as far as i know, someone's level doesn't actually impact anything i thought (aside from what avatar boards it unlocks) so it never really made sense not to raise the cap at the same time.

In JP, the level cap raise came alongside a UX-event where it was possible to acquire hundreds of thousands of Lux for a single raid boss. Maybe one (far away) day, we'll get both of that together as well?

Considering how long it takes to even get those 50 levels...that'd be a little ridiculous. I've been playing kinda frequently since JP got their level cap raise, and I'm at level...303 maybe? It takes forever.
