THE ROLEPLAY HAS STARTED! ROLEPLAY THREAD IS LOCATED HERE:
[ TWISTER Roleplay ]

[STORY]

The streets are busy today...

…just like always.

But even as I walk through the sea of people…

…I always see someone who just keeps their head down as I pass by.

It’s almost like…

…they don’t want to face the world.

Sometimes I even wonder…

… do they ever try looking up?

I mean, c’mon! A little change once in a while has never hurt anybody, you know?

One year sure does seem to fly by, doesn’t it?

It's been one year since Joshua made his final judgment on Shibuya. Deciding to spare the fateful district, Joshua believed that it could possibly change for the better. Thankfully, the Composer was spot-on with his decision. As it turns out, Shibuya really has changed, and the evils that the Composer once saw in the area are now nothing but past errors. However, there’s just this one problem: Mr. Pink is in trouble.

Angels. They are otherworldly beings located in the Higher Plane of Shibuya. An ambiguous group of characters, their ethereal powers are thought to surpass even the Composer himself! Lately there’s been some commotion in the Higher Plane concerning Joshua and his current role overseeing the Underground. His actions from the previous Game has triggered an outrage from the Angels. Joshua, despite his victory over the bet between him and the current Conductor at the time, Kitanji Megumi, did not get rid of Shibuya like he pledged to do, which leads many to believe the Composer is not reliable. If he is unable to keep his word, why should he be the one responsible over what goes on in the Underground?

One thing is clear: As long as Joshua is in power, the Angels feel as though they are leaving the Underground in unreliable hands. The Higher Plane does not trust the collected Composer, and an untrustworthy Composer should never be in charge of such a high responsibility. In the end, the higher beings all agree to one thing: Joshua must be stripped of his Composer status, and a new Composer must take his place.

Joshua hears word of his possible dethronement from an acquaintance of his: Hanekoma. Joshua, being the very is a calm and collected individual he is, is more or less unfazed when he's informed about this disturbing news, though he does admit that he has grown quite accustomed to his status as Composer. Losing it (and his existence) to the Angels is something Joshua does not find fairly amusing.

So, in the end, he proposes to play a Game with the Angels.

It will be a one-week long challenge. Like the last Game, this competition will be played through the use of proxies: the Players and the Reapers. The rules are simple: If Joshua, the Composer, wins, he retains his status as Composer and is spared from erasure. If the Angels win, Joshua will be faced with erasure, leaving Shibuya with a new Composer and more "capable" hands to rule the Underground. The future of all the participants in the Game will be determined by the new Composer, or in this case, any Angel in the Higher Plane who volunteers to take on Joshua’s job.

After reviewing the last Game with Neku and the others, Joshua believes that the new set of Players have a chance at overcoming the Reapers, thus he automatically chooses the Game’s Players as his proxies for the bet. However, he seems to be forgetting one important thing: He's not the only one running things. Not anymore. Joshua is forced to let the Angels choose the Players as their pick, while the former Composer must settle with the Game's new set of Reapers as his proxies.

Still slightly unsure about the policies concerning the Reapers’ Game, the Angels choose to make a proposal of their own. Instead of sending down a Producer to patrol the Game, the Higher Plane plans to send one of their own down to the UG to personally partake in Joshua’s bet. This “representative” will act as the Angel’s eyes in the Game. While participating in the Game as a normal Player, the representative will keep a close eye on the competition. During the week, the representative will, to some extent, act as the Producer. While the Angel is restricted from revealing his/her identity to any of the contestants during the competition, the representative also takes on the role as being a hidden referee. If anyone, be it Player or Reaper, breaks any of the regulations set in the Game, the representative may be required to reveal his/herself to the Players and Reapers, and the side whose proxies were at fault shall automatically forfeit the Game by failure to abide by the rules and regulations.

However, more problems begin to arise. Joshua argues that even with the representative’s powers lessened from traveling to the Underground, the representative will still have more power than the Reapers and Players. Not only that, but the fact that the he/she is more or less “siding” with the Players guarantees an easy victory for the Angels. The Composer suggests that this pseudo Player be under a set of limitations while in the Reapers' Game.

- coup de grace: The representative may not be responsible for the erasure of anyone partaking in the Game. He/she will not be allowed to give the "finshing blow" to a Reaper or a Player.

- embargo: Restrictions are placed over the use of most of the Angel’s powers during the Game. These restrictions lessen the Angel’s power even more so than they already are when the representative arrives in the Underground.

After heavy consideration, the proposals sent forth are all granted, with the proxies officially decided. Most rules from the standard Reapers’ Game are still in place for this week, but Joshua and the Angels make a decision to bestow a couple of sanctions upon the Reapers and Players that will ultimately change up the rules a bit.

Player Sanction: A Player who has no partner can join what is called an “alliance” with two other Players whom are already partners. When a Player is part of an alliance, that Player is able to attack and defend against Noise, though their power decreases dramatically. At any point the lone Player (and only the lone Player) may decide to break off his/her alliance. This “break-off” is highly unusual and unlikely unless he/she has found a partner to forge a pact with. An alliance can only last one full day, and after that the alliance is permanently broken, leaving the lone Player with only two options: He/she must either find a partner to forge a pact with or find a different set of Players to form an alliance with. And keep this in mind: Noise are extremely attracted to participants who are alone in the Game. Technically, even if a Player does join an alliance, he/she has not necessarily forged a pact with a partner. Therefore, the trio will have to fend off larger amounts of Noise than normal.

Reaper Sanction: Game Masters are now chosen [by the Conductor] for every day, and not every week. Reapers who are not the Game Master for the current week are also allowed to attack the Players more freely throughout the week in order to prevent them from completing their mission.Whether they attack or do not attack the Players is solely up to them. However, Reapers are only allowed to erase a Player if they are the Game Master for that day. Reapers who are not Game Masters also may not go into their Noise forms.

In the end, both Joshua and the Angels fully agree to the Game’s rules. Joshua (or in this case, his proxies, the Reapers) will be given one full week to erase all Players (with the exception of the representative) participating in the Reapers’ Game. If he fails, he will face erasure. And what about the off chance that neither sides are completely erased within the 7-day time frame? Well, let’s not think about that. But… it won’t be good. After all, Joshua did propose this Game as a way to save himself from erasure. Do you think the Angels will be lenient enough to have another week-long Game just to prolong Joshua’s punishment?

Oh, and one more thing. No one, besides the Composer, the Conductor, and the Angels, has any knowledge about this secret gamble over Shibuya. All of them are pawns in this Reapers' Game, both Players and Reapers alike. Players believe that once they finish the Game, they get their Second Chance, while the Reapers still believe that they're just erasing Players like any other week. All with just a slight change of rules, of course. This whole bet is kept strictly between the Composer, the Angels, the Conductor, and a certain Fallen Angel. But how long will this secret bet remain withheld from the Players and Reapers before it is finally unveiled to everyone? More importantly, will Joshua retain his status as Composer, or will he fail his mission and face erasure?

Well, that’s where you come in.

[THE REAPERS’ GAME]

The Reapers' Game is a week-long game that participants (called Players) partake in. It is located in the Underground (or UG), which is a plane parallel to where the “real Shibuya” (Realground, or RG for short) resides. It’s kinda like layers on a cake. If the RG was the top layer, then the UG would be the bottom layer. People in the RG cannot in any way see or hear the events that take place in the UG, nor can they see the people who are located in the Underground. However, people in the UG can clearly see the events happening in both planes, but physical interaction in the RG is almost not possible. Players (and the Reapers' Game in general) are nonexistent to the people in the real Shibuya. But not everything is inaccessible to Players in the Underground. Certain markings stamped on the surfaces of buildings allow Players to interact with people located in the Realground. These markings are called Reaper decals and take on the appearance of a red tattoo with a skull and crossbones insignia. (Similar to the skull picture here, but just red.) Decals are usually located on the surfaces of shops and permit Players to enter inside stores with ease.

Players must survive all seven days of the Reapers’ Game all the while completing rigorous orders issued by the Reapers. The Reapers are an ambiguous group that occupy the Reapers’ Game. At first glance, they seem to be normal human beings just like the Players, but don’t be fooled. Unlike the Players, it’s the Reapers who are in control of what goes on during the deadly competition. They scare the unwilling Players and watch their every move as they make their way through wicked obstacles set up by the cryptic group. So, what is their ultimate goal? Easy! To erase as many Players as they can. In order to participate in the Reapers’ Game, the Players must give up something that they value the most. An entry free can be anything and is taken even before Players begin the Game. It’s not required that you tell us what your character’s fee is immediately. Really, I like the suspense, yes. :D However, if you want to mention it, then fill free to do so! And be creative with it~! (Don’t want everyone running around with their memories being their entry fee. :|)

When the Game starts, all Players wake up in different parts of Shibuya. They have no recollection of previous events that caused them to land in the busy area, and only two things lay in their possession: A black pin with a skull design on it, and a cell phone. Called a player pin, the true significance of the black pin is a mystery, but players with the pin are able to "scan” areas around them and tune into people’s thoughts like a radio. Players are not able to read the thoughts of others Players or Reapers in the Game; only people in the Realground.

The cell phones hold even more importance. All players in the game will receive one task from the Reapers via their cell phones. The task that one Player gets will be the same task as another Player. Same directions, same orders, same text. After the Players receive the mission, they experience a sudden and painful shock as a timer is implanted on the Players’ hand. Players then have a select amount of time to complete the mission given to them by the Reapers, or they will be erased from existence. Whether they choose to partake in the task or not is solely their decision; in most cases, if one Player completes the mission, then all Players have completed the task and thus will be spared from erasure for that day. (But don’t let this tiny piece of information get to your head. Keep in mind that Players who fail to complete the mission will be erased, so to stay on the safe side, participating in the missions that Reapers assign to you is probably the best idea.)

Along the way, strange creatures called Noise lurk in every corner of crowded Shibuya, latching to the negative thoughts of the people in the Realground. (Here’s the link to the wikia page that has the full lists of Noise. Click here! You can also look on Twewy’s art gallery for some cool concepts! Click again. :D) Noise are pretty unique in their own little way. Instead of existing in either the UG or RG, Noise reside in their own realm most commonly known as the Noise realm. Remember what I said about the RG and UG being the two layers of a cake? Well, you can consider the Noise realm the icing between the two layers. While they exist in a plane of their own, the Noise manage to both physically and mentally effect the UG and RG altogether. In the RG, the Noise influence the negative thoughts that reside in the minds of others. In the UG they take the form of various animals and creatures that have skeletal-like "tattoos" adorned on their forms. (Few even believe the tattoos resemble graffiti-like markings.) Like the Reapers, the Noise ruthlessly terrorize and attack Players throughout the Game, relentlessly attempting to erase the weak and insignificant. Though the Reapers do have most control over the Noise, the fact remains that the creatures are highly unpredictable both in and out of battles. To fight the Nois,e Players must scan an area around them. By scanning, Players are able to pinpoint the exact location of Noise which appear as large, most commonly red symbols floating in the air.
Players who try to fight the Noise alone will find the task almost impossible; when by themselves, Players stand no chance against the Noise. But together, they can make one heck of a team against the strange creatures.

This is where pacts come into play. To defeat the Noise, Players must forge a pact with one another to activate their abilities or psychs. A pact sort of acts like a bond between two Players, though that doesn’t necessarily mean the duo must like each other, and it definitely doesn’t mean that both Players must approve of the pact. You can walk right up to some random Player and decide to make a pact with him/her without their consent! The only way a pact can be truly broken is if one partner is erased. If that happens, the surviving Player must hurry and make another pact within 7 minutes, or else they too will be erased. But what about those who can’t find a partner? Well, they are simply asking for a death wish. A Player who is without a partner is basically out of luck. Noise are extremely attracted to Player who are without partners, and without anything to defend themselves with, Players are basically an open target for the Noise. With any luck, two partners will be graceful enough to form an alliance with the lone Player... That is, if they don't mind fighting off a ton of Noise.

If you are still confused about something, then here's my suggestion. I highly recommend you to skim through the TWEWY Wikia Page just to get a brief overview of the game! Click here~

[SHIBUYA]

SO~ This is basically like any other Reapers’ Game… just with a few changes to the rules. When you start, your current is location Shibuya, a fashionabledistrict in Tokyo. Shibuya is deemed by many young men and woman of Japan as a major fashion hub. It’s a stylish, trendy, and very jam-packed area. Many distinct and well known landmarks and locations are located in Shibuya, such as the 104 Building, the Hachiko statue, and the infamous pedestrian crossing known as “scramble crossroad.” All of these and many more landmarks debut in the game and will undoubtedly appear in this roleplay. In other words, the places your character will go will be actual places in Shibuya. I have taken the liberty of scanning the major areas in roleplay from the guide book. Hopefully, this will be a little bit more helpful:
Map 1
Map 2
Or, you know, you can always look here: Locations (I totally did not see this site before I scanned the pages. D:)

In Shibuya, shops are everywhere. Really. Everywhere. Characters may purchase items in some shops so long as they have yen to spend. Players can buy the items with the use of yen pins. Yen pins are pins that are often dropped by Noise once they are defeated. These special pins act as the currency in the UG and can be used to purchase items from stores. Be sure to note that Noise drop yen pins often, but not in every single battle!

Shops sell various items that can aid the Players in battles. These items include food/drinks, threads, pins, and miscellaneous items called swag.

Food/Drinks: Food and drinks sold in stores can range from snacks to full meals and from water to soda. In the game, food and drinks are used to boost the stats of characters, but for the sake of the roleplay, we’ll have the food and drinks replenish the health of damaged characters. The items may be used both during and after battles; however, food consumption is limited. After consuming food, a Player must partake in at least 3 battles before they can eat again. (It’s probably more than 3 battles in the game, but ehh.) Drinks, on the other hand, are unlimited, though they replenish health status a little less than food items. Drinks can include anything: soda, water, energy drinks, etc. Unlike food, drinks may also be sold in nearby vending machines, too!

Threads (Clothes/Jewelry): Who doesn’t enjoy browsing stores for some new clothes every now and then? With the use of threads, Players can enhance in their attack power, defense, or even endurance when they are equipped with threads obtained from shops. Players can equip no more than 4 threads (head wear, shirts, jewelry, and pants), and threads of the same type cannot be worn twice on a Player. The costs of the threads depend on how much they improve a Player’s status, so don’t expect to buy anything too major during the start of the Game.

Pins: For a certain price, pins may be sold in some shops. Really, there are some pins that can only be found and sold in certain stores, though these pins are usually quite rare and cost a lot!

Swag (Miscellaneous items): Books, wallets, stickers, and even CDs fit in this category. They are the items that do not belong in the Food/Dinks, Threads, or Pins category. Keep in mind that most of these items don’t necessarily boost your stats. Stickers, on the other hand , are important items that do increase your stats. They can be bought in shops or given to Players after completing certain quests.

Along with running their own stores, generous shopkeepers are known to lend some helpful information that may assist the Players during missions. So don’t hesitate to drop by stores every now and then and check out the store owners. And who knows? Maybe Players can learn a thing or two from the humble (and not so humble) store owners.

[MISSIONS]

Ah, and only EWS and I will have control over the time that goes by during missions. In Rena’s roleplay, it worked out pretty well with only her putting the remaining minutes somewhere in her posts. So, we’ll be controlling the time in this roleplay just to prevent any confusion.

So, Are You Playin’?:

[CHARACTERS]

Players [i just want to go home]

The characters that are trapped in the Reapers' Game are called Players. They are forced to participate in this week-long fight for survival as they scramble to complete various missions that the Reapers give out to them. During these missions, both the Reapers and the Noise make an effort to put an end to the Players’ existence by picking them off one by one. So, what are the Players’ goals? To go home, back to the real Shibuya. All Players should strive to get a second chance at life, and the only way to earn that second chance is by completing the Reapers’ Game. While all Players have their own special ability, Players can also get their powers through the use of pins. These powers are called, psychs. Very few Players are known to be able to use all psychs with ease, but most can control some pins to help aide them in battle. In some cases, the pins even boost the power of one’s own ability.

Neutral Characters [helping out the newbies should be fun]

These characters help guide the Players throughout the Game. Although neutral characters don’t participate in the Reapers’ Game, they are known to have some useful information for the Players who frequent their shops. Most neutral characters may be storekeepers, though if you have any other ideas for a neutral character then go ahead and ask us before you start your profile.

Reapers [just another week… like any other week]

Reapers are the ones in charge of the Reapers’ Game. A ruthless, yet enigmatic group of characters, Reapers are most noticeable by the black wings on their backs, which are said to house their power. Some Reapers prefer to show off their wings, while others (namely the Officers) prefer hide them. Players are eligible to become Reapers if strong enough, and Reapers, in turn, are capable of breaking from the Reapers and becoming a Player if they make a pact with another contestant in the Game. Reapers are also able to travel and settle into the Realground; though once in the RG, their powers diminish as well as their wings. The creation and erasure of their own Noise is also within the Reapers' power.

In the Game, there are different ranks for the Reapers:
  • Support Reapers
  • Harrier Reapers
  • Officers
- Support Reapers are the lowest ranking Reapers. While usually not attacking Players directly , their normal duty consists of building obstacles for the Players. Players will not be able to pass the walls unless they complete mini tasks that the Support Reapers assign to them. Mostly all Support Reapers are adorned in a huge red or black hoodies with their hoods up, or with their mouths covered by a bandana, so it’s hard to tell any of the Support Reapers’ facial features just by looking at them directly. (CLIX HEURR) Players who wish to become Reapers are usually recruited as Support Reapers.

- Harrier Reapers have a bit more significance. Directly under the Officers, their main job is to slow down the Players as they progress through the Game. Although they may not attack Players directly, they can summon Noise that may hinder the progress of Players completing their missions. It is rare for Players who join as a Reaper to automatically be promoted as a Harrier.

- Officers are high-ranking Reapers and are the only Reapers allowed to be Game Masters. Unlike the Reapers below them, all Officers have a Noise form. Officers have the ability to alter their bodies into a Noise that is more powerful than the regular Noise Players are used to fighting in the streets of Shibuya. Thankfully, only Game Masters are able to change into their Noise form, but that still doesn’t mean they’re not any less capable of wreaking havoc in the streets, so beware!

Officers are also listed as ranks and include:

The Game Master – Reapers who are responsible for issuing Players their missions during the Game. They command the Harrier Reapers and assign the Support Reapers to assemble obstacles for the Players. Usually Officers are enlisted as Game Masters for one week, but there’s been a slight change of rules during this particular Game. Now, Game Masters are chosen every day and change every day.

The Conductor -- He’s the head honcho of the Reapers. The boss of all Reapers below him. A royal and faithful servant, he takes orders directly from the Composer and directs the entire Game through the Composer’s wishes. He is also responsible for many other significant duties, such as collecting Players’ entry fees and enlisting new Reapers. Not only that, but he is partially in charge of sending Players back to the Realground once they have successfully completed the Game. Generally, the Conductor does not challenge the Players directly unless, in some rare event, Players manage to survive until the final day of the Reaper’s Game. The most powerful out of all Reapers in the Game, the Conductor is someone that Players do not wish to face.

If you join as a Reaper, then you are eligible for playing as a Support Reaper, a Harrier Reaper, or an Officer. Take note that there will only be seven Officer spots open. That's including the Conductor position! The Composer position is already taken (Joshua, though someone can play as Josh if they want to), and the Conductor position has yet to be decided, so please PM either me or EWS about that position if you wish to be the Conductor.

And Here’s A Word Of Advice :

[FAQ]

Do I really have to play the game in order to join?
A: No, not at all! Though, it is preferred that you at least have some basic knowledge of the game.

Argh, that's too many words that you have up there! asdhalskda
A: If you've never played The World Ends With You, please just bear with me and read it. It's highly encouraged that you have adequate knowledge of this game before you join this roleplay. If you have played this game, well, it doesn't hurt to refresh your memory, right? But yes, just please read it - especially the part where I attempt to explain how the Reapers' Game works.

So, what’s really the point of an Alliance?
A: Sometimes people become inactive. That leads to people and have a hard time participating in the Game/Roleplay. So, for the sake of having people still participate in the roleplay without any problems, alliances were made.

My Alliance has been broken. What do I do?
A: If your alliance has been broken, then you can make an alliance with a new set of Players or try to find a partner. However, they must not be Players whom you have already made an alliance with.

I can has the Angel position, yes? :^D
A: ;~;

I'm sorry, but that position has already been decided.

Try Not To Screw Up:

[RULES]

r1: Please, people: just Be Respectful to Each Other. Seriously. Just showing some respect to others is all I ask, and let’s not act like little two-year olds going back and forth on something that can be easily solved without the name-calling and stuff. :|
r2: Heck, I know I’m not the best writer in the world. But, please, Use Semi- Legible Writing for this Roleplay!
r3: Romance is all cute and cuddly… and stuff. Let’s just Make Romance Suitable for the Youngens, okay?
r4: Stay Active, Please! Even though the alliance feature is supposed to help people who are without partners stay in the game, it kinda sucks if you’re not active and don’t post in a roleplay. You’re missing out on all of the fun. So, basically, if you join, just post regularly.
r5: Anyone Can Join This Roleplay at Any Time so long as either EWS or I have said so otherwise. And you’ll know when we do~ So please don’t ask, “Hey this looks cool. Can I join?” For one, that tells us that you did not read the rules.
r6: No Godmodding or Powerplaying or Machine-Gun Posting, please! Powerplaying is when you control one’s character without that person’s permission. You can powerplay another person’s character just as long as you have permission to do so. You also must state that you have permission to control one’s character from either EWS or I. Godmodding, on the hand, is basically when… your character is a god. Neither Players nor the Reapers (save for a few exceptions) should be all powerful, guys. Now, during the first few days, the Game Masters are pretty powerful compared to the Players, but that should change as the Players get more experience. Finally, machine-gun posting is when somebody posts, and then you post within two or three minutes after theirs, and then you two keep up this cycle continuously for, like, an hour or so... yyyeah, let’s not do that. However, occasional machine posting is okay, but only if it’s for the sake of the roleplay being active again.
r7: If you are not accepted, then Do Not Post In The Roleplay Thread Until You Are Accepted By The Creators Of The Roleplay!
r8: Once the Roleplay has started, Try Not To Edit Your Profile Too Often. Adding a little about your bio or personality is fine, but if its major things such as altering your character’s attacks/abilities, try to tell us before you do anything, ‘kay?
r9: Write At Least A Paragraph Or Two When You Post! Please, please, please no one-liners.
r10: Last but not least, Have Fun! …Please? ;~;

.Or you will face erasure.

The discs aren’t of much use to her while in their original form, however when she “activates” the records, the twin objects become quite helpful when defending herself against the Noise. When Deejay first summons the black records, the discs hover in front of her hands, almost as if they are attracted to her gloves in some way. Like a disc jockey, Deejay activates the twin discs by "scratching" them, or by spinning the discs in place with the use of her finger tips. The records move back and forth, rotating in place until they reach their full velocity or until they activate. Once activated, the records take on a digital-esque feel: The four inscribed grooves on the discs emit a vibrant, light green glow when activated, while the rest of the discs glow a bright blue hue. Deejay can then use the discs in melee and attack Noise. With the records in her grasp, Deejay can use the sharp edges of the discs to slash, swipe and hack at her opponents.

Pins:
Psychedelic Groove Freeze: Deejay's discs become encased in a thin, transparent sheet of ice and give anyone who is sliced by the records an extra icy chill to their system. When this pin is activated the discs turn an icy blue hue while the grooves still emit the same greenish glow. Though it’s pretty hard to notice these changes since the discs are enveloped in a sheet of ice.

Psychedelic Groove Flare: Unlike its sister pin, Groove Freeze, this pin displays fire attributes when activated. Flames lick at the twin discs when this pin is activated, and the twin records glow a brightly colored red.

One, Two, Re-Fresh: A soda pin that heals a little of Deejay's energy. It has a maximum use of three uses per battle.

Brain Rave!: With the use of this pin, Deejay can use her discs as a long range weapon. Might not seem too lethal, right? Well, yeah, if you don't mind having two, razor sharp discs head in your direction. When hurtled, the records become moving razors, slicing right into objects that might be in the records' path. Deejay throws the weapon similar to how a Frisbee is tossed, and the records make a distinct "whirring" sound as they spin rapidly through the air. The discs move in a yoyo-like fashion; after being thrown, the records "rewind" to their original path and return to their original point of origin. The down side to this pin? Well, the records don't travel too far from where they are thrown; in fact, Deejay most definitely will not be able to hit an opponent that is stationed at least 15 feet away from her. The records can only travel so far.

Appearance:
Deejay stands at about 5'5 and has a slender build. Although her body isn’t necessarily made to deal harmful physical damage to others, her agile nature certainly makes up for that. She has a fair complexion with chocolate eyes. Dyed white bangs reach to her chin and contrasts with the rest of her raven-black hair that hangs down to the middle of her back, which is separated in two parts and tied individually with the use of clips. As for clothing, Deejay sports a black top with sleeves that stop around the girl's elbows. Aside from the two white stripes that run down the sides of her shirt and the white lining that runs around the bottom, the simple top has no distinct features or designs on it. A black and white plaid scarf is wrapped loosely around the girl’s neck, and black leather gloves protectively coat the female's hands and end right around her wrists. To help keep the gloves in place, Deejay fastens a small-sized belt tightly above each of the gloves. Black and grey camouflage pants hug her body securely and comfortably with the help of a black belt that overlaps her waist twice before fastening tightly on her figure. Deejay wears black high top sneakers as her choice of shoes, and white lining runs alongside the sole of her shoes. As a final feature, the teen sports an oversized, black box cap atop her head. The hat is slightly tilted to the left, covering a portion of the left side of her face.

Personality:
Deejay is overall a cheery and very optimistic individual through and through. At times weighed down by periodic bouts of laziness, all she needs is a little “push” in order for her to get something done (which usually consists of an award on her part). She has of gold heart and a very friendly persona, but because of her simple outlook on life, some may view the girl as somewhat naive. The company of friends is something that Deejay enjoys the most; without taking in any consideration for her own feelings, Deejay would gladly do anything for the people she cares about. Putting others before herself, the girl secretly believes that she is inferior to the people around her and that her own existence is somewhat unimportant.

Bio:
Dubbed the “rebellious one” in her family, Deejay was always considered the oddball in her family. Living with her mother, father, and two older sisters, they all resided in a tight apartment building that sat in the middle of Tokyo. When Deejay was born, her mother and father dubbed their youngest daughter Disuko Janeru. It wasn’t until later did Deejay finally ask her eldest sister why their mom and dad would name someone such a weird and bizarre name. To her disdain, the sister gave an imprecise response to her: “Believe it or not, Mom and Dad actually used to be pretty fun parents.” Her parents? Fun? Impossible! As long as Deejay could remember, her parents had been a very strict couple. They ruled over their children with an iron fist, hoping that by doing so all of their daughters would grow up to be proper, well behaved, and respectful young women.

As Deejay grew older, her mother and father feverishly trained their daughter in hopes that they would successfully raise another well-mannered child. Unfortunately, their plan sort of… backfired. Outgoing, energetic, and slightly tomboyish (she didn’t necessarily relish the idea of wearing clothes such as dresses and skirts), Deejay was anything but well-mannered. Her parents frequently scolded her for her actions while often rehashing their old line, “ladies do not do this” or, “ladies do not do that”. As time went on, this really began to annoy Deejay. So, on her 15th birthday, Deejay left her home. Without looking back, Deejay left her family, her former life, and set out to start a fresh, new life of her own.

Other:

Her favorite word: "Spontaneous."
Her favorite quote: "Oh, shut up and smile."

Reaper Profile:

Name:
Junsei "Kam" Hareishi (Obedient, live; sunny, will)

Gender:
Female

Age:
18

Rank:
Officer

Ability:
Kam has the ability to create small, emerald colored flames that resemble will-o-wisps Kam can control the flames at will, and the flames can range from a confined, warm flicker to a fiery blaze. Her will-o-wisps can also take the form of Noise. These ‘Noise’ are nothing but a mere ruse – they are not the real things, therefore their erasure is quite an easy task to accomplish. But Kam’s ability to summon stronger Noise with her will-o-wisps can create an overwhelming challenge for the Players; she has even been known to create ruse Noise similar to that of her Noise form.

Appearance: [ yay for headhsot... thingy? click! ]
Standing at 5'7 and weighing in at about 133 lbs, Kam is a slender female, but she still has muscle in her nonetheless. She has dark chocolate eyes and a fair skin complexion, which is not too pale, but not too peachy either. Obsidian colored hair stops midway down her back, with some strands flipped out in an upward fashion. Bangs fall from both side of her head, making it a bit hard to see her eyes at some angles. For clothes, Kam bears a black short cut, short-sleeved shirt that reaches a little more than half way down her torso. Underneath the shirt, Kam wears a plain white top that goes a bit farther downward than the black shirt and stops just a little below her navel. Over the black and white shirts, Kam bears a black and white sleeveless vest with a black hood. The vest reaches a little past the Kam’s waist and is always worn unzipped. A number of gray zippers are on the article of clothing (especially along the vest’s short sleeves and sides). She wears a black band on her right wrist and on her right forearm, and on her left arm she wears a black arm warmer and a black belt that is buckled tightly on her wrist. She dresses in tan pants that are unusually baggy and unkempt. A dark brown waist bag is kept around her hips at all times. Lightly tanned braces, which unite by buckles, loosely lace around her pants. The braces go in sort of a criss-cross fashion right until they stop near the knees. For shoes, Kam wears black high tops with a white bordered sole.

Noise Form:
Vulpus Cantus - Kam's Noise form is that of an emerald colored fox with golden eyes. The color of her belly is a bit of a moss green, but her front and hind legs have a darker shade of green. Emerald colored tattoos form the fox’s three large tails. Her front paws are also made up of green tattoos that swivel around her forepaws, making the tattoo designs look similar to green flames. The most distinct feature is her long claws, made from the same tattoos placed all on her body. While in this form, Kam can still summon ruse Noise and is still in control of her will-o-wisp ability. She also becomes more agile and cunning, and her long claws become useful for delivering stealthy blows to her opponent.

Her tails have a special purpose. In the event that Kam retrieves all of her nine tails, her Noise features change dramatically. In replacement of her green fur and tattoos, her coat becomes a creamy white and the tattoos inscribed on her body turn gold and red. A white mask that resembles the face of a fox takes up half of the Kam’s face, and the red skeletal tattoos designed on the cover makes it bear a strong resemblance to a kitsune mask. Several narrow sharp points resembling spikes protrude from the end of the mask in different directions. The red points stretch over Kam’s head and slightly curl inward at the tips. It’s unknown how her abilities advance when she reaches this form, or even if she has any abilities while in this state. It is hinted that while in this form, she can accomplish a special technique that involves a certain disc jockey. This technique has a high price on the disc jockey and on Kam’s part...

Personality:
Nonchalant, monotone, and quite sarcastic (when she wants to be), Kam is a Reaper that somewhat goes with the flow of things. She has an ever-present “dull face” that lingers of her features a majority of the time – an expression that resembles someone who is just down-right bored with life. Half-lidded eyes, lips forming into one fine line, brows furrowed ever so slightly – that's Kam’s "dull face." Most of the time it’s a wonder if the Reaper ever exhibits any other emotions besides ennui... much less if she even smiles. Her easy-going nature might even be described as laziness to some; at times she appears to care very little about erasing Players, as she would rather do her “own thing.” In most cases, Kam doesn't take things too seriously, and quite honestly, she loathes it when any situation requires her to get serious.

If Kam has an issue about something, she will reluctantly keep it to herself. However, if she feels there is something that truly needs to be said, she will not hesitate to speak what is on her mind. Brutally honest, she’s not the type of girl who will sugar coat anything. The female is shown to be quite mature for her age; she has low tolerance for naiveté and looks down on those who show signs of gullible or childish behavior. Kam is prone to getting annoyed quite easily (especially when she has to listen to whiny kids moan and groan about wanting their “second chance”), so if she really feels agitated enough (or if you’re just irritating her) she will insist you ‘go away’ or will send a warning glare in your direction. Despite some of these unappealing characteristics about the young woman, Kam is known to give and thoroughly show her respect to those whom she deems worthy, namely the higher ups. She's not the rebellious type, and she will obediently follow orders from those who are above her. There's only a select few that Kam tolerates, and when she's not trying so hard to be a downer, she can actually be quite sociable... to some extent. It's very hard to earn the girl's trust, so the few people she does trust happen to be pretty important to her. She even displays a few rare and uncommon traits when around acquaintances such as smiling, cracking jokes, or even laughing.

Bio:
Kam doesn’t let on much about her past. She feels as though looking back on what’s already happened is pointless, and so she faces forward, turning her back on the past life she had when in the Realground. If asked about her life back in the RG, she might mention how “frail and weak” she was back then, but nothing more. Kam didn’t always have a dull and apathetic outlook towards life; really, that side of her came to be when she was enlisted as a Reaper. But before her days as a Reaper, Kam participated in the Reapers’ Game. In the old days, Kam was a very shy, yet caring individual. During her days as a Player, she went by her true name, Junsei Hareishi (a name which she was slightly embarrassed by). A soft-spoken, quiet, fragile, yet clumsy girl, she always seemed to get flustered easily, especially when hanging around her partner, Gendou Kuromiya. The pair had gone through a lot in the Game, and during their time together the clumsy Player began to form a strong liking to her partner. It was a crush that she so desperately tried to keep hidden from the boy, for she feared of telling Gendou how she truly felt about him.

But as she progressed to her Reaper status, Junsei changed. She started to go by a new name, Kam, and her sincere and quiet attitude made a 180-degree turn. Becoming quite indifferent towards the Reapers' Game and almost everyone in it, her compassion towards others began to diminish. Soon, the once caring Junsei turned rather cold and apathetic towards almost anything and everyone. It’s unknown whether these bizarre changes are due to her high Reaper status… or something more.

Other:
- Kam has a sweet tooth; it’s almost rare to see her without a lollipop in her mouth.

Name: Kuzushiro "Shiro" Akeizu
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Partner: ?
Ability:
iSpray: Shiro, through his fingerless glove with a pin on it, summons a spray can, which he can use to temporarily repel Noise (as insect repellent would work on bugs) but is limited to a few sprays, and as he sprays, a sword is made that looks like grafitti. The sword will not work unless he attatches the spray can to the bottom of the sword's hilt. The sword varies in color, usually staying in the red area but changes colors for some reason, that Shiro has no idea of.

Pins:
[Pin 081] Masamune (Shockwave): Shiro comes in for a horizontal swipe and can keep on for a finishing blow that sends the enemy a distance away. Can be utilized through his iSpray of his hands.
[Pin 090] Shiro (Lance Lunge): Shiro uses Shiro (lawl) to come in a for a finishing thrust with his iSpray or fist.
[Pin 201] Fresh Line (Grave Marker): Shiro teleports above the enemy to come down for a slash
{Pin 240] Tin Pin Artist (Lightning Bolt): Shiro can use the iSpray to draw a path for the Lightning to follow or he can generate electricy based on where he wants it to go with more mastery. There are many ways to use this pin, but most of them are inaccurate.
[Pin OR1] iSpray: (see above)
[Pin OR2] Silver Lining (Ethereal Blast): Shiro, when in a critical situation can use this pin only once, which unleashes a large, multi-colored graffiti shock wave at an enemy, which deals extreme damage. Shiro cannot control this pin and this also breaks iSpray's usage for a while.

{More pins will come later. I was really trying not to use Lance Lunge but I practically HAD to.)

Appearance:
  • Physical Appearance: Kuzushiro has silver spiky hair that is forced down by his yellow and black cap. He has light blue eyes and wears a black choker around his neck. He dawns a silver and black cloak/hoodie that stops at his thigh. Underneath he wears a yellow and black long sleeved shirt along with bandages on his wrists and a fingerless glove on his right hand. He dawns a skull belt around his waist with a pair of yellow and black cherished headphones. He wears yellow and white baggy pants with black and yellow shoes.
  • Picture:
Nameless_TWEWY_character_by_AnonXei.jpg

Personality: Kuzushiro isnt what most would call 'normal'. His passion, drive, and will surpasses that of most. Though this doesnt make up for the fact that he is extremely energetic when need not be, and can be naiive and gullible. He has the capacity to become very serious and angry very quickly but has stated that he doesnt like it. He is an avid lover of music and even sometimes makes his own. HE can be caught repeating lyrics or instananeously with his headphones in his ears. He dreams of a peaceful world with no boundaries, no worries, and happiness, though he sometimes isnt as optimistic as he wishes to be. He is sometiems known to speak in slang.

Bio: Of African American, Latin, and Japanese descent Kuzushiro was born and raised in a slum near Shibuya, so it isnt a surprise he takes constant visits to the haven where he can escape his problems of domestic violence near where he lives. While he was younger he made some descisions he definitely wasn't proud of, and his parents were almost never around. Friends seemed few and far, but he always kept his head up, that was, until one day his past caught up to him. While coming out of the Shibuya parking lot, Shiro could hear the sound of something very very loud....

Other:

Is of African American, Latin, and Japanese descent.

Re: TWISTER [ sign ups/ooc thread ]

Name: Matsunaga Kanji

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Partner: ?

Ability: Black Fire - Through this power, Kanji creates the illusion of fire, though it is really a cold form of the substance. Freezing almost anything it touches, this is just a deadly power as any normal form of fire, and is the focus of all of his attacks.

Pins:
  • Black Sun Strike - Kanji channels black fire through his arm and releases it, creating a wave of energy that decimates an enemy. [Pin 245]
  • Kuroi Honoo Dageki (black flame strike) - Kanji moves towards the enemy, slashing the enemy with a concentrated strike of black flame. [Pin 084]
  • Cold Soda - (Soda) Used to heal Kanji (or his partner) for 50% health. (5 uses per battle) [Pin 147]
  • Cold Fire, Conditions Dire - Kanji creates a path of tall flame, that expands from the origin and inflicts damage on contact. [Pin 157]
  • Dark Risers - Three strong blasts of the black fire burst from the ground, causing enemies to fly in the air and inflicting heavy damage. [Pin 002]
  • Cold as Ice - Passive pin, increases the damage of all cold attacks (includes healing pins). [Pin 011, Pin 034, Pin 059, Pin 080, Pin 103, Pin 117, Pin 137, Pin 150, Pin 165, Pin 179, Pin 193, Pin 206, Pin 229]
[*]Black Step - In a flash of black fire, Kanji teleports, be it across the map or behind an enemy (this more of a dash than a teleportation).
[*]Strong Punch, Enemies Crunch - After teleporting behind an enemy, Kanji punches them, and releases his black flame, freezing the enemy, dealing damage and temporarily freezing the enemy.
[*]From Whence You Came - Kanji rushes forward with one arm extended, black fire surrounding it. This attack knocks back enemies.
[*]Black Rain - Kanji Summons up massive amounts of black fire, and rains it down upon his enemies (area of effect kinda deal).
[*]Frozen Magnum - Kanji launches a block if ice. Detonates when it strikes an enemy, shrapnel exploding out.

(pins colored white are just trashed ideas for now, but I'm loathe to delete them because I may make some changes)

Alignment: Players

Appearance: As much as I'd like him to carry around a giant cross, I can't say it would fit the RP :] (oh, and updated with clothing description, because nobody is going to get away with wearing that in Shibuya)
Kanji has a thin, yet well muscled body, perfectly exemplifying his swift, strong actions on the battlefield. Standing at 6'1", he weighs around 170 lbs., not a surprising weight for his physique. His crimson hair is shaggy, and though not long, it is long enough to cover his ice blue eyes. Kanji bears the record of his life as a child, many scars showing up from his various activities (including a scar received from chopping wood with an axe, and cutting himself in the leg after a missed chop). Is normally seen in a simple outfit of blue jeans and a blue-and-white striped long sleeve collared shirt (with the sleeves partially rolled up). Always has a white undershirt on, no matter what outfit he has decided to wear. Typically wears Nike's 'Forces' for his shoes.

Personality: Kanji's sarcasm can be a turnoff to some, but most accept this as a friendly form of support. Those who can't take a joke hardly get along with Kanji, seeing his sarcasm as rude and unnecessary. During times of battle, Kanji sheds this sarcastic appeal and becomes much more serious. He realizes that these are serious times, and knows that his jokes can often hurt more than help his teammate. In this state, Kanji is an encouraging teammate, and an all around morale booster. Though not the most tactical of personalities, his all out attack style often encourages teammates to follow suit. Loves to seek out noise for a quick battle, and would never shy away from a fight if not for his more level-headed teammates.

Bio: Kanji had little interaction with his parents as a child, as they both worked day in and day out to provide a future for their children. Due to this fact, Kanji grew up wandering around the city, never ceasing to be amazed by its diverse population. Kanji was well liked at school, and made friends rather easily, though only having a few truly close ones. Though he was a ladies man (heheh), Kanji was never one for shallow relationships, and never found a girl he truly wished to date. Kanji loved to spar with fists during his high school days, and would often be the center of fights (not for any personal disputes, but for the mere love of the sport). This guy loves the cold, and has been known to go outside in the middle of winter in shorts and a t-shirt.

Name: Raimyd Nisaga (Rai)

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Rank: Officer

Ability: Raimyd is able to alter his physical appearance so that he looks like another human. The process is draining, so he is at most going to be able to keep up a single form for about one whole day, or one mission, whichever comes to a finish first. He can only change what is physical, so his voice and other mental characteristics stay the same, meaning that this ability is more for show if anything. Also, in relatance to the kind of Noise Pins he controls, and his own Noise form, Raimyd can make himself levitate or hover for brief periods of time; though it can hardly be called flying. It could however, prevent him from being hurt after falling from high distances, and cushioning his fall.

Appearance: Standing at a fair 5'8'', Raimyd has a thin, lanky body, if not muscular slightly in his upper arms and thighs. He has long, messy blonde, brown-streaked hair that almost spikes up at the top, but looks flattened. It goes down to the back of his neck, and hangs over his forehead unevenly. With pale skin, his face is adorned with eyes that look a pale red, almost pink, similar to that of an albino's. Other than pale lips too, there isn't anything extraordinary, bar the usual stoic expression, save for a smirk at his own sadistic humor. He wears a long coat, going down to his ankles; it flows near the bottom, but is mostly tight on his torso. Patterned with a gray and tan camouflage design, it hangs open most of the time, revealing the tight black tank top and black jeans underneath. He keeps a small mirror in one of the pockets of his coat; a flat, shiny glass surface, very thin, and hexagon-shaped.

Noise Form: Ethos Cantus
Following the trend of Raimyd's mirror theme, Ethos Cantus is like a large bird, much like a parrot. His body is primarily the color of yellowish-gold feathers, his arms without them, up to his sharply clawed hands and feet. He has four wings in total, the largest pair right on his back. Each one is about twice his own size, and has long Noise designs on their creases and over the top edges. These large wings are wide enough that they can fold around Raimyd to protect him and execute some of his abilities. The other pair are essentially smaller versions of the larger, but are located on the back of his waist, which they are usually wrapped around. His head is of normal size, with now dark red eyes and black rings under them. The most notable feature is a large beak made of Noise tatoos that takes up the entire bottom half of his face, and curls around the back of his head. Finally, two long, curvy Noise tatoos go from his chest down to his waist, where they connect. While in this form, he is usually levitating, and has access to his usual Reaper abilities. His ability to change his physical form combines with the new, parrot-like ability in this form to mimic voices.

Personality: Raimyd is mostly reclusive, and seems to enjoy the company of others more for mocking them and using them for his own personal needs. In the case of the latter, he will use anyone he finds necessary to fulfill his goals, though he keeps a sense of respect for his superiors. There is a slight weakness in his sense of trust though, as he expects others to stay under his command rather than changing their minds, meaning he tends to be stuck under one impression of a person. He has a sadistic sense of humor, and finds humor in the faults and mistakes of others, and in his pursuit of using people, will even set them up for disappointment and falters. This makes him a contender for the Players, because he will mock them into their imminent erasure, making them lose hope, and think that they cannot change.

He also is known for having a slight obsession with his looks, and will frequently look at himself in the mirror he carries around. The same mirror is something he uses, like a device to further mock Players; showing them their own reflections and commenting on their ability to change themselves.

Bio: Raimyd has been a Reaper for over twenty years, dying in the early 80's. Despite doing well in his initial game, he found himself unworthy of coming back to life, and chose the path of becoming a Reaper, also thinking the lifestyle to be more exciting. Ever since, he rose throug the ranks, and his ability to erase Players by draining their willpower, weakening them to the point of surrender or erasure by Noise, has made him famous among Harrier and Support class Reapers, as well as slowly gaining the respect of his fellow Officers.

Other: Raimyd controls a personal family of Noise- Parrot Noise- medium sized bird Noise that flap around, using sound attacks to deafen Players and confuse them by mimicking the voices of others they know. Mental tactics aside, they're fairly weak, and fly pretty slowly.

^ Oh, and that's a good idea! Thank you, Lionheart. The more information we have, the merrier.

@ Izayoi: Oh geez, Rai seems like the kind of guy who enjoys screwing with the Players' minds. Scary.
Anyway, I see no problems from your profile, Izayoi, so you have my acceptance! <3 Now all we need is for EWS to check over the profiles and then you and Lionheart will be good to go.
