Tidus and Wakka Nowhere in sight O.o?

Much to the suprise Tidus and Wakka unfortunately didn't make an appearance in KH2 since according to Selphie, they were in the middle of a ball game. You would think with the appearance of Selphie, that Tidus and Wakka wouldn't be too far behind. I found this to be really strange and disappointing as they hadn't been included in the Sequel, at least to show how much they aged much like Kairi and Selphie. Any ideas why Nomura didn't incorporate their appearance into the storyline?

XD You may be right, though they did seem rather useless, if you reflect on KH the only they did was fight you and thats about it. No words of advice or anything, kind of makes you wonder why they even brought Selphie back =/

I think that Nomura didnt put Tidus and Wakka in, on that part...>.>...was maybe because it was a Girl & Girl moment...like they were talking about Sora...who.. obvously Kairi loves, and its kinda girl talk...<.<...i think o.0;;...so maybe it would have been a little funny with Tidus and Wakka there...O.O

Selphie....she only had one scene..and then Kairi stole it from her...Kairi's all like WTF ARE YOU DOING!! THIS IS MY SCENE MOVE OVER ANNOYING FFVIII GIRL!! *cries* I miss--uhh..LINE PLEASE!?!!??

With it being a conversation between girls, that i can understand. One thing that doesn't seem to be of relavence, i didn't see why tidus and Wakka couldn't come in at a different time. Basically he would have added another cutscene which would seem optional, possibley a deleted scene so to speak.

Hmm, Ya...I know what you mean...<.<...i Huess they just didnt have anything to do with the story...Kinda like Sora's parents in the first one...they werent in it, because they werent important...But then it would be why was selphie in it...<.<...WOW...this makes you think alot, lol.

<_<...Tidus and Wakka just werent needed..kinda like Tifa wasnt but since Nomura loves FFVII(>_>) he let her in the game for longer than one scene.....I mean if Tidus and Wakka were there(or in at least one scene) what would they do?....play Blitzball thats what...so we dont need a scene with them playing Blitzball.....and if Kairi were with them in said scene she'd just steal it from them too...lol

Another thing about unimportant roles, Selphie seemed needed as her role was minor. She and Kairi only reminiced about the past, the topic being about boys of course at that moment Tidus and Wakka wouldn't just walk in. The three of them together didnt seem neccessary but they are residents of the island, so that was excuse enough for nomura to add them in. The three of them made appearances in CoM too, but it was kept short and sweet. Honestly it really sucks for the three of them being such minor characters overall....>_>

^^You seem very sad that they didnt have bigger roles..XD...Maybe he forgot like at the last minute to put them in the game...or he just didnt care...I dont know....I mean maybe we wont even see Selphie in the next game..who knows..

Well, if think about it, there were tons of characters than played very small roles, but those roles made a greater difference, and even though Selphies five seconds of fame weren't earth shattering, it managed to give her and Kairi more personality as well as exapnding on their friendship, in other words, Tidus and Wakka just weren't needed, but they still had to mention them because even though they didn't appear, they do still exist........

Though im still trying to figure out Setzers greater purpose lol, I laughed so hard in the scene after you beat him and he points to Roxas as is about to say something until the others interupt (Snorts with anoying laughter) Ah good times, good times...:lol:

Well Selphie was in the game because of the conversation between Kairi I mean lets face, if Kairi was talking to Tidus or Wakka, it would be pretty akward to let out feelings to a guy. It also showed that during the year Sora and Riku left, the relationship with Selphie, Tidus and Wakka changed and Tidus and Wakka went to do their guy things. I hope this helps.

myeh, never really liked them anyways, the only importance they had were as sora's friends, and sora didn't return to the islands after kh1, so they weren't as important
