It depends on what kind of death you're talking about. I know when someone's Heart becomes a Heartless, and their Heart was strong, the Body and Soul become a Nobody. And I know if a Nobody were to die after its Heartless does, then the Heart, Soul and Body recombine giving rise to an opportunity for the person to revive themselves.

And I know if a Nobody were to die after its Heartless does, then the Heart, Soul and Body recombine giving rise to an opportunity for the person to revive themselves.

Well they dont die they just fade back into darkness. Im talking about the soul being released from the body.

Realm of Darkness isn't hell, it's just lucid. If anything, it'd be purgatory.
The realm inbetween, would also be like purgatory, but leaning closer to hell.
Going by that logic, that'd make the realm of light hell.

Also, the Realm of Light really can't be compared to Heaven, because that is where most of the worlds reside. So, by your way of thinking, most of them are dead and in God's good book.

Realm Inbetween is the plane between the Realm of Light and Realm of Darkness, as said by Nomura, where some worlds, such as Twilight Town, Traverse Town, Castle Oblivion and TWTNW resided. They exist on a different plane than the Realm of Light worlds.

2. As the source and final destination for all life, Kingdom Hearts can actually be both. So the scale would be more like:

Kingdom Hearts - Heaven
Realm of Light - Place where people live
Twilight/Nothingness - Purgatory
Darkness - A lower level of Purgatory [As time doesn't pass in the realm of darkness]
Kingdom Hearts - Hell
