KH1 wasn't all that horrid. I mean yes it was cheesy and the whole "my friends are my power!" but the game was going for that. Not saying it was childish and stupid, just that it was naive and innocent in that sense. The dialog itself was decent, especially with an abomination like KH2 being in the series.
I agree with f08 though. Script wise, Nomura did a fine job on Days, which is why despite the plot flaws I'll always like it much better than KH2. I'll take ice cream scenes over "Sora, Donald and Goofy!" any day.
I just hate the man as a main scenario writer xD;
And as for BBS, I don't know how well it's written since I didn't play it. But going by what I know, I still prefer a game that told me something new over a game that in its concept was to confirm a bunch of theories the vast majority of the fandom managed to reach on their own years ago. The newest things we got in it are the things BBS alone introduced and in that aspect, have the potential to be as redundant and unimportant as so many people claim Xion to be. But both of these need to pass the test of time, when all is said and done, and that means they both get into the same game :\ namely - either they both crash and burn since Nomura and his chosen script writers'll screw up, or they both win because it's the Osaka team and Watanabe on the job. That's the basic difference here, who smoothens up the crap Nomura spews.
