Hello everybody! We have tons of new awards for the new year that can be requested through our Awards System thanks to Antifa Lockhart! Some are limited-time awards so go claim them before they are gone forever...
seems something sorta of another aeon flux thing going on but i dont like those freaky future movies so im not gonna see it, i dont remember the song sorry
After watching the preview for the first time, I thought "this looks stupid, its just copying Aeon Flux" But after wathing the previw multiple times I'm thinking "It's worth a look"
Cast & Crew:
Milla Jovovich, Cameron Bright, Nick Chinlund, William Fichtner, Duc Luu directed by Kurt Wimmer
Synopsis:
In the distant future, the government wages war against a subculture of disease-modified humans, in whom speed, strength and intelligence are magnified. In the midst of this turmoil a woman finds herself the protector of a nine-year-old boy targeted for death.
MPAA Rating: PG-13 - for sequences of violent action throughout, partial nudity and language.
On the contrary, I did too also think that this movie was going to be an Aeon Flux rip-off. But after understanding more info, it is more like an Underworld, but with a super model as the heroine.
You made it sound as if Charlize Theron isn't pretty at all, when in actuality, she is one of the beautifulest women live, and Milla Jovovich isn't less attractive, they both have their different characteristics of beauty.
Ah, yeah, Charlize Theron is one hot peice of ass, but Milla, well, she is a different story, she is pretty damn beautiful to me as well. :\
Aeon Flux though, it's also a sci-fi futuristic flick, but Charlize Theron is somewhat human, and is after the baddie, in UltraViolet, Milla is a vampire protecting a kid or something that touches that topic.
when you say it looks like its copying aeon flux, do you mean the movie, or the cartoon? 'Cause Ultraviolet started first (filiming and all that) and Aeon after, but aeon was rushed out, and yeah thus leaving Ultraviolet a 2006 release.
Though these types of movies are becoming more and more popular, almost as if they are becoming their own sub sub sub genre. (the whole future thing and the one-woman/man-bad-arse person-gonna-fight-and-save-the-world-type thing)
and yes i am aware that aeon was a cartoon way back in the day
Well i saw it today and im kinda dissapointed. I mean some of the fight scenes were awesome. Especially the roof top scene with those japanese guys. But the rest was like every action movie cliche. 7/10
