Hey guys, picked up twewy again.

How do you get shadow matter? Like what drops it?

I think all Taboo Noise drop it, if I'm not mistaken. Difficulty has to be on Ultimate, though.

Anyway, all Taboo Noise drop Shadow Matter on Ultimate, but at pretty low percentages. Drop your level and chain as many battles as you can to increase the drop rate and improve your chances.

Also, what's so crappy about the Wiki?

For shadow matter, it had "Taboo U" drops shadow matter. I really didn't know what that meant :[

Really what's bad (for me) about the wiki is that it says that some pins are dropped by things like "93 U", and then there is no page to explain what that is.

Maybe some of you know what that means, but I really don't.

Also, there's just a lot of pages that haven't been made. Their mostly small, but, it's kind of annoying somethimes.

93 U would mean Noise 93 on Ultimate. Normally after coming to that conclusion, you would go into the Noise List and look at the entry for Noise 93 to see what it looks like.

Alternatively, you can also check the Noise list and see what pins they drop on each difficulty, along with the likelihood of the drop.

What do you mean by leveled out? Like max Bravery, Attack and Defense? I'm working on that now myself but am nowhere close to completing that goal.

FANTASTIC work. I already knew the ending but I reacted the right way anyway.

Also, I think my parents might have gotten slightly ticked at me because I didn't listen to them. I was too busy beating the bosses.

Me, I have. My play time's 120 hours. Got around 60% of the Pins and all the items too. Base HP, with no items, is 8000 HP. Most of that time was just spent making Shadow Matter to make the Ultimate Shadow Ramen and boost my drop rate, which is at around 475 maximum.

yeah I was going to go and do that a couple months back to beat the ultimate boss, but then my twewy just disappeared. I might get a new one but to get all the pins and stuff to get my items and then do all the requirments for the secret reports uh...

Levelling up pins with Mingle PP is no bueno.

I'm working on that too. I'm not sure why, but I decided to start out by maxing out everyone's Bravery, save for Beat who I'm still working on, which is fairly a useless stat compared to base ATK and DEF. I was working on HP with Neku while I worked on the others' Bravery, but I switched over to DEF. After that I'll max out his ATK and resume HP. Drop rate isn't as important, so I'll work on that last. I'll need it if I intend to get all the Black Planet pins without putting myself at too large a handicap.

Also, I gotta say, this grinding has been as mind numbingly dull as I had expected.

Angel's Feather gives Joshua a great Fusion Star boost at the beginning of battle, correct? I'd much rather give it to him myself.

Yeah, but most of that time I used Beat because he was stronger.

But I started a second game on an alternate save (on a flashcart) and so now I've got the game completed absolutely 100% and all 9 of every item and 99 of every Pin. You could imagine I used cheats, but I still had to go to each store, improve the friendship guage, as well as buy each quest item at least once, plus beat all those bosses on Hard or above. Play time is just over 10 hours lol.

I never managed to get a good hang of Beat's Fusion method, so I just stuck with Joshua.

Beat's fusion takes up too much concentration, and is dreadfully frustrating since you can get a line to all but fill the screen, but then you lose it all because you didn't manage to use it in time.
Joshua and Shiki's are much more user friendly

not to mention Shiki's Fusions pwn.
