in an ansem report..... ansem the wise stated that xehanort has many extraordinary abilities maybe even abnormal abilities..........
through his study of heartless, xehanort found his way to the deepest part of hollow bastion(radiant garden) and found a mysterious door... he OPENED the door and found a huge mass of energy and he said thatit is the the heart of radiant garden................... in the secret ending............................................................................................................................(SPOLIER)........................................................................................................................................ its stated that one keyblade brings peace while he other brings chaos, xehanort opened the door then sora closed and sealed the door, got my point? But how did xehanort opened it?only keyblade wielders have the ability to open hearts of the world............... So, maybe xehanort really is a keyblade wielder from his past! but he lost his memories......... oohhhhhhhhh man!!!!!!! so many questions unanswered!!!!!!!!!!!

In Xehanort's report he stated that the Heartless had lead him there and opened it themselves. Xehanort didn't open the door, the Heartless did

My theory is this. Xehanort was the original creator of the Keyblade. The Keyblade creator goes by the title, Keyblade Master. The new chosen Keyblade Master is now Riku, which would explain how Riku can create keyblades out of nowhere. The Keyblade Master then chooses his champions or followers known as Keyblade Bearers. These bearers wield his created keyblades and do most of the fighting like a bunch of knights. So according to my theory, Riku unknowingly chose Sora as one of his champions in KH1.

The heartless opened the door, yes, but the question that remains is what are those extrodinary abilities. We also know there were keyblade bearers at least in the past that Xigbar knew. Was Xehanort tied to this?

TheMuffinMan explained it. My theory, though is that Xehanort had already used some form of the darkness. I mean he had to get to Radiant Garden some way right. He must have already been exposed to darkness. When he lost his memories he still retained its power, thus enabling him to act with more inhuman abilities.

Yeah, TheMuffinman is right that the heartless opened the door. But still, I think my theory could be true. Xehanort might've forgotten his past.

Maybe Xehanort was like the Ultimate Keyblade Wielder of Darkness or something. He had the true powers of darkness and could command the heartless. While people like Pete and Maleficent could control the darkness, the heartless would just follow orders. But Xehanort may have been important to the heartless that they think for themselves to help him, so that also explains why they opened the door for him.

how is Xehanort the original keyblade creator wouldnt he be able to use one himself plus im not even sure a keyblade can be created by someone. oh well please cure my confusion

^When he was inside Riku, he created a keyblade by using the hearts of the Princesses of Heart. There's still not enough info, but my theory is he was once a keyblade creator. Only thing is I don't think he fully remembers being one.

I think Riku is the new master for he was able to turn the Soul Eater into the Way to Dawn and then he was able to create a keyblade for Kairi. As I said, it's just a theory right now, but it could be possible.
