No, not X. Becuz it's the newest game. And buying the newest game will make you hate the older games.


So buy either 8 or 7. Theyre kinda the same, if you play 8 first, youll like it better than 7, if you buy 7 first, youll like 7 better than 8. Hahahahaha!

VII and VIII. VII has the best plot (although it's very straight-forward for a FF) and conflict.
VIII has the best setting and characters IMO.

well i played seven first and thought it was ok...although i like it its my least fav...i like 8/9/10 though ^^

FFVIII - Best romance
FFIX - Funniest
FFX - Good characters and graphics, easy battle system

It depends on what you're looking for in a game. If you get X, then you might want X-2, but I really wouldn't reccomend it unless you want a misson-based gameplay and kinda dumb storyline.

Get FFX! that was the first Final fantasy game I have ever played, and the one that got me the most interested, It is very beautiful and the graphics are off the chain....you will love it, trust me.
