Try continued swinging her keyblade at anything that moved, the horrible sounds her weapon left in it's wake accompanying the death of too many Heartless to count at this point. She reached for the neck of a neo-shadow, only for it to be drawn away from her. The same happened to all the Heartless until they were pulled together. It looked like someone's magic had backfired spectacularly. This battle was starting to look hopeless.

"Ha...haha..." A chuckle came from underneath her helmet, whether it was a nervous tick or genuine happiness wasn't clear. What was clear however, is that Try was sprinting straight towards the massive tower of Heartless.

"Kill it! KILL IT!" She screamed manically as she swung her keyblade, rending space at the base of the tower.

"Silent treatment? Thats fair." Sae slid his Alabaster from his shoulder and let his arm drift to neutral beside him.

Quieting his heart to a crawl, his ears perked. Initiating a scan trigged by a scar just above his right brow, a faint glow. There was a warmth he exudes that washed over in a radial, reaching upward and below as it expanded horizontally. The names were starting to come back to him, these...were also resolutes? Shiki he knew by name, his support if you could call it that, served his memory tried and true. The desolation wrought by the constant fighting was nothing short of a war being waged for their very lives, one in which the scarred needn't worry. Trust.

One of them was hooded, clad in black, holding an all too familiar set of keyblades. The master's and the other, only in recent memory, belonged to Eth. Suspicion that dissipated with a possible thought that Eth didn't require it? He'd delivered on sending him to Shiki, perhaps this too was his will at work. Sae gave a short sigh, they were starting to tighten up into a circle, a woman using multiple orbs, another woman with what appeared to be summoned creatures, a derranged in appearance gentleman baring a masking and a malevolent glow and avatar behind him. Lets not forget Helmet...what was her name, she seemed to be edging beyond normal here.

'Good to know' Sae thought, he completed his scan and the names were still so far away, but the faces he definitely remembered from that time.

The hooded one made a comment about there being seven resolutes all in the same setting, that screamed confirmation, there was no longer any more room to doubt his possession of Eth and the master's keyblades, he was an ally. His actions gave them another problem, but perhaps it was the heartless own resourcefulness that proved to be their undoing. As they quickly formed in a massive spiraling demon tower, Sae broke from the circle and swiped once on the horizontal.

CLANG!

He's stopped Helmet's rampage, feeling the tattering and ripping being imposed against his physical body, crossing him with several lacerations across his cape and hood he'd been wearing.

"I appreciate your brute force, but you can't fell this one strength alone." He said with a smile releasing her keyblade from the hilt of his. "Let me and Shiki deal with it. Theres bigger ones on their way, see them heading for the building?"

Sae redirected the red-suit helmet woman towards the building, his eyes made quick work of multiple Dark Hides running towards the dorms from the west. In his attempt to be a mediator, he was swallowed up into the vortex of heartless and carried along into the upper atmosphere. Saebyeolbe cut once across to free his legs and he entered free fall again from high up. Sae sighed and clutched a scar on the inside of his palm and began to glide on a descending angle.

The heartless began to siphon the shadows and neoshadows off the field and they fluctuated hopelessly towards the moving demon tower creating a mass much much greater than what you'd find on even a harrowed end. As Saebyeolbe fell, what felt like in slow motion, he looked at his closed fist, and saw the vortex swirl into a massive moving ball and he was a mere atom in comparison.

"Ready...Shiki?" He uttered as he released a breath and crushed his fist sparking what appeared to be a multi-layered barrier floating in the air, and suddenly he touched a surface. A giant ellipse, closed, trapping the hurricane of moving heartless, inside with a single resolute peering into the heart of the predators eyes. There was a bit of a loose grip on his Alabaster, the field didn't have anymore shadows dune-marching about, they were condense here.

"Time to release the light..." Sae smiled and raised his Alabaster to the sky and took an aggressive stance. The movement of the extremely powerful Demon Tower came faster than anticipated. He spun the blade, side stepped and swung with a force the rend the air into a thundering boom and cracking sound that exploded like a mini combustion. The hole quickly repaired itself on the vortex and Sae's brow trembled.

"Well...thats comforting to know, it regenerates...a challenge is always fine I suppose."

Stepping on the back foot, he released light from behind him and exhaling softly. He transfered a scar to the keyblade and it blazed with a powerful light of a spell. "Crawling fire. Triple Firaga." A swipe of the keyblade throwing the first, and his hand threw the second spell. The heartless punched through bleeding with shadows and swarmed on the top of Sae as he lept to the side and the heartless stampeded towards him as he retreated to the far side of the barrier, eyeballing the exposed core.

"There!" he jumped high, but was snatched with the flailing kick of a neoshadow acting like a boomerang to to knock him back from the core. "Ok...didn't expect that."

"Ooook, that didn't go as planned! Any other ideas??

"Kill it! KILL IT!"

This truly is hell, isn’t it?
Jay mused to himself. He wondered if vaguely they’d always had this dynamic. A dismissive glance at the heartless, he called his keyblade back before he tossed it again in a vague boomerang maneuver.

The wolves had moved away to attack the Heartless. He appreciated it, although the look of the spiny vortex thing was something new but meh, same stick same freaking day.

Lost Paradise remateralized in his hand. Taking a couple of steps forward, Jay snarked, “We could abandon this world to die, although I don’t think that’s what the Master would’ve wanted. Or we can kill these things. Either way I don’t feel like dying here.”

The vortex of heartless lashed out, Jay rolled out of the way. His keyblade struck, sending wisps of darkness into the air. When he stepped back, Try went at it again only to be stopped by another Resolve. He backed up again, eyeing them cautiously as he listened to the comments. Okay, fine. Let's see how this goes. Jay thought, and he was a little impressed with what the newest Resolute was doing.

Until they got thrown.

Smacking his forehead, Jay muttered under his breath, "Idiots. We're all idiots, what was the Master thinking choosing us?" He shook his head, before focusing on the writhing mass before him. Analyzing it, he saw the core within it and the way it grew larger with each new heartless added. It also grew more and more aggressive.....

Wait, could we use the aggression to our advantage? Jay wondered silently, glancing to the new Resolute he asked, "Hey, can you try that again? You," he pointed to Luxu and continued, "Use some gravity magic or something on it. Or a stop spell preferably. Recia, do you have any tricks up your sleeve that'd work for a good combo?" Even as Jay asked, the wolves attacked the mass of heartless.

If they could work together, than maybe they'd survive. Right?

Eth dwindled his thumbs and he smiled. Those are definitely cat ears. The thought crossed him like traversal of water, it was flexible and uninterrupted. "Kambria..." he said with a sudden show of emotion that lasted a split second.

"I didn't see anything." he shrugged "It is Eth, my mother named me after a special character which is pronounced Eth and to answer your query I am the number zero."

He motioned from the bench and threw his hands overhead to stretch, Dusklanzer in hand. "Look. I'll be brief Kambria. We're resolutes, that we know definitively. I appreciate your help in liberating me from the realm of darkness, but as of this moment I must continue alone."

He dismissed his dusklanzer ands tarted to walk forward towards the edge of the meridian and looked towards the sun. A small light hovered around him, the form of a ball, releasing a "Pahh" sound. Freya in the form of pure light, fitting his own flesh and blood could read his thoughts, Eth didn't want Kambria to know...of their real relationship. Reyzel did a good job with their daughter in both of their absences and now was the time to move on.

There was a break of power that rippled through the sky. Eth's surge of emotion shifted his disposition slightly as a portal was forming in front of them giving them a clear depiction of what looked (to Eth's returned memory) to be The Dorms. What the hell...Luxu...! What are you planning??

"Your choice Kambria. Hang out here with the locals or wherever this strange portal leads. I have other more pressing matters to take care of."

There was a flicker of light in his eye and within an instant the horizon became filled with blades of lights, countless in number. "Resolutes. My parting gift for your struggle." He plugged the portal with a thunderstorm of light-based blades. His body slowly started to defragment into light and vanished from the world leaving with his small ball of light, and the blades to storm through the portal til the very last particle of Eth had vanished from the world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Komaeda released a loud howl.
"Oh how the darkness, wretched filth isn't fit to tread on lands in the realm of light. Disgusting."
He'd bet it all and use Loki to amplify is luck to it's paramount limits. Raising a hand to a sky, "SCATTER THEIR BONES INTO THE SPACE! RIFT!"
Komaeda screamed at the top of his lungs and Loki ejected from him and flew towards the sky doing a self-destruct. It transposed into a portal of sorts and as luck would have it it, the opposite side overlooked a world. Blades of light came flooding out of the portal as if his timing were dead on. "LUCKY ME!"
As the portal expanded the blades poured onto the battlefield like a complete scourge eviscerating the heartless that approached the dormitories and proceeding to absorb into the barrier containing one of the two new arrivals and they passed through, rather were absorbed into the barrier, and splintered into much sharper and stronger fragments of blades bouncing off the surfaces slicing through the demon tower. Unfortunately his luck wasn't enough to completely snuff out every enemy on the battlefield, as the atmosphere above possessed world sized dark sides (similar to traverse town) that still looked down.
The rift from Loki's suicide still lingered a while longer but Komaeda had effectively exhausted the use of his resolve and no sooner did the blades stop did he unwittingly pass forward unconscious being consumed in a small ball of light no different than the first time Iontis knocked him unconscious. The only difference here is that his bad luck would also become inactive as all remaining strength went into this defensive position of his resolve. He floated in place asleep, exhausted, and with a menacing smile of sorts.
~~~~~~~~~~~

The game board had gotten massively reduced on one side of aggression. The master sat there just reveling in the cunning two resolutes completely unaware that they were helping each other. Betting it all on his luck, Komaeda pooled a rift that extended a bridge to the world that Eth, Iontis, and Midna were inhabiting. With no guarantee that any of them would respond in kind, his chance made that into reality. The board was shaking rigorously as the formless competitor here at the end of time was not pleased.

"Upset? Should be, for underestimating my hand picked team. You like that combination attack don't ya eh?"

Laugh it up young Master, we'll see to it that your traitor is never revealed and all your worlds will be crushed by darkness.

The master sighed. "I won't fault you for your lack of imagination, but I trust those kids. They'll succeed this time."

For his next move he'd advanced yet another piece, one that had gone quiet and reserved this entire time. The liar among them naturally something had to be done about withholding the truth from the team. Luxu would be there to badger the truth while giving them some manner of direction.

Holding to what composure I had, my suspicions were placed at ease. I rolled my eyes ever so briefly as I'd adjusted my hat's placement on my head. So his name was indeed Eth and he was Zero? I briefly thought about the roman numeral tattoo "X" on my upper right thigh. This bothered me, that number didn't have a roman numeral...so where was his and what did it look like?

He seemed awfully distant, then again he was a lot more vulnerable from what I saw when we kept dropping further down. Something about Eth was familiar to me, and I honestly couldn't tell you what it was. That strange memory, multiple others and their faces...other resolutes. The sheer brilliance of light filled the wide open complex as Eth was generating not darkness...but light (this time?). The pressure created didn't feel like it came out of despair or even desperation, it felt like resolve, his resolve? I'd asked to see it before, but it seemed improbable in the realm of darkness...if it was light per say, that would explain why?

An indefinite number of light swords forged as a portal burrowed through the overlook directly in front of us. I was a merchant, as well as a traveling one, and I have to admit even I didn't expect what I saw. This giant portal stretched out in front of both Eth and I, it gave me pause, my stomach turned seeing armies of heartless stacked on top of each other. A massive barrier, a dormitory, and several of those other faces.

Wait a second, are those...!

I was glowing, my eyes flickered red and I knew that if I counted right, there were others there from my memory. Resolutes. My knees were weak on the bench as I bit my lip briefly and balled my fist watching Eth send every single blade through the portal. He'd called it a gift for the resolutes, as if he knew them too, intending to help them from here before he made the conscious decision to leave? Again?

I didn't really understand it but I started running. I was running towards Eth in this strange way as the blades began to move and he started to dissipate. Was I worried about being left in the dust...? Was I worried about him, that was possible. It didn't seem fair for us to be...for lack of a better word, apart? It felt way too slow, my pace was not quick at all, and I'd brought my hands together and began to reach for him. I felt the wind from the blades brush past me, they were all nearly gone as was Eth. A short stop, catching the air I stopped in my tracks, he was already gone.

I faced the portal and looked on seeing a myriad of many different explosions they staggered across the landscape silencing most everything moving within sight. I just looked a while longer before the portal began to shrink and Cedo remained in my hand, armed. I wasn't needed, but I had a sneaking suspicion there was someone else here of grave importance.

"Iontis...so where are you..?"

---------------

I briefly looked at Jay and shook my head with a sigh.

"Do I look like a spellcaster?" I said almost annoyed in the middle of everything going haywire.

Luxu had really made a mess of things, in between the stark and stall of the invaders of darkness I couldn't help but notice that two more people fell from the sky. They took travel on what appeared to be a vehicle of sorts, nothing I'd ever seen before, clad in armor. Neither of them had a...well, a presence that felt threatening. The male, was from the vision, I could barely make out his face behind the hood, but he had silver hair and gray eyes, he was definitely the one that defeated Try in a previous memory?

I've known you for so short a time but even I can tell Try was more for the charge. Her aggression caught the attention of one of the two that arrived and he stopped her in a fashion I found incredibly reckless, but I was astonished. To sustain the damage and absorb both sets of impacts and to remain largely ok, his clothing and armor tearing from being flattened but pushing back was a sight I could not unsee.

There was a short smile, for however brief it was, I remembered my responsibility in the matter. This lingering remnant, was among those I was delegated to protect and quite honestly, I was deathly afraid. In all of this anxiety and uncertainty, these people were all fighting, we had even more reason to be suspicious of each other now more than ever as we've "met" but on terms none of us remember. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but maybe, just maybe I would consider trusting them. In my defense...it was less stressful to do it alone and I found a small solace in Try, in Jay, even in the maniac Komaeda.

"The Dark hides rushing the castle we should--"

My train of thought stopped when the two strangers decided to act as a co-vert unit. Training this hurricane of heartless and isolating it in a form of containment barrier high above our heads. I though him insane for such a trap and the other woman even more for reinforcing the cage he created for himself and a small army that was the abnormally sized demon tower. I rolled my eyes, my anxiety shook with worry that I pushed down.

"Just don't die you idiot, I don't even know your name yet."

Komaeda's loud and obnoxious laughing as he sent that visceral looking All Series into the sky set to explode creating what looked like a tear between dimensions, a portal that escorted and splintered if not breaking and sharpening blades of light. He hijacked something right before our eyes, and the blades scattered in every direction, even punching through the giant barrier and pelting the demon tower, but wouldn't the stranger get hurt as well? I want to burst and say that he was crazy, but he'd expended his resolve peak in the all series and proceeded to fall unconscious. My teeth grit, I scowled really hard, what a nuisance he was, but he'd done good just this once. My eyes had averted Luxu was sitting on the hill and the other woman had approached him. Thats right, he owed us answers, he owed an explanation as to what this place was, why we were even here in the first place, and a list I was rapidly crafting in the back of my mind.

A dark hide loomed over him as the other woman protested, my third orb, Gris, instantly petrified the beast as a stone statue as Luxu quivered in place.

"I think we've waited long enough for you to give us the full story Luxu. The only thing left here are the darksides in the sky, but they can't be destroyed...can they, not under normal circumstances." I cut my eye at the other woman just making an observation here and there.

"When traverse town fell, the same heartless of scale and size overtook the world when Try accidentally revealed the keyhole. Her guess was sealing it would vanquish them from the world...but they're already sealed and the worlds are still getting overrun as if they weren't. So whats the real story?"

I waited patiently for him to give me a fitting response. In this situation, we couldn't half step this anymore, this kind of darkness wasn't just we clear out the hordes, there had to be something to push them back and that thought came back. 'The Blades of Li...hmmm'

Truth
Silky Dark blue and menacing black scaled and melded seamlessly to her form. The steely folds of the Keyblade Armor felt like home. It was, after all, a second skin to Shiki. Natural. Fitting. Lethal. Its narrow silhouette seemed almost ribbony, frictionless. Its movements too smooth and robust, unrestrained by the shackles of gravity. Along its sleek lines and at the edges, feathers and stars embellished it softly. Sparingly. It was graceful. It was subtle. But even it called its own ghosts. Things… Things Shiki wished she didn’t remember.

"We'll go together." Sae announced. He was on his vehicle, clad in his own Keyblade armor, peering at the opened path.

The edges of the summoned road flared in a kaleidoscope of shimmering lights against the visor of her helmet. A brilliancy of light and unknown. Whispers slipped through her thoughts, trickled between her breaths. Foreign memories and sensations spread through her, a river gushing through her consciousness. Too many voices, calling, wanting to take form in her. Shiki tried not to stray after them, or else she might lose her own voice in the cacophony. She wrapped herself tighter in her own silence; wound it through her very heart, coiled it in her thoughts. Still, she could feel the world at the other side. Like a long invisible chain tied her to it. It tugged, calling, pulling. She could feel the waning rays of its sun, its mild winds brushing past her cheeks. If she closed her eyes, she would have opened them there. Beneath it all, she could hear a subtle note, smothered beneath the crescendo of sensations. An all too familiar beat, arresting and vast, a tune born in the abyss and commanding despair. And it called to her.
"They're calling to us Shiki...something awful is happening, I can just feel it." Her fingers clenched into a fist.

Something. Something was rising and pouring through. Stretching against the world, lining and placing the odds against them.
Not for long.” She uttered as she mounted the vehicle behind him.

For The Reunion
They landed in a battlefield.

Heartless poured like rivers, spawning where the dust of those vanquished settled. Wherever they looked, shadows and darkness tainted their sight. An endless sea of death spreading. A tidal wave building up to swallow them all. Only their tight circle of resistance held anything at bay, and even it shrunk as the pressure mounted. Infinite numbers trumped whatever indomitable will or strength they possessed. The eventual shortcomings of being human and …Alive.

Her feet touched the land softly, barely stirring the blades of grass. Shiki let go of Sae’s grasp, her slight nod a quick thanks for the swift and considerate landing, but she had eyes only for the battlefield. There was a low and violent thrumming building in her bones, a beat flowing betwixt the rushing of heartless, sliding unseen through their blind instinct. An insistent urging, pushing, guiding. Only in the silence could she feel it. In the cacophony, in the storm, in life, no one would know. She had only realized its existence when her own darkness swallowed her. So subtle, yet so… vast. If she let got, it would swallow her too. She would become part of the whole, another link in the chain. A drop in the ocean. Breathe, she reminded herself, just breathe.

In the distance, vanishing in a cloud of dark mist, Jotun was dismissed. Shiki was slightly surprised to see Luxu’s giant avatar here. She did not expect to see him. Not for a while. He who watched in the shadows came out in the Light to play. This only meant that the time was soon. Perhaps too soon.

A barrage of silver shots zipped to her far left. Noct et diem, circled their keeper devotionally like a weary guard, a third sphere lingering in between them unleashing a harmonious waltz of deadly shots. Already she was tapping into her real potential. Lucrecia’s brow was furrowed with utter focus as she obliterated anything that dared step in her zone. You won’t have to wait for long now, Recia. Soon. Soon she would fully realize it.

Ahead of her, the sea of darkness was smeared by a blind frenzy of streaking red. Ravenous almost, Try was bringing devastation with every slash and swing from her keyblade. Her fragile mental state served only in heightening her resolve. Her violence, her pain were shearing the very space they hit, obliterating whatever was caught within it. Her rage echoed off Shiki like a gust of wind that threatened to unroot her. An endless echo caught in its own loop. She heard it as loud as the first time she had seen it. Only now she couldn’t soothe it. Not here, in the heat of the battel. Try probably would not even remember her…

Aiding them around the perimeter were a bunch of mystical wolves led by Jay, whatever Recia or Try were not hitting, her wolves got to tear apart. To their right, Komaeda was grinning with wild excitement. His deranged delight fueling his attacks, magnifying his play of luck and misfortune as he governed their moves. His avatar Loki was already out, Mayhem struck where it pleased causing Tornados and lightning, quakes and sudden rains and many other misfortunes that swamped his field of attacks. Ill luck befell anything within his sight of resolve. He was in his element, and he had the space that best suited him when his power was in full swing. But even against all of that, their circle was narrowing. Too much against even this amount of raw light.

Sae said something to her, but she didn’t catch it. A familiar keyblade just graced their battlefield. Shiki’s gaze widened behind her visor. Why did Luxu have Eth’s keyblade?

"Seven, count them, seven resolutes all in one place. Welcome home, aren't you glad you came back?" He chanted, and then cast a spell. A Dark orb rose among the sea of heartless and like a magnet started to suck and siphon them. Dark hides, neo shadows, mere shadows, invisibles, dark balls, any and every heartless on the ground was infallibly and mercilessly pulled into the spell.

Luxu!

"Ooook, that didn't go as planned! Any other ideas?” he stepped back, hand under his chin as if he had just busted a lab experiment and was wondering where he went wrong.
She cursed silently, as the amassing heartless merged and converged into one huge demon tower. It grew in size absorbing any shadow or heartless, grew so monstrously big that it rendered them all nothing but specks of dust, menial annoyances to its enormity. In its chaotic trample it swallowed even Sae in its midst. To her right, newer waves of heartless started sprouting. Dark hides and dark sides jumped from the dark realm and into their world. So many in such a little amount of time. Large numbers of them coalesced their attacks at the dorms, threatening to bring the whole thing down under their endless swarming. Well, great.

A neo shadow jumped from her right.

There was a sudden blur of darkness, a fleeting arc of light that pierced the heartless and it exploded into dust.

Shiki swung memento mori to her left and a leaping shadow was cleaved in two. She ducked through a slash from an invisible and sent the point of her keyblade with a forceful stab at the heartless’s abdomen. It went cleanly through its hollow chest before it withered into dark dust. She became a whirl of flashing steel and menacing strength. Flecks of light danced around her wrists. They followed her as she waltzed through the heartless’ attacks, flocking to her arms. Gathering. A dark hide charged at her with a maw of glistening teeth. She paused, did not move until at the last moment she slid sideways, momento mori sighing through the beastly heartless with barely any resistance. It took a couple of steps into its raging rampage, wobbled and sunk into a cloud of dark dust. An invisible swung at her back with ferocious speed, she bent back incredibly low to the ground, so low her helmet almost touched the grass, and in one sinuous motion sprung back and unfurled a storm of slashes. The invisible retaliated but its swing was too weak as it exploded into another cloud of darkness to join the rest. The light brightened at her arms as it converged into glowing threads, all the while Shiki cut through the unrelenting flood of heartless, smooth as silk, faster than lightning.

Suddenly she stopped. She was halfway between the dorms and the rampaging demon tower. Memento mori was dismissed in a shower of feathers before Lumen Incantare fully formed to her call. Hovering around her wrists were twin bracelets of woven chains. The chains shone with a soft golden glow. She extended her right arm and three streaks of light pivoted from her hovering bracelets towards the dorms. The chains clinked with distant voices as they circled the perimeter of the dorms and intertwined into each other, where they passed a transparent orb rose until it eclipsed the whole building. The erected barrier was barely visible, but whenever a heartless tried to pass it, it would be seared out of existence with the intensity of the barrier’s light. The chains remained connected to Shiki at will, so she would be able to continuously mend and reinforce the shield whenever it needed it, taxing as that might be.

Sae had managed to free himself from the Demon tower’s chocking mass only to fall from the incredible height the tower reached. His lone figure soared down in free fall, but Shiki was already at the move.

"Ready...Shiki?" he uttered.

Go!

She extended her left hand and seven thick chains shot from her wrist, streaks of golden light against the darkening sky. Sae released his own resolve. Even from where she stood, Shiki saw his scar glow with brilliance. A spherical prison quickly took shape around him, trapping him and the huge demon tower inside. Her chains joined with his elliptical prison, they circled and fastened their links to its form, their potency rendering it unbreakable, their Light joining Sae’s own. Shiki murmured a spell of hastera along the length of the seven chains connected to her wrists, and they shone further as the spell reached Sae.

A few straggling heartless turned their attention towards her.

Right, there’s still you.” She recalled memento mori to her grip, and forged through them. The length of her chains adjusting to her motion, so they would not hamper her movement or take away from the protection she’s providing to her allies.

"Resolutes. My parting gift for your struggle."

Eth? She whipped her head to the right looking for him just as countless blades of light hurled past her and towards the sky. Vortexs of darkness started forming, and from within them Dark sides peered.

"Oh how the darkness, wretched filth isn't fit to tread on lands in the realm of light. Disgusting." Komaeda’s avatar, Loki reformed again. It jumped following the blades of light towards the spherical prison that Sae had created. The moment they reached the sphere, Loki blew up in a powerful ball of light. The strength of the explosion sent a shockwave around it that managed to even break Eth’s light swords into sharp shards that hurled and bounced within the light prison slicing through the Demon tower.

Komaeda, You maniac.” But he was already exhausted, and had regressed into his sleep to regain his strength, his cocoon of light floating a couple of feet to her right. Even if they managed to vanquish the Demon tower, it was useless when more heartless would sprout anyways. Things stronger and far more vicious. No. It was time they ended things right.

Luxu,

She found him on a nearby hill, close to where Lucrecia, Jay and Try were fending off the hordes of dark hides and dark balls spawning near the dorms.

Enough with the games. We need to end this.” Her voice was calm. Controlled but beneath it lingered her urgency. He knew how much she wanted to save this world. He, of all of them, understood that this was a perfect chance to do what had to be done.

Now.

Before it is too late. Before I…

Try appeared to be stunned by the sudden confrontation with... Something she couldn't cut? Strange, things usually didn't survive a swing from her keyblade, this keyblade anyhow. What was this keyblade anyway? Her mind seemed to dull, the rage subsiding like a drug leaving her system. She stared at the blade, but just like her face it's true form was obscured. It looked like nothing, yet everything all at once. The blade suddenly vanished from her hand, and she could feel that calling it back willingly would be impossible.

She raised her head to look at the one that had stopped her. "Ah, he's flying." She commented as he was blown away by the vortex of darkness. Now that she looked around there seemed to be more unfamiliar faces. Unfamiliar? That wasn't quite right, she knew them didn't she?

A Dark Hide charged towards her, she bent backwards to avoid a swipe of it's claw. She grabbed it's leg. "Well if you want to give this to me so badly..." She ripped the leg from the beast's body then slammed it into it's own face. It was gone in the next moment.

She let out a sigh, it seemed her rampage had been a tad too cathartic, in the midst of this nightmare she felt downright relaxed. "Hmm..." She let out a hum and looked around. Weren't things pretty hopeless right now? Finding a traitor seemed pointless when everything was moments away from oblivion. "Ahh..." She rubbed the crack in her helmet, when did that happen?

The voice of a woman grabbed her attention. Luxu? She wanted him to end this? "Yeah!" Try yelled out. "This is getting boring, where's the food, the drinks? Booo!"

The lights that shown through were stunning.

The sky darkened, pools of darkness introducing more enemies billowing from the darksides they'd seen on their descent upon the world. Those terrible monstrosities were what Sae would go after next following felling this hurricane of a demon-tower. His eyes narrowed, flicking his chest where the neo-shadow deflected him from before. Releasing a brief sigh he traced his body, there was a flicker.

"I CAN CONTROL THEM ALL YOU FOOL!"

The blaring sound of Trace screaming from the pits of his heart. Dwellers of the darkness could be pulled to your side...? No, that was not the way of the resolute. But if that were possible...survivors wouldn't have to suffer as he did in their place. A radical question to rattle the resolute. Ever the stalwart he placed his Alabaster into the bottom of the barrier to stand and felt his arms for a fitting scar to use.

A loud howl was heard from below, it alarmed him to see a small explosion rattle the barrier high above the battlefield. Sae shook as the sky cracked and a hole appeared introducing a bridge to another world, in direct visage he could see a golden palleted town, with hazel brick and cobble stones. Who else was standing on the other side of it.

"Eth?" Saebyeolbe said doing a full turn this time as the heartless swirled upward preparing for a full body strike.

"Resolutes. My parting gift for your struggle."

Voices punched through, a wild laugh from the floor as blades of light surfed through the window of a portal sharpening and being escalated by the resolute on the ground. They were feverishly slamming into the barrier, half merged and blades flooded within burrowing past the demon tower as it wailed with splatters and explosions. Those swords bouncing off the surface multiple times and there Sae stood, midst the middle of it.

He took a knee and raised his arms hiding behind his Alabaster firmly slated in the floor. The ricochet of eth's light was beating down on his armor so fast it was pointless to attempt to move wildly. The light spark with thwacks and tats, tearing off parts of the steel as the impacts carried a sensation of heat that kneaded the metal and a physical weight that slammed against it. He was slowly being undressed by the light until the barrier came down and the blades stroked against several different parts of his flesh, abdomen, and legs.

"He just...hijacked Eth's light and nearly-"

With a lazy eye, he'd nearly missed the slow moving fist from one of the darksides hovering outside the atmosphere. His Alabaster flailing just to his left he threw the weight of his body over to grip with his right hand and struck it with the momentum of his turn and fall speed, to repel the fit, but deflect him almost immediately to the grassy field, near the hill below. His back was the first thing to hit the ground, his armor destroyed left with nothing by blade cuts from the navy blue chainmail that covered his torso and mid-thighs. He was shaking from the immense amount of physical trauma his body had to weather.

'Damnit...it's too early to draw blood, but thats terrifying...'

To his right Luxu at there with a plucked flower, Shiki approached with urgency and a mood not fit for dilly dallying. Helmet as well as another, with the maniac floating in a ball just to the right of the Luxu, or at least that what he overheard Shiki refer to him as. It occurred to him then that she knew him by name, Sae couldn't remember really anyone but her and these others that were collected here, were all from the same memory? Yet he didn't remember any names specifically. He got beside himself and slowly inched himself to his feet, his legs trembling, perhaps it was a bad idea to stop helmet, eat an attack meant that hit both him and the demon tower and deflect the darkside's physical attack meant for the dormitory. Holding his arm he finally spoke aloud.

"If you've got any suggestions Luxu, theres no time like the present." he proceeded to turn the others that were still conscious. "I don't know where I am, or who the rest of you are, but it's Saebyeolbe. Just Sae, I'm Number 1. The Scarred, I'd normally invite you all to tea but we're in the middle of a crisis at the moment, just know that you have an ally."

He looked at the woman with the helmet dead on and commented. "I remember you Helmet. Your form is still as sloppy as I can briefly remember."

There was only death on this battlefield. Good ol' Ethy coming in clutch thanks to that damned Komaeda's All's End getting the job done. You'd think they were fighting for their right to exist or something? One would assume it was almost as if the world was on the very edge of extinction.

It was.

Luxu held the lone dandelion in his hand and strummed it with a flick just back and forth in his hand as the dark side swatted away Saebyeolbe not before getting deflected itself. His physical strength was as absurd as he remembered, cratering just to his right, dockside slumped in the grass. Headstrong idiots were going to reel from that reckless abandon and Luxu would scorn them.

"So demanding." he said to Shiki who prose to yell at him. "If you want an out so bad, how about you share with the class, don't think it's fair to get special privileges when sniveling backstabbers hiding in plain sight. As if!"

He snapped the dandelion in two and dropped both pieces of the flower to dual wield the Ethernal and The Gazing Eye.

"You want a straight answer yeah? Just kill those world enders up there. Thats literally all you have to do to stop the darkness. Only problem is, it takes some serious firepower to do it. You think I wouldn't have sniped them outta the sky if I had that kind of oomph?" Luxu shrugged, "I don't have the right answer, but I do know those things are why the darkness never stops until a world becomes a harrowed end."

His boots turned and his hood tilted up towards the sky.

"All you gotta do is trust each other, and it will become clear."

The Gazing eye vanished from his hand as he gripped Ethernal with both hands and held his keyblade to point directly towards the floor. A circle was starting to form underneath him and spreading to the other resolutes, physically moving them into a bracket of the ring that was being created. A seven pronged transmutation circle each resonating with the Resolute's respective number/Tattoo.

OCC: We interrupt this post for an important announcement incoming in three, two, one...NOPE!

IC:

"Oh. I lied." Luxu started to laugh as the circle encroached turning into what looked like glass walls within the circle. The surface below their feet, was starting to illuminate.

"Clearly you idiots don't know how to listen to what the master told you, as if. Looks like you failed AGAIN Lucrecia. I'm disappointed in you the most. Now get out of my sight...all of you."

Luxu stepped outside of the ring, and snapped the index and thumb of his open palm, billowing portals of darkness and proceeded to eject the six of them into portals of darkness. One by one, clock wise stalling on sending Shiki last.

"Not a word and not a whisper. We don't need any unnecessary snitching, as if."

Luxu proceeded to cast her out along with the other into a split portal. Much like Eth before, each of them were sent one way trip to a place where the light no longer touched. Shiki and Lucrecia to the Realm of Darkness, Saebyeolbe and Jay to The Dark Margin (lowest possible level of the RoD) and he sent Try and Komaeda to Twilight Town.

"Trust? As if, all it does it jeopardize you in the end. Hah, better wise up quick you brats." Luxu said looking up at the portals of darkness he conjured dissolving and Komaeda's much larger one disseminating with a single fleck of light coming through, and falling towards the ground.

"Oh?" he placed Ethernal over his shoulder. "Arrived a little too late. This place is about to go under, came to pay your respects?"

Sending out my soul to worlds more beautiful
~- Wait, WHAT!?!?!? -~

Jay blinked, and next thing she knew she wasn't where she'd last been. She remember Luxu scolding them, they'd been fighting heartless and he decided to punish them. Looking out at the dark ocean, she grabbed a rock and threw it, a howl of rage clawing itself free. Whipping around, she saw one of the Resolute she just met, huffing angrily, her keyblade manifested in her hand. "You know, I'm of half the mind to find Luxu and the Master, knock their heads together and maybe strangle them. Who do they think they are yanking our chains like this!"

She kicked at the sandy beach, her blood boiling as she listened to the lapping of waves. Normally being on a beach at night would calm her, but currently all it did was infuriate her due to recent events. She was halfway serious, she did want to smack the Master and strangle Luxu, but she knew right now was not the time to be doing that. no matter how good it sounded. Looking at the Resolute before her, Jay brushed a random strand of her out of her eyes. "So, let's be honest, I don't remember you. I don't truly trust you, but I will if it means we both survive." Jay grumbled, her voice clipped.

Man she was being a chatter box, but it was an effort to distract herself. She wondered if Recia was okay, but more than that she wondered how many worlds were falling and how many had the gigantic Darksides on them. She did wonder what Luxu meant by this happening again, had they'd all done something horrible so that's why their memories were erased? If so, why did only Luxu remember?

Again, make sure to strangle Luxu when you see him again. Jay grumbled internally, her eyes flashing. Shaking her head, she turned her back on Sae (is that what was said, she couldn't remember) and headed to the edge of the water. Nothing seemed out of place or dangerous, but that didn't mean it wasn't. Grabbing another stone, she threw it into the deepend and contemplated how to get out of this place since she doubted a portal would work right away.

Chapter 4
The Broken Sinners

The master sat back in his chair, Luxu was thorough he'd give him that. It never even flashed in his mind for a moment to doubt the trust he embedded in that sweet kid. Of course the word was law, a pact was a pact after all, thats what it means when you take on the number, nothing was more important than conviction coinciding along with obedience to it. His command was simple, you were to think twice before you imbued your trust in another. In the same token Eth, Saebyeolbe, Shiki, Try, and Lucrecia where the only ones informed of the existence of a traitor, the rest were oblivious to the very idea. And would you have guessed four of those that knew of the traitor would appear on the world at the same time?

The master shook his head.

"The dorms was a necessary sacrifice. With that world going under, theres no longer any chance they will recover any more memories, thats not what this is about." he said to the disembodied figure. "This is about being committed to the task given to them, and the other radical ability to change the path of the sinners. Lucky for me, Luxu separated them, inducing the stress ten-fold and reminding them of what was said to them already."

He looked at the chess board and the piece with the number "0" had moved back to it's starting position. The disembodied figured moved a piece to mete with Zero.

"Did we not prove that your apprentice is powerless on harrowed ends already? Why return to one now?"

"Eh...he's a weird one, maybe his time in the realm of darkness getting slapped around like a rag doll, he learned something perhaps? Who's to say? Zero's...the least reliable of all of them, it's...honestly quite pathetic actually."

"If you're just going to hand me fodder I'm not going to complain young master! I'll see that he's eviscerated where he stands. On Destiny Islands."

The figure leaned forward and cast a global view of the islands for him and the young master to spectate as they did with the dorms before.

'When are you going to stop fooling around and take the situation seriously kid...such a waste.'

------------------------------

As if it were a curse that befell the world, the torrents of darkness rippled. Light collected itself at the very edge of the dock, and formed Eth. His eyes opened slowly and he instantly felt lighter as he floated upward.

"Back here again...this is where it all started..." Eth sighed, he was keenly aware that they shadows were burgeoning from the the purple ocean and indigo sands. His umbrella hollered on his side as the rain subsided on this visit. He looked up at the dark side the size of a mountain, catching a mere glimpse of it the last time he was here.

"It's true...I was useless on harrowed ends...in darkness period...but I'm not missing that gap in resolve anymore."

He dropped from the wooden dock and his shoes sank into the sand. As the heartless crawled under the surface, one by one the numbers grew. Taking a breath, he jumped again and floated towards the small bracket of land where the papou tree sat. His eyes never left sight of the darkside.

"World-Enders. Darksides with the power to cast a world into darkness, creating a harrowed end. Virtually immune to most forms of damage...except the master's omni." Eth's green eyes flickered blue for a moment, as the small orb of light, being his daughter Freya circled about him. Memory was powerful, and he remembered the secret the lingering will hid from the world, how it protected those lands this long and fell world enders by itself.

Body of Time [Complete]

The Orb of light stopped floating about in circles and charged Eth in place, and he released his resolve much like he did for Sae before. It expanded a radius of 50 meters. The eyes of the World Ender fell upon the Resolute who was weaponless and moving purely on resolve alone. "You were all...so impatient...and it just created problems for the rest of humanity..."

He pointed to the world ender from the ground as the heartless quickly rushed into his zone, stuck in stasis as his very aura swelled upward, dilating them in a dramatically slow field. "This power...Untouchable...did I really need any of you..?"

Blades of light slaughtered the heartless entering the field within a flash, scaling to even mete the increased durability of the foes on a this, the first harrowed end. He erected a massive blade that carved a full circle within his body of time's field and reduced the heartless floating inside to splatters. Aware of him now the world ender turned to raise a fist of monumental size. Eth raised his hand, purging the dusklanzer into his grip.

"It's time we took back the worlds that fell." The was a glint that shimmered on his key blade's tip. "All's End: Zero"

The layers of his body of time compressed, as he pulled it in and placed everything into his keyblade in hand. With a flick of his hand, he launched the floating blade of light to punch through the fist lacerating straight through eventually lobbing off the arm of the world ender. Zero started to float upwards generating what seemed like an infinite amount of lesser blades, showering the world in blades. The light touching the surface, like an antidote to a poison, pulling back the color into the dark oceans, the trees that have died, and the sands from faint indigo to sandy white.

There was a loud cry released as he world ender grasped its other fist and came down with a thunderous swing.

"STOPZA!" Eth cried releasing a temporal spell that circulated as the fist stopped mere feet away from his face, feeling the gust of wind brush past him. The blades detonated one after the other breaking apart along the massive structure of the world ender, until it eventually disintegrated into white dust from the blades purifying it's darkness.

The clouds began to recede, and so too did the light return. Eth could hear the sounds of the passing seagulls, the culling of the heartless as the remaining blades shredded them. He took a breath felt the orb of light hover around him, before he fell backwards onto the base of the papou tree, getting clocked by one of the fruits. Holding it in his hand, several pah sounds were being released by Freya, and Eth in this extremely rare instance did something he almost never did. He smiled, tangibly, and outside of his usual demeanor he'd overcome his inadequacy of genuinely being unreliable.

"Luxu...I wonder what you were asked to do...?" Eth leaned forward before he could hear the sound of people inhabiting the island again. It seems that when the world ender was felled, so too did the inhabitants lost to the darkness also return. They didn't appear to remember any of what had transpired, and rightfully for the better.

"Was it really a good idea back then...to obsess over where he'd gone..? Maybe none of this would've never happened if we weren't less devoted...but thats betrayal is it not..?" a cold air brushed past Eth as he remembered, that their was still a traitor among them. Living by the master's word, lead him to figure out how to push back the tide, with a little more confidence going forwards the world could be as somber as this one, that was his hope.

"Time to go." he said fetching the floating orb of light Freya alongside him as the two vanished into yet another portal of light to move on to the next harrowed end. Hollow Bastion.

Try was in a bit of an odd mood. Things weren't going very well in spite of how hard she was trying. Compassion and hard work were supposed to be rewarded, right? So what gives? Why was she walking through the wreckage of a world that was Twilight Town, with nary a clue of what to do, and why wasn't she given enough time to show that asshat just how sloppy her hands could be smashing into his face? Oh well, she had a job to do, might as well keep walking, even if she had no idea where she was going.

"We're off to see the Traitor~
The horrible Traitor of all~
We hear he is the bleakest of bleak
If ever a bleakest there was
If ever, oh ever a Traitor there was
The Traitor of all is one because
Because, because, because, because, because
Because of the horrible things he does~"

Try ceased singing and stopped on a dime as she dropped Komaeda to the ground, who she had insisted on carrying. "Hey hey, fluffy hair." She said, totally not because she couldn't remember his name. "I've been wondering this for a little while but uhh... We've been going in circles haven't we?"

"So thats how it's gotta be...Luxu was it?" Sae said with a glint of rage in his eye.

In his weakened state, his body was heavier than Helmet's...helmet. The situation had rapidly gone awry and in this bleakness, the dread that loomed in all their faces. This was betrayal in it's rawest form, locked inside glass-like light, and ejected from this world Number 1 had only been for mere minutes. Too weak to move, too tired to protest, the glint in his eyes that reflected his anger dissolved into his resolve and he simply nodded to contest Luxu's claim.

"He never said alliances couldn't be temporary...remember that everyone."

His words hit deep, deeper than the cuts into his skin from the many battles and very same breed of mistrust he'd endured in years prior. As he felt himself being lifted and cast into darkness, he couldn't help but cut the group a smile. Sae finally understood the nature of the world they'd been thrown into. If this was yet another one of the master's tests, here or not, he'd answer him in kind. As Number 1, The Scarred, The Morning Star Rain.

The water was cold.

A loud splash dropping the heavy warrior into a brisk ocean of dark water. The dim moonlight horizon was as ominous as was the temperatures on the beach front. The light trickle of the waves being made, pushed him towards the shore where his heavy body floated along as if it were driftwood.

There was a fit of mindless shouting, the androgynous looking woman was storming the sandy beach. Sae's ears were ringing, he could understand anger, he could understand frustration, but NEVER condemn the master's name in his presence. There was a slight fit of steam that exuded from his muscles, his light was healing his body, generating heat. He created a small bank of dense water vapor before he strummed along with a single flit. He was faster than smell, the steel was warm, it laced thinly along her neck.

"Couldn't help but notice you threatened the master. Why's a resolute gotta make threats against father figures to the rest of us?" Sae's breath was unusually cold, frost even settled on her shoulder.

Lowering his Alabaster he gave the woman a brisk pat on the shoulder before he dismissed his keyblade. She didn't remember him, so of course she didn't know any better, his relationship with the master was one of undying devotion, a true resolute, his number 1.

"Didn't you hear what I said before? The master didn't say alliances couldn't be temporary. That Luxu fellow is just exploiting a grey area in our memories, if the choice is to trust temporarily, then it's fair game to disband that trust all the same. Peace isn't found through cooperation alone, sometimes radical action, pain, and suffering will come into play and it may be necessary in the pursuit of that peace."

Saebyeolbe folded his arms and he meditated on the thought briefly.

"Saebyeolbe. I'm number 1 in our little collective of resolutes. Lets not waste any time bickering"

Though he didn't show it, his muscles were blistering despite using his resolve to tank a direct punch from that dark side. The difference in physical strength, even his albeit he didn't have time to properly mete back, was still fairly substantial. A tremble caught his left leg and he glared out into the water. The smell of darkness here was...beyond foul, almost as if his senses were sharpening. A flicker of red hit his left eye and he heard his voice again.

"Eat....Eat.....EAT! MUST EAT!!!"

The shrill shouting inside of his head, was this Anti's crazed hunger? The resolute smacked his head, and then everything went quiet for a brief moment. He walked over slow as he still throbbed and rest his back against the rock just for a moment or so. Trace and Anti had finally fallen on deaf ears, and he contemplated their location. It was the infamous Dark Margin within the realm of darkness. Escape from here after hearing stories always required a little more finesse and tools than you'd expect. He couldn't just open up a path in the lanes between to leave here...it wasn't even connected to the lanes to begin with.

"This part of the realm of darkness...is so close to the islands. Historically you could cross over if the world was still bathing in light, but...I have a feeling...it's been lost even before we woke up in this hell that is the end of the world. Hmph." he said taking a rock next to him and tossing it across the water to skip.

"We'll be a while...I don't have an answer for this problem just yet. Have a seat."

2nd Earth.
I could feel it. This sensation was familiar to me, utterly putrid. It bubbled inside the more that Luxu talked, and I exploded. The sound of what felt like a massive rebound, several came from the walls. I was beating the living hell out of the surface out of pure rage, spastic, and adrenaline was high. I couldn't hold back as the tension exploded met with the sound of my fists banging against the glass.

"LIAR!!!" i screamed at the top of my lungs, flustered, heated, and feeling the weight of my distress.

Gone, whisked away and swallowed up by the darkness. I was lost to the scattering cowl that was Luxu's deception, hearing the bruised man make a comment that lingered in my mind. Temporary alliances...? My eyes shut as I was carried along and eventually funneled out in the black expanse with strips of white road. Realizing I was animated, i came into consciousness feeling a sprain in my upper back. There were skidmarks from where I had slid, and nearly off the edge of the world. I shuffled over and rolled to lay on my belly, with closed fists clutched full of sand.

My heart was racing, beating so fast as all of the rage from before didn't dissipate for a second. I could hear the sound of sloshing through the white sand of the floating plots of land. Heartless where near, but in my head all I could see and hear was Luxu scolding me, expressing his disappointment, before scattering us all into the ether.

I threw my head back and screamed at the top of my very lungs, a shriek that echoed across the topmost layer of the Realm of Darkness. The scream cracked, and my voice went from shouts and touting of anger, into very clear broken sorrow. I was already pale, but today I was bright red and flushed, feeling the steam permeate from my skin, as the tears trickled down my cheek. My hands were trembling, and I cried more still, my heart wouldn't stop beating from the rush of anxiety, and I cried more still. The shaking was violent and my noct, diem, and now gris hovered about me as I was the center of their world.

I felt physically sick, I felt so many things rushing to my brain at once, I was on the verge of making an anxiety attack and so did I proceed to vomit off the edge of the world. The darkness thickened, I could sense it finally...

MALICE.

Shaken still, the erroneous feeling of unease collapsed all at once when I felt a hand swipe the white sand. With Gris out the last thing i did worry about what i couldn't see. I managed to pull myself to my feet and i looked down the strip of white that extended even deeper into the darkness. There was a strange sense of familiar emanating from me, almost as if it were deja vu, nostalgia, the feeling that I'd been here before...? I shook my head and smacked my face, my eyes felt borderline lifeless, tapping both in and out of doubt. I was vigorously rubbing my eye with my shoulder remembering the disbelief.

"Temporary alliances...so it wasn't a betrayal..?" I was engrossed in thought and I finally could see them. Countless sets of yellow eyes that painted a vivid cloud in the darkness that hovered over the white sandy road. My grigori came to me as my three orbs escalated around, my realization was slown, fingers trembled to covet Lucient of pure-white.

"Wait...I can feel it....the difference here is...making me sick..." I spoke finally understanding the situation.

This was a harrowed end, the first of them all, the realm of darkness that stretched indefinitely as it consumed worlds that fell to a state of sleep. Here, where the denizons of light would feel the notable change in geography, atmosphere...and the dissolution of light. The air was thick, these heartless were feral, and I was slowly building a small sense of tension and worry as my legs wobbled, my stomach turned in disgust, and I felt so many different feelings welling up inside. I smacked myself with my open palm, shouting, "Focus!" Bringing Lucient up to my waist taking a reaper stance with my knowledge of single-handed swordplay, fencing.

There were still tears, I was still...unsure, what even was the point in what I was doing? Escape this place...and do what exactly..? I started to rest a bit on doubts that Luxu spawned in my mind, after Try even denied she was responsible earlier. Trust huh? I thought for but a moment before Diem released a burning pylon of intensified light it burned through the forming mob of heartless without hesitation. I combated the doubts, the tears kept flowing, and more than anything...I was angry. The burden was real, the weight was real, and my steps felt heavy as I moved with purpose peeling through the darkness down the white sanded path.

Alone.

~- Honesty and Relaxation? -~

Jay didn't blink when Sae threatened her, she could understand what she said was extreme. She didn't immediately move, instead giving it a few minutes to make sure things were going to be safe enough. Sitting down next to Sae, she leaned against the rock, her eyes closed as she listened to the waves crashing on the shore. This situation sucked. She could hear the logic in Sae's words, and she wondered how often they'd had conversations like this. Thinking about her words earlier about the Master, she muttered, "Sorry, I shouldn't have said that. It was frustration, I wouldn't ever really act that way towards the Master. I just want answers, nothing unique or new. Luxu's the main one my frustration is aimed at, especially since it sounds like we've done this before."

Jay opened her eyes, thinking. How could she act effectively when she had no idea how to plan? She knew she had to trust the Master, it was the only way to do this. She glanced to the ocean, thinking about what Sae had said about the purpose of this world in the past. It prompted the question of what was the purpose of this world now? Or was it fated to fade away like the Resolute? "How much do you remember?" She asked Sae, not looking away from the waves.

Temporary alliances were allowed, huh? So it was fine to use and discard as needed. Maybe that worked for some, but for Jay that didn't sit well. She had the vaguest notion about things being strained between her and Sae, probably from something in the past even though she couldn't put her finger on the cause. She filed the thought aware for later, and instead she focused on the scene in an attempt to recompose herself even as she waited for Sae's answer.

His body thrust to life as the light burst from the bubble.

GASP!

Komaeda clutched his chest and his hand was shaking. A rush of exhilaration escalated through his form, he was a live. "Loki??" he said in a scrambled state. No signs of life from his All Series, just the mutterings of Try in his ear. She'd asked him a question, rather made a potent observation. His attention then came full circle, and he realized he wasn't on the world of the dorms, he didn't see Lucrecia or Luxu, wasn't even aware that he potentially could've killed the resolute that split the demon tower from the rest of the group.

"Circles? Oh, forgive me. I must've passed out again...I always seem to go into that ball whenever a disaster happens...ugh." he said tracing his hands through his fluffy hair. "Don't tell me you already forgot my name Try. How are we supposed to be better friends if you can't remember our names? It's Nagito."

His head tilted back and he smiled, for once genuinely, no heinous twist to be found. The longer they lingered here the more his personality would warp, given his relationship with the darkness was one of utter hatred and unrelenting rage.

"It seems we've landed ourselves in a place of putrid filth, this harrowed end is all thats left of Twilight Town? How homely...utterly pathetic."

He stood finally and dusted off his pants and turned to Try. There were small pockets of darkness starting to claw at their feet, daring to consume them. This wretched place would only serve to piss him off to the point he had to douse this hell hole in light, anything less just wouldn't do. He extended his hands and extended his bubble of light around him and Try similar to a portable moving field. They themselves would act as a lantern as they wandered this harrowed end, figuring at best they'd attempt to get off the world and regroup somehow.

"Say try. Think you can reflect something for me?"

A wide grin appeared on Komaeda's face his serendipity purged into his hand.

"I don't agree with what the master said by the way. Saying we shouldn't trust one another. I stand defiance of that pitiful guise...if anything he's this traitor who already deceived you and everyone else by pitting us against each other causing us to hesitate even after the world's have largely already fallen. How convenient there would be a traitor, a liar, a deceiver, shouldn't we be hoping that the situation improves and band together, whether we remember or not? The common goal here is to do more than just survive..."

Komaeda's light that surrounded them resonated a warmth that could be felt even through her read leather and (now) cracked helmet. "Do you know what my resolve is called Try?"

He closed his left eye and opened his right searching for a single eye through the crack of her helmet to make eye contact.

"The Wakeful Sleep. Even if my body fatigues, my light does not rest. It, unlike I, is inexhaustible...now about my previous inquiry...can you reflect something for me? Say for example...can you reflect my resolve back onto to me and double it? Maybe we can escape if you cooperate. Even if it's only 50%, thats more than enough for me to make it work...I need to bring out Loki again."

Komaeda collected his resolve in one place. "Whats say we run the risk here. I'm a gambling man. Reflect it back twice. It'll be like we're playing volley ball, except both of us are spiking the ball back on return trips."

Komaeda tossed it up in his hand like it was the weight of a volley ball, but it was light compressed in a form similar to a battery. Sending it as an attack to have it reflected several times would bolster the potency of the light in general for it to be re-absorbed. It'd give Komaeda enough to work with in order to bring out Loki again in such a short amount of time after it's dismissal which required ample amounts of power the first time. He tossed up the ball and spiked the orb towards the helmet bearing banshee.

"We can't bring things back to how they used to be twiddling our thumbs on this rock!"

Try wasn't a fan of overthinking things. If the Master told her there was a traitor, then there was a traitor. It was as simple as that, why complicate things? Why would the Master give her such a mission if he was the culprit in the first place? It didn't make sense. She instinctively averted her eyes from him as he tried to peer into the crack in her helmet.

"I get it, don't be so clingly." At the very least she felt she could trust Nagito, his passion for the light was... more fanatical than most. She wasn't sure what he was planning by using her ability, but if all she had to do was hit something back she could do it. "Do it. You had better not regret this."

Nagito threw the orb at her, Try summoned her keyblade, shifted her feet, and thwacked it with a line drive right back at him, making sure to duplicate it with her ability. That would be two. She readied for it to come back and tightened the grip on her keyblade. She hit the orb back once more, the strike being accompanied by an incongruous quartet of impacts and noise.

"You better not die!" She yelled as the orb of light was sent flying.

2nd Earth.
The pull of hesitation as my feet hit the grass. After the last blade pounded away, after the bodies of other people were cast into portal of darkness. In the rudest of fashions, my timing was just too little too late. Hitting the ground late on arrival, I was holding my Cedo tightly between my grasp. This person...resembled the attire of the master, yet not the physical height and stature of our master, almost like he were a fanatic.

It was time, here in this place that felt familiar yet I never remember treading here. The heartless that were sorely weakened from Eth's light storm of blades. The forces by no means stayed subdued forever and there were just two of us remaining. It didn't take much for me to make a guess here, but it seemed that the actions he took were intentional. This world was ending, and it could've been saved? Could it still be saved?

"Pay my respects...?" I said slowly as I was gaining my composure. "No...I came here to save this place."

I didn't have an inkling of an idea as to where this was coming from, but I would try. Maybe if I didn't wait before, if I'd gone immediately after Eth sent his aid this could've been avoided? I was tired from my trek through the realm of darkness for what felt like an eternity and then some. I couldn't tell you how long I'd been there, how long I'd been awake, and how i'd been separated from the master.

"Oh? So thats what you're here to do? You really think you can take on this amassed army of darkness AND take out the World Enders by yourself? AS IF!"

I could here his heckling laughter as he held his side and shook to the left and right dropping his keyblade in place. Through all of that traveling in the realm...never did I expect to find another resolute. Let alone a resolute that potentially learned what I learned while trapped, wandering endlessly. I started to wonder how many of us...really understood how to break the "world enders" as this fanatic of the master's called it.

"Are we not allies?" I said with the sincerest of concern. "You sent them away...why would you do that if you wanted to save this place??"

"Save The Dorms? Ohhhh you thought I meant to keep the light here aloft and a float? As if! Provoking your stress for you to make your own determinations of what to do about the situation is my role. Beyond that, I only have one job and it's off limits to you number 10."

I looked at him with the foggiest of what I was expecting, not this...not this dissent. I didn't know him, no...I didn't remember him, name, or the kind of person he was. I just know from a memory...that his name was Luxu, nothing more. This was painstakingly harsh, the environment and the landscape was crawling with heartless as he stood there, him and I in front of the dorms.

"Helping your friends...Luxu...isn't that the point of this world we came into...?"

A giant red circle erected around the entire radius of the dorms. A red "X" appeared through my black cotton long sleeved shirt and collar. From the sides walls of glaring light were being built in a last ditch effort to fortify the walls that remained. A dome formed around and behind it were Luxu and myself, and he simply smacked his forhead, to rub his temple.

"You just don't get it...do you Midna...? In this hopeless situation all you're doing is stalling out the inevitable. Do you even possess the power to kill one of those things, you know theres more than one here...the hoardes will never stop either until the world is cast in shadow."

I didn't pay his badgering any mind as I was trying to concentrate, but he didn't have any real reason to be dishonest about this predicament. Part of me had to assume someone would make their way back here and help out. If the worlds fell one by one, there had to be an answer to reverse the events...i started to wish that Eth were still here. Effectively annihilating three quarters of the forces alone was a testament of someone I could trust in a situation like this. Following that example, I stuck to my guns and would further push my resolve to it's limits.

"We can't just let the worlds die Luxu...we can't just give the darkness ground to swallow everything that remains...we simply cannot. That is why we resolve."

Multiple circles hovered by the sides purging what looked to be transmutations of canons. Each armed with front loaded light, and firing off like mortars into the distance displacing the larger heartless and wiping out the smaller ones. This was the best that I could do for right now.

He couldn't help but feel this person was consistently worried about the wrong things. It said a lot about your personal development, it said a lot about your maturity, it said everything about your priorities. Sae wasn't here to judge, how quickly his tenacity became a warm smile was a display in it's own right. In this world he and these other resolutes had stumbled upon, he'd already traversed to many places thus far and everything held a single common thread.

Desolation at every turn.

The longing for other human contact, the fixation in his mind that someone else had to exist...another to convey a type of kindness towards. Not expecting Eth, not expecting Shiki, and definitely not expecting to land on a world familiar but unfamiliar...slipping his memory whether it were important or not. It bothered him more than he conveyed, but for one to understand this resolute, was his readiness to sacrifice in order to preserve peace and smiles. He was a man that would gladly shoulder the burdens of both light and dark and all shackles and oppression both were capable of producing in order to preserve both life and order among the worlds.

When she finally apologized, his head didn't turn, he'd already forgotten her lack of respect. Rage, emotions were high and a sign of a lack of maturity and control, but looking at her closely she was clearly extremely young, and couldn't fault her. Placing his hand on her shoulder for a brief moment as she sat next to him and gave but a simple nod of acknowledge. A non-verbal communication that expressed from his warm face, "It's ok. I understand, try not to worry about it alright?" is what his face was communicating.

His muscles were starting heal a bit more rapidly now. Sae's resolve, while extremely powerful and potent, his tendons and nerves that were brutally rattled between getting struck by the fluffy haired resolute's redirect of Eth's powerful blades of light in combination with parrying the crushing power of the Titan that was a "World Ender" Darkside.

"You really don't know much I see. Asking questions...but not the right questions, ha ha." Sae wore a wide grin. "I really don't remember anything aside from everyone's faces and myself...fighting helmet? What was her name..."

The youth scratched his chin, he genuinely didn't remember. However...he had ways around things that both his mind and his heart may have either forgotten or locked away...but his body...it never forgets a single experience. His reaction off his instincts alone was a testament to the level he was on compared to the others, and it's why he didn't deliberate the master's assertion to him before this whole mess even started. Trust conservatively? He didn't remember them no, but his body responded on it's own, scars...spatial awareness...familiarity in warmth, they were friends and allies and his instinct was always true.

"Listen...oh!" he cupped his mouth, just now realizing he'd been speaking rudely. "My apologies, I never introduced myself properly! I was cold before, you'll have to pardon my manners. It's Saebyeolbe, but Sae is my handle. I'm Resolute Number 1. The Scarred." he lifted his right arm to reveal the roman numeral tattooed on his sleeve as proof of his claim.

His body shook all over for a brief second before got up slowly and looked towards the water. Darkness was billowing out on the surface, and the pools that washed along the shoreline grew black. A towering hand sprung forth beyond the size of anything he could ever anticipate, small beady yellow eyes started to crawl out of the space and immediately flailed around the arm. It was one of those "Titans" of World Ender Darksides he'd been daftly terrified of before.

Fear gripped the resolute tight, his muscles remembered this unparalled strength, but his body was communicating some kind of foolish movement all on it's own. A smile had taken a grip on his face and he stopped walking to stand a few feet in front of the woman. With a closed left fist and and the Alabaster filling his right hand, he smiled even harder.

"I had a saying for years..." Sae held his closed fist to his chest "That I never wanted to let anyone else down ever again. That winning while keeping as many lives protected as humanly possible was what I aimed for. It justified my suffering, my pain, and the many scars i'd received for my endeavors and chivalry."

"Don't you think it's redundant now...when their s virtually no one left...to protect? I don't fight for the master or for other resolutes more than capable of holding their own as well I could. How do you proceed when that was your entire purpose you devoted yourself too?" He turned his head, the Darkside was preparing to crush them both with a single blow with the speed and surface area to make trying to flee pointless.

"Even if there is no one left. Even if you are on the verge of losing everything..." a power was welling up inside of him he didn't realize it in the fleeing moments before his inevitable death.

"You realize...that hope is the only thing that you have left to keep you going...not survival. A living breathing aspiration that things will be ok, that they'll be a future to look forward to, and I'll gladly resolve to that in this world. That is my answer to peace...master!!!"

He threw his alabaster to the side and raised both of his arms and openly caught the mid-section of the World Ender's fist and broke the wind-box horizontally that would've crushed him and the other resolute both. At least 25 scars faded from his body instantly, shock absorption, inertia, insane human strength, power amplification, vectors, anything his body could remember to buffer this insane amount of force. His grin was wide, a couple wounds reopened and he was bleeding from top down, with a powerful light in his eyes, smiling.

"Never again...Never again is anyone going to suffer in this world." His muscles were tensing and he was pushing more and more of his light from the very depths of his soul, rushing outward like water pitching from the nozzle of a hose. "I'M NOT GOING TO DIE HERE!"

Heartless dashed past him as he held the fist in place and his strength was rapidly growing to the point he could move it on his own. If you wanted to be the strongest, you had to keep pushing, you had to keep hoping, so your actions, words, and impressions left zero doubt of your competence and reliability. His body butted two white shells of himself composed of pure light that ripped through the heartless attempting to attack his comrade. Saving this technique for an emergency, one he'd been scolded about by the master in the past, but he didn't have a choice.

GIVE US CONTROL OR YOU'LL KILL US ALL!!!

HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!!!!!!!!

Sae's eyes grew wide when he noticed the free hand clutch at the water to swing up a wave that was towering, fitting to swallow them all. It was taking most of his resources to hold the fist from pummeling them both. He definitely didn't have a choice now...he was more than prepared to do it now.

"The words engraved in your heart...? Call the name." The morning star rain exhaled before he shouted, "MORTEM!"

Hand emerged from under him grabbing the fist and lifting with even greater strength and Saebyeolbe's. The figure was in bound in chain, a reflection of suffering along with a chivalrous spirit. The sheer pressure being released was enough to hold the world ender at bay. He moved and blood ripped off of him as he pulled both of his fist inward before shooting a thrust of air forward with enough power to break the wave off to the sides. The power he released took out all of the approaching heartless. As the second hand came crashing down his mortem caught the fist mete with equal footing this time around.

His face was lit with a tenacious smile as his Mortem's fist began to pummel the dark side's fist until they were repelled backward. He fought with all of the resilience he could muster, if this place was herald as the first harrowed end, then it was absolutely imperative that they survived this hell.

"To say we can't destroy these things...don't underestimate a resolute's will!" He struck his chest with his right hand and pointed towards the world ender. "Eviscerate."

Calling to his all series, he funneled his power from some of his scars into Mortem. It's arms released whips of lights lashing multiple slashes up and down the form of the titan. On the ground, Saebyeolbe was boxing with multiple different types of heartless spilling out of the portal beneath the world ender. His body doused in light, he didn't even need his Alabaster, his impressive agility was enough to fight them all while defending the other resolute. This incredible amount of power was taking it's toll, he was bleeding profusely, his muscles were wearing down, and even with his weathering skill he was going to experience burnout, especially with Mortem's finishing move taking effect.

He snapped his finger and the lashes all across the world ender's form triggering a mass of explosions from the scars Mortem inflicted. The world ender was reeling in pain, it was releasing it's form and shape and becoming a massive vortex of darkness at this point.

"I don't know if you plan on staying here, but we're being dragged in whether we like it or not!" Sae said with a wide smile. "I'll see you on the other side Resolute!"

Beyond the Final Destination
Komaeda had a bit of an odd simmer to his light. He wasn't expecting her to do the crazy thing and actually bounce a raw form of his resolve back his way. Eyes wide now, he had to figure this next part out fast or his luck would literally be turned against him. They were surrounded by light, rapidly growing in size as the orb he'd formed was inches from his chest, attempting to force its way inside. The feeling of it burrowing into his skin was intense, the concentric circles that were his teal eyes were lit with unparalleled despair. Cracks in his composure soon began to take hold and he was surging, mete his resolve with a wild scream in agony.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" he howled slowly raising his arms, stiff as boards to his chest.

Luck of the draw.

[music]

His light flared to an insurmountable radiance that was starting to convert even the ground they were standing on of the corruption that decayed the surface. He let out a laugh, a chuckle, before it turned into an almost altruistic cackle. His arms shifted downward and the yellow swallowed him and try whole as a bubble he'd normally create passively was now a dome the size of a blimp.

An undying advent of the light, it was spreading like a virus, corrupting the darkness back and reversing the effects this world had. He needed now only to call the words of his resolve in the physical. The thought of Loki appeared in his mind, but he instead...opted for a different route.

"I was only given one job by the master Try...and he said, May my heart be my guiding key. Heh, precious words you'd hear in fairy tales or even a bedtime story. No..." he took a step towards her as three world-ender darksides clawed their way onto the surface. "Right now my heart is screaming at me to neutralize this bastard darkness gone rogue and pay that asshole back for sending us into such filth."

He reached behind his back and pulled out a revolver he had tucked away and pointed it at Try.

"Heh. Know what this is? It's a gun...but not just any gun my sweet Try. Oh this will be the boon of all that you've forgotten. I'll admit, I can only use this one time...but since you seem like you have something to do, maybe giving up my light is worth the trade."

Stomping the ground, the world enders huddled around the massive dome placing their hands on it in an eager attempt to destroy their final bastion.

"Come, one last time. Loki!" His eyes inverted and spiraled into hopeful swirls that'd make any dark embodiment despair. This snake-like, apparition of pure light exploded from where Komaeda's shadow. "I'm leaving everything in your hands, thats what my heart decided. READY LOKI?!"

He raised the revolver and the physical form of his resolve, Loki, braced the gun with him blessing it with a single bullet dubbed "Miracle". "Sayonara Try. And safe travels...and take off that stupid helmet...if you see Lucrecia again, tell her Luxu was wrong."

They world enders shattered the dome of Komaeda's light, and a loud gunshot was heard. A single bullet trailed on a direct path, passing straight through her helmet, shattering the make and putting back everything that was missing. She'd remember everything, the second effect of the bullet creating a small portal much like from before. He pulled and dragged her to the other side whisking her back to the Dorms whence they were cast out.

"What light you possess...is more radiant than i'll ever know. Being controlled by a man is in itself a sin, but the pain of giving in during times of strife and melancholy is infinitely more humiliating."

Komaeda smiled, "Even a liar like me has to play the role created by himself...Come Loki...Harbinger Suicide Bomber!"

A loud heckle was released as he armed his light to detonate. As Loki locked into place on the Resolute, he tossed his hands up and reveled as the darkness was about to be purged from the realm of light. A menacing laugh filled the air, before it became rife with the effects of an ever expanding explosion that took the world by storm. Devouring the World Enders whole, and placing the dimensions and surroundings back in place his light was Wakeful and unending, but his body had reached it's limits.

"This world...is beautiful...don't give in everyone...beauty like this, is what the world should be." Komaeda smiled as his body crystalized and the "V" tatted on his waist line slowly started to vanish.

The world bathed in light, and he stood on the opposite side of a gated mansion as a centerpiece.

~~~~~~~~
Another piece falls to the formless' side. The master could feel a piece of Omni return to his gauntlet, right beside VIII.
A fist slammed ont the table. "What the hell were you thinking Nagito!? You really made a mess of the situation!"
Did he not do as he was instructed? He followed no order other than his own. Come now young master, your 'wildcard' has been played. Don't tell me you're disappointed with how he played himself?
The Master fist tensed the table, but the board did not shake. His calm returned and he breathed a bit of relief. The Dorms could still be saved, Midna traveled there shortly before Komaeda's first portal closed. Saebyeolbe and Jay arrived not long after, and with Try's forced ejection with a new revelation of the past, that was the thing he was most concerned about. If she remembered her all series...and the reality of how the worlds fell...she may go berserk.
"I'm gonna have to place my bets on my number 1 and protege right now."
~~~~~~~

Luxu also saw it, through Try's keyblade he glimpsed it for but a moment.

"Oh shit...this is really bad. She's coming..."

He looked up as Saebyeolbe and Jay were falling from the sky through a portal of darkness. Seems they felled a world-ender to accomplish enough power to link them to this world. In Try's case...it had to be Komaeda's doing.

His resolve can alter the very fabric of reality, but he shouldn't understand that...his luck and bad luck...can he manipulate it at will?? He's dead now however...but that leaves us with her to deal with.
