THEORY - The Identity of YMX is...

Not the heights, but the former individuals sitting in the chairs.

It's based on both, really.

We know where each member sat based on cutscenes, but for pictures like that of YMX, there's no context where you can tell where they are sitting (for instance, if we could see where the Nobody symbol on the floor was aligned, we would know for sure because it points to Xemnas' seat), so you have to base it on the heights of the chairs in relation to each other.

And checking the heights of the chairs is accurate.
The chairs can move, but the fact of the matter is that they don't. Only time we have ever seen them move is during the competitive multiplayer on Days lol. Other than that, in all cutscenes, they have always been at fixed heights. Xemnas' seat is always the highest, Xaldin's the second highest, Xigbar's the third, etc. And this still bears true in KH3D, we can see from other scenes (eg the one at the end of the Special Trailer which gives a nice view of the seats) that they are all in the same positions. Really, there'd be no reason for the developers to adjust the heights of the seats anyway.

Neither of those sets sound very likely to me. I just don't see Ienzo, Even or Demyx's somebody hanging out there again. It's completely possible, but I just don't like it ._.
So I'm considering someone else is sitting in their seats.
Isn't the figure with the pink dot crossing their legs in the bottom pic? Not saying that people can't cross or not cross their legs whenever they like LOL X3

I don't really like either of those sets though. Like, Ienzo, Even or Demyx's somebody still hanging out here? Completely possible, but I just don't like it ._.

The guy labelled with the pink dot, in the bottom picture their legs are crossed. Not saying they can't sit however they like LOL. But still...

Yeah... I don't see why though, I think it's a great chance for him as a character. I see no downsides to it happening outside some people just not liking Isa/Saix

The "YMX"/MF is Isa before he became Saix and is still all apart of The Xehanort scheme/plan.

I'm finding those option sets pretty unlikely though... Like, will Demyx and Marluxia even come back? I also thought Zexion and Vexen would, well, be neutral if not good.

This is harder than I thought because in 358/2days the thrones have moved. If you look at the screen shot. So in other words they can move their thrones if they wanted to do so.

The oringal order with Xenmas in charge since they go through odds and evens. Clockwise Xenmas, Xaldin, Lexaeus, Saix, Demyx, Marluxia, Roxas, Larxene, Luxord, Axel, Zexion, and Vexen.

This is a scene at a different angle where they are a select few left from Kingdom Hearts II FM. It would be oringally in clockwise order of the members left Xenmas, Xaldin, Saix, Demyx, Luxord, and Xigbar.

Scene from Kingdom Hearts II FM at 41 sec you can that Axel's throne would be next to Luxord's. He would be the 4th throne counter clockwise where Xenmas has his hand raised to Xaldin. Xaldin is right next to Xenmas.

Dream Drop Distance screen shot with MX, Ansem darkness, Xenmas, Xigbar? I guess Xigbar gave up his throne because orignally he was left of Xenmas. That would be mean he is NOW in VEXEN's seat. So this changes the order that gelandporn has on that diagram. But I am sure one of these nobodies is Unknown. It is hard to tell since they all are in the seats and have their faces covered. You can't really tell who seat he is now since both Axel and Saix's seat have someone in them.

On a side note I wouldn't mind if unknown is Isa or Saix because it would give him more character developement. But the more I look at unknown I see alot of Xenmas in him as well. Whether Unknown is in Axel or Saix's seat, it doesnt' really matter since Xigbar moved to the next throne. However now I am sure it could be Saix's seat. Plus it seems the power in ranks has changed as well.

Indeed, the MF can't be Xemnas though since Xemnas is already there. ;P
I'm warming up more and more towards the MF being Isa, also since he's one of the possible seeds of MX.

Not to mention that if Isa is in KH3D, he'll probably look more like Saïx, who is quite a bit older. There's just nothing that really screams "Isa" to me other than some faint similarities in appearance and possibly the chair. Plus, all the other 'norts were... right next to Mnort.

I mean, it is KH, so anything could happen, I'm just not entirely convinced just yet. :|a

As we've seen though, Sora/Riku get younger upon entering the Sleeping Worlds (They're real people), Whoever the MF is, he's real too, now Xigbar, Xemnas, Ansem SoD, MX (perhaps), and many of the other people there can't and aren't real... They only exist within the confines of the sleeping worlds

EDIT: While the "MF got younger upon entering the sleeping worlds" bit is theory only (though substantiated by Sora/Riku) the idea of all the other people being "not real" isn't just theory, they can't exist outside of there

Also, @flurryflames... I'm not seeing the change, I'm probably missing something idk

The more I think of it, 'YMX' is Saix or Isa. Not matter how anyone feels about it.
