secret ending.

That's gotta be it...would also fit with the "shocking" ending Nomura proposed for KH DDD. Which is that Xehanort wins and everyone gets enslaved by him for all eternity, leading to eternal torment for everyone ending KH in tragedy...;P

That actually sounds like an awesome idea.
Square Enix would not cancel any of their big series (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, etc.). There are other games like Gun Loco (sorry if I'm wrong, maybe a bad example) which are not as popular which could have been cancelled before they were announced (so Gun Loco wouldn't be cancelled cause it was announced). Also, SE adverstises and distributes many games as well (Dead Island is one of those) and they could have just decided to cancel their distribution agreements or something of that sort. Don't worry, Kingdom Hearts won't be cancelled because even SE knows that although KH isn't the most popular game at the moment, all they have to do is announced KH3 and they will be raking in the big bucks (if KH3 doesn't sell well someone can slap me)
Did anyone think of fortress the supposed ff12 related game? It could have been canceled seeing as nothing has been heard since jan 2010.
Fortress is pretty much dead and buried of which I am most certainly sure.
I wouldn't expect a game from their main three -Japanese- franchises to be cut.
Most of what they have cut are from projects that are currently in the works, so not yet announced. So, we don't really know what sort of projects these are. Most likely new IPs that they don't have enough quality assurance in.
Looks like their new LA studio is getting the axe, and it may be the few games they had in development.
But yeah, FF DQ and KH are very safe.

That sounds just about right.
If any KH game gets cancelled, I can easily see it being BBS V2. Out of all the entries, it looks like the most pointless one and just useless filler that could be summed up in a twenty minute cutscene in KH3. So I actually do hope that it gets canned. I'm thinking for money sake they would want Nomura to begin production on KH3. BBS V2 would be a waste of money.
