"The source of all heartless" resides in that world

[The Sorrow]

Remember the part in the trailer where Sora and Co. were surrounded by an army of heartless? The amount of heartless is very high. But have you ever wondered why there are so many of them in that world? I think it's possible that "the source of all heartless" resides in that world.
What do you think?

No dar. Sorry, couldn't resist. The original Heartless was the Shadow, and Ansem started artificialy creating Heartless, and some of them got mutaded, I think, and became all the Heartless you fight in the game. And his experiments were in Hollow Bastion of course. So, Ansem, and or Hollow Bastion, are the source of all Heartless. It's either them or Carrotop.

Uhh..no. That many heartless could reside in ANY world. Just think. The keyhole ATTRACTS heartless meaning any world could have that amount. It could be possible that that world could hold as many.

i always thought ansem created the original heartless are the came from kingdom hearts the last door in the original game.

i beleiev in that scene you probably see all the heart less battle some then it goes to another cut scene and something happens and they all clear away. im probably wrong though.

Actually, All heartless that wear the heartless symbol are artificial. Shadows, Shadowballs, Invisibles, darkside, shadow guardian and neoshadows are all original. My theory is that the original heartless evolve as they take more and more hearts. Kinda like this:

Shadow -> Shadowball -> Invisible -> Neoshadow -> Darkside -> Shadow Guardian

Ansem probably fed a single shadow hearts until it turned into a Shadow guardian so he would have a super powerful heartless to hide behind... And it would give the heartless motive to steal hearts if it made them stronger...

The Heartless don't come from Hallow Bastion unless you mean the artificial ones. Its obvious the Heartless (original) from Kingdom Hearts since when it was opened there were Darkside and Shadows in it. Hallow Bastion is the source of all artifical heartless.

Oracle I believe in your theory since I thought of something similar to it.
(I'll post my thought on it when I come home since I have to get off and go home now)

I believe in something similar to your theory but my evo line goes something like this:

Shadow > NeoShadow > Shadowball > Invisible > Guardian > Darkside

Shadowball looks like a heartless in puberty. Darkside seems like an adult. Shadow looks like a baby heartless. NeoShadows look like bigger Shadows. Invisibles looks like semi-adults and Guardians look older than Invisibles but smaller than Darksides.

But I doubt Ansem fed them hearts and they evolved.

My theory goes: The amount of Darkness/strength of Darkness in your heart decides what you turn into. Like Sora barely has Darkness in his heart so he turned into an itty bitty Shadow.

And they evolve when they consume enough hearts.

But Neoshadows are stronger than shadowballs... Plus they seem more aware of stuff than the shadowball or shadow... and guardian is stronger than darkside as well.

Well I can't actually remember the correct order that I had them in...

Shadow > Shadowball > NeoShadow > Guardian > Invisible > Darkside
Shadow > Shadowball > NeoShadow > Invisible > Guardian > Darkside
Shadow > NeoShadow > Shadowball > Guardian > Invisible > Darkside
Shadow > NeoShadow > Shadowball > Invisible > Guardian > Darkside

Its one of these 4....but my theory stays the same.....

Guardian isn't stronger than the Darkside.

People darkside is not what a heartless turns into i think its darkside of sora that was banished so he would recieve the keyblade of light(just a theory dont kill me)

No Darkside are natural and original heartless.

1 appeared in the tutorial for you to battle.
1 appeared on Destiny Islands to fight you
Ansem summoned one to fight Ansem on evil Destiny Islands
There were like 2 in Kingdom Hearts(door to the Darkness)

They are natural. Its not any part of Sora.

sorry but a keyblade master is chosen not because he has no light or darkness in his hearts.Riku has light in his heart but is hero of darkness and Sora has darkness in him but is hero of light. sorry but your theory is of yado.
