Automata`s title menu theme also has a haunting, beautiful feel into it.

As much as I like Automata and its music, I still think OG Nier is leagues above it. Imo the song that stuck the most to me in Automata was the song for Emil, which is more or less a remix of one of his songs from OG Nier. (I'm purposely leaving out the names since they're spoiler-ish)

Don't get me wrong, I still adore Automata's OST, but for the most part I don't think it outshines NieR; almost every song in that game is glorious.

I completely forgot how awesome songs was in Yakuza 0. As soon as the music kicks in, you really feel like cracking your knuckles to kick some ass.

It's not like I'm entirely blown away by the whole P5 OST, but the tracks that I do like...holy shit, they're insanely good.

Also, if you look up Haikyuu emotional and inspirational music, you get the best tracks from that show, IMO! Free iwatobi swim club also has a really emotional ost.. And, of course, Your lie in April's soundtrack is amazing!

This theme still gives me goosebumps holy shittttttt
catching Giratina in Platinum was the second hardest catching challenge in my entire playthrough, it was so freaking intense, dark and twisted somehow
I said "second hardest catching challenge" because no#1 hardest catch is still the Beldum I caught in Sinnoh's Battle Zone, it took me more tries than Giratina for some reason

I think we can maybe all agree that Drakengard has the best music like ever, despite the lackluster quality of the game itself (story's good though). It's soundtrack works with orchestral arrangement, but its pretty experimental and implements many elements to ensure the music isn't at all monotonous as other orchestral soundtracks.

The game's main theme (Growing Wings) has a particular violin arrangement which is looped over and it sounds pretty friggin amazing. It's also topped over with additional instrumentation to add more flavor, I guess you could say.

Just recently got this title because I love Daisuke Ishiwatari (Guilty Gear/BlazBlue). The OST of this fighting game just rocks my socks. Ishiwatari always delivers.

Sometimes it's really hard to recognize the song in a game. Fortunately, there is a Shazam app (found the review on http://androidgo.fun/ ). It allows you to recognize almost any song.

I've never actually played any Fire Emblem games, but those songs are really good, especially the second.

Figure, since this thread is not updated, might as well also put some music up. Mostly from Persona 5 Royal. I'd like to post ones from Final Fantasy VII Remake too, as that had probably the best soundtrack of the year, in my opinion anyway, but the videos keep getting pulled from YouTube.

I've never played any of the Persona games, but I do rather enjoy Persona 5's soundtrack. To me, it's a mix of many things, which is why it's praised so much. I really like the classic/soul/jazz songs that are used such as Last Surprise, Tokyo Daylight, and New Beginning. I enjoy the funkiness of them all.

The Persona games really do have some great music, especially from P3 onward, with Persona 5's really going all out with it. Though the spinoff games are no slouch in this department, especially the Persona Q games. The music really helps give the games their own unique identity, especially when each of the big 3 have their own distinct styles.
