Actually what you guys are mentioning is part of a bigger problem:
there is practically no exploration in original worlds.
Dark World, Mysterious Tower, Radiant Garden are not playable. All cutscenes happen there with no gameplay, giving this rush feeling.
Keyblade Graveyard and Twilight Town are so small it feels like a joke.
Basically, they forgot that exploration is part of storytelling.
And the prologue makes no exception. They wanted to go to Disney Worlds as fast as possible as they needed to content players who are not familiar with the series and only wanted the Disney aspect of it.
