I just got to second visit to Traverse Town. Joshua just explained to Riku how the two worlds aren't parallel, but completely two different worlds, dreamt up by two different people (Sora and Riku).
This makes sense for Traverse Town, because we see the TWEWY characters are able to jump between each world. They can only be in one place at once, so they can only be in one of these worlds once.
The Disney Worlds are different though. The world's inhabitants are present in both worlds. Why isn't this the same for those living in Traverse Town? If there can be two Quasimodo's, why can't there be two Neku's, or two Joshua's?
Is this explained later on? Because if it isn't, it seems like a pretty big plot hole to me.
