Around a year. Though i'm sure that Xemnas did some of his own when he took over RG from Ansem.

Yeah, probably. And the other members might have done some more on their own. The first 6 (or was it 8?) or so were Ansem's apprentices, so they know a thing or two about the Heartless, and how to create them. Perhaps.

This is just a quick theory and there's really no need to go into much detail, so I'm tossing it out there.

As of now I've come to the conclusion that the Unbirths are beings who wish to cease to exist, and to meet that goal they must be slain by the Keyblade.

They are named after their desire as opposed to what they actually are.

It makes sense doesn't it?

so they are some mad suicidal colony?

Close.

At least you didn't say "TEHN Y DEY NO KIL DEMSELFS?!!??!!!/111!?!?!?!?!/1`/1/!"

Anyway, I theorize they are creatures that wish to undo their existence, and that is where their name comes from. But to accomplish it they must be slain by the Keyblade, but their desire is overrun by an animalistic instinct to end other's existences.

I dunno, to me it seems pretty far-stretched that unbirths are like that. It wouldn't make sense plot-wise.

Because, there wouldn't be any real enemies besides that old man since there is no is real enemy. There wouldn't be any unbirth bosses, even if they were, they would just let themselves get killed. It would kill the gameplay as well. Besides, we don't know much about the Unbirths but this is by the far the most retarted thread about unbirths. No offense but it just doesn't make much sense.

what if the only way they can be destroyed is by fighting.maybe when they fight they are using the power of hearts and the more they use it the weaker they become.

i get what he means, maybe they don't have control over attacking

Close, but not quite.

maybe they are a mad crazed colony of young school girls in disguise. out for terra and ven's heart

Please... Do not defile this thread with more stupid content.

No. You should have read the entire thread, because I've answered those points already:

Unbirths are creatures who desire to undo their existence, yet they are cursed to be driven by self-preservational urges and animalistic instincts. This is why they aren't suicidal and won't let themselves be killed.

They are FORCED to fight.

they wouldn't just want to be slain by the keyblade there's just no point in that.i don't know why but your theory doesn't make sense, i'm lost.

Refer to the edit I've made in the starting post.

Maleficent and Company could've made heartless, too. Right?

They collected Heartless, but I doubt if they really MADE any.
In KH1, we know the reason Heartless have those Emblems (see previous post) but I look at Nobodies and the illastration(sp) of the Unbirths, and there are the Emblems again, just different. Does anyone know why? Because I don't. (and I already know those are the Nobody and Unbirth crests, I thought I would say it differently, but they ARE emblems...)

Right there, you basically are contradicting yourself. It wouldn't make sense to make enemies who want to die and can't because they have some sort of instincts. -_-

Animal instincts are mostly of survival, it woudln't fit a creature who wants to die.

While it seems you read everything, it's safe to say you don't really understand it. If you want to point out irrationalities, you'd best start with the talking animals in Kingdom Hearts.
