The Simpsons...first appeared on the Tracey Ullman show then spun-off to be its own by the early 90s when I was born. Then again, many believe the show's downfall was at the verge of the new millenium.

The recent episodes are just...not good...(to be vague)

I'd say that The Simpsons was at its greatest stature by the mid 90s

yeah, i think so too. the current episodes are really just.....ionno, it seems like a desperate kinda humour. they're starting to shape the characters into someting they aren't to make it look funny. the mid ninetys was proabably their greatest i agree.

I haven't laughed at a new Simpsons episode in ages, the best ones are the repeats on Sky One and Channel 4...no matter how many times u see them they are almost always funny...

Still the Simpsons is nothing on Futurama and Family Guy...
