Wow, you guys are very in depth with your reseach. Maybe there is a reason why it's not adding up...something we don't know yet. Or maybe it could have been a mistake. We'll most likely find out eventually.

ATW wrote the SAR after Xehanort started calling himself Ansem. By the time ATW wrote the reports, it HAD been some years ago when he had found Xehanort, because he didn't begin writing the SAR until long after Xehanort became Ansem SoD. There's no math error there, you just have your own timeline confused. ^^

Ansem the wise dicovered him with no memories but the word 'xehanort' so since that's all he could remember, ansem gave him that word as a name
1. Mickey never told them to stop the experiments. Ansem the Wise did.
2. Xehanort wasnt named by AtW.
3. You're right. It could have taken a year, but it didnt because Ansem the Wise said that he met Xehanort years before the actual experiments took place. Read the reports.

Only if our assumptions that Xehanort came into being around or during BBS are true. Otherwise, if Xehanort came around before BBS, then Nomura never made any mistake.
Either that or AtW wrote the Reports in present tense at a much later date. Or he's "retconning." Making up the info. Not sure why he'd do that though.

ok the real Ansem reports talk as everything that happened to him happened in the past (as in all the events happened and he just happens to write a report about it a few years after) so really it could say 'some' and the one year gap is easily explained.

not exactly... the one in BBS is Master Xenahort (MX) and no one knows who he is exactly
