They never show any animation though. That's suspicious.

Generally try not to read youtube comments, but I found this one in the highest rated:

What a scam! Just search for Sparse Voxel Octree. Wonder why they don't show any animation? Because it can't be done. That's why this technology that exists for more than a decade can't be used in gaming.

Impressive. I think the new Unreal Engine 3 looks better though.

And yes, I wish we got some animation. I'd love to see how physics would work.

You have to remember, when someone shows off the engine, it has a group of artists behind it. No one in that studio is a professional artist.

If they gave it to someone, we might really get a taste of what it can do yay brown and grey, but this time even MORE, just like life :D :D :D

Moving on, does anyone really care if their game looks real or not? I played Crysis 2 (which didn't look too real to me) and I really didn't care for the graphics.

Yes, because I want my games to look like outside and play like a cover shooter. Always.

I'd rather have a good art direction than brown and grey realism.
