The past can...somewhat be changed. It can't be changed in the sense that, once you return to your original time, all of your memories of time-traveling will be erased. However, your heart will still follow any new motives gained, as if your memories weren't erased. Through that, history can be changed.

I think it always creates a stable time loop. Like, there was not a time where YMX in the past didn't have the urge to leave DI. however, this time travel aspect explains his heart's urge to leave.

Not even that. If you time travel it was destined for you to do so, so you're not changing much just going by what fate had planed for you. And even if you time travel and go back without the memories of doing so but have some form of consciousnesses of the events it was just meant to happen. So history isn't really being change not even by the slightest subconscious ability to remember the traveling to the past/future.

Looking at it as an infinite loop type of thing, it's pretty much a matter of perspective.

im just going to put this simple.

they should have never added time travel into the plot.

While this is somewhat unrelated, I remember someone way back before DDD's release explaining a made-up scenario where YMX became evil as a result of newfound knowledge from someone in the brown robe. If only I could find that post.

That's a matter of opinion. Depending on how it's executed in the remaining Xehanort games, it may prove to be interesting, as well as make sense.
