Re: The ORG

Chapter 18 – Sharp

Xoje had to put up much more of a defense this round. Serox’s wounds from their scuffle had healed, with her face back to its normal color and the blood done dripping. She was no longer bothered by the hole that was once in her back and her fists were no longer bruised and tired from punching. Xoje was left to defend himself from her lightning-quick attacks with added pressure from the man who was always uncomfortably close. He was forced to deal with the worst of both worlds; someone who was faster than him and then this guy, who was way too strong.

He discovered the monstrous strength when his bugle was knocked out of his hands with a bored whack from Eastxi’s arm.

They constantly switched places, making Xoje change his strategy. Before it had been easy to be aggressive with Serox, but using hand-to-hand combat with the gruff man when he came forward was probably the stupidest idea ever. Getting to close would mean losing a limb. Ironically, Xoje had to resort to fighting like the girl. He kicked, then backed up, then went around and threw a punch at his side. Fortunately the strength and speed Xoje had in moderation was enough to catch Eastxi off guard and do some damage.

Of course moving out of his lock with Eastxi meant Serox could just come right in and try to stab him in the face. Which she did. Often. Any attempts at escaping the sharp thrusts meant having a large fist implanted in his skull from behind. When Xoje felt like facing that challenge, he was back back in the original situation before he knew it.

Xoje had no chance to breathe, and, sick of being stuck, finally grabbed Serox’s staff after dodging it, and pulled it backwards. When Eastxi inevitably tried to punch his head off, Xoje yanked the staff between his face and the gloved hand. There was a sharp crack as well as Serox shouting sharply at Eastxi in anger. She called off her weapon and went from glaring at her partner, to Xoje.

This time they both came at once. There was a foot and a fist and Xoje had trouble telling which came from whom. All he could do was block, and his arms came up to take the brunt of the attacks. The kick bounced off harmlessly, and Xoje knew it was Serox. The punch, however, felt like it split his forearm in half, and pushed Xoje back so far he thought he might trip. In fact, he was about to, if he went any closer to the edge of that building behind him.

A thin arm came, and Xoje turned around quick, knocking the blonde's strike to the side with his elbow and delivering a punch to the inside of the elbow. He heard her curse under her breath, and try to go at him again, but the hulking man blocked her as he moved in with the attention of decapitating someone.

Serox grunted, and was again glaring at Eastxi.

Xoje evaded, still faster, and had to jump up to perform a counterattack. His knuckles met Eastxi's cheek, which surprisingly was made of flesh under that beard, and not metal. Using his planted fist as leverage, he brought his knee up for a successful hit to the stomach. Less than a second later Xoje then was holding himself up on Eastxi with a hand on his shoulder, kicking off of him to lunge at Serox. She looked quite thrilled to take a shot at him.

And then far less so when Eastxi grabbed Xoje's ankle in one hand and swung him over his head, slamming him on his back to his side. Xoje slid backwards, drawing up dust, and hurried to his feet. He only made it up to his hands when he saw a certain scene in front of him, though. Serox dashed around Eastxi, actually pushing him out of the way with her hand on her way to attack. Xoje was surprised and compelled and began thinking then and there.

He brought himself to his feet, wavering a moment before holding a low stance. They had their physical advantages, but Xoje saw that now they were at each others throats just as much as they were at his, and he was sharp enough to take advantage of that. Way sharper than them in every aspect. The end of the roof was on his heels, and he had to make a move soon.

Man, and those guys thought they were tired.

~~~~~
It was a relief to feel the cool air of the mansion. Though really, going anywhere from Agrabah would feel like stepping into an igloo.
Xenjin, Xanele, and Brixan could tell their home was empty the minute they arrived. No footsteps echoed through the halls, nor the voices of others. It did not seem totally odd, no, not to a group that was down on numbers and was constantly sending it's members out on missions. Maybe to a certain "freelancer" that hardly even stayed at the mansion most of the time, this would seem strange. No one else, though.
The first thing they saw when they walked out of the meeting room was the large hole in the floor from the fight with Kaxsra. That and the crater in the wall down to their right raised obvious questions. Most of them were simple, and along the lines of:
"What the hell is this?" Which is what Brixan asked aloud.
They followed the stairs to the middle of the foyer and inspected the remains of the blast, but there was nothing of note. Burnt wood, with the foundation of the building visible at the lowermost point.
"No one's really here to tell us, huh?" Xanele said, more like a statement. She then turned, and cupped her left hand to her mouth. "Hello!"
No answer, or signs of people. What were they to do now?
As if they knew automatically, the three left the hole and went for the lab entrance in the library. The logical thing, of course, would be to check out that Corridor tracking machine.
~~~~~

Dryxaim was relieved to see the Nobody hold his own in battle, where two would have trouble. Still, he was a bit concerned, for the same reasons Xoje were. Eastxi was too strong to permit close combat, while Serox could just hit him with superior speed. It was hardly a fair fight, and without a good weapon or powers to use, it was flat-out hopeless for him.

Oh well, maybe it was time to help out. He would use some better power, one that was not useless in combat, to distract or prevent the two from doing too much damage. Still, it would have to be subtle. He put a finger to his chin and thought, thankful at moments like these that he had such vast intelligence and ingenious innovation.

That he was as sharp as a blade and just as deadly.

~~~~~
"We should go now." Noraxeen whispered, serenely transfixed in the landscape.
"Yeah." Jynx said, still looking at his reflection. His thumb rubbed the edge of the glass, as if to make sure it stayed clean. Noraxeen watched him do this and smiled.
"Can you stand being treated that way still if you go home?"
Jynx had almost forgot about what he had said when they were last at the mansion. He was upset at the time; at Xemnas, at everyone in the Organization, and now at that guy too. Maybe he was more mad at the Keyblade, since it was really the cause of everything. And what could he do about it? Just not use it? Ignore the thing? Like that was about to happen, since he had at least two people pressuring him about it now.
He would absolutely love to just go along with things, though, if he was not kept in the dark so long. What would be so bad about letting him in on things? Did Xemnas, Xoje, Cinollex, those higher-ups, really not think that he was not sharp enough to know the details of his existence? He had to say something. Being proactive was the only way to do learn what his deal was, but he would have to do it with less violence this time. Looking for fights only lead to explosions and scary ancient technology and men wanting your Keyblade.
With Jynx just standing there, thinking to himself, for such a long time, Noraxeen had to wonder if he had fallen asleep with his eyes open, and shuffled over. She waved her hand in front of his face, then snapped her fingers, making a tiny blue flame appear on her fingertip. Jynx blinked, and almost fell backwards.
"...I'll uh, I'll be fine."
~~~~~

Serox rushed forward first, just as Xoje predicted.

He turned quickly and leaped off the building, knowing full-well that he was being tailed by the blonde. Smirking wide, he twisted in the air and aimed his open palm at Serox. Yep, there she was, and there was a jealous Eastxi still on the roof. Suckers.

His powers let him manipulate the sound waves in the air, this time not for hearing or just deafening someone, but to concentrate them into one powerful longitudinal wave. He felt the waves move on his hand like a spring, intensifying, and finally released them in a forceful blast. He was knocked back to the building he aimed for, and Serox caught the blow squarely in the chest. They jettisoned in opposite directions, Xoje landing soundly while Serox crashed into the building, rolling from the impact and stopping at Eastxi's feet. She opened her eyes to him shaking his head.

The performance made a Nobody, unseen and in the distance, reconsider using the silver ball of energy in his hands. Now he had a more subtle alternative, as well as one that was far less taxing on his body.

~~~~~
Well, the tracker was barely helpful.
"What does "unknown" mean?" Xanele asked, leaning towards the wide screen.
"I think." Brixan deduced. "It mean we don't have any information on the world. We had to tell the thing what worlds were what in the first place."
"Sooooo." Wondered Xenjin. "What worlds wouldn't be on here?"
This was an excellent question that none of them could really think of an appropriate answer to. After a minute of pointless silence Xanele decided to just ask a question back.
"Why don't we just check out that place?"
Little did she know what situations and stunning coincidences would take place because of her asking that.
"I'd be up for that." Brixan said, shrugging. "We could just come right back anyway. If anyone's there we'll find them, and tell them we need them back here."
He and Xanele looked to Xenjin as if wanting permission. The redhead had a confused expression, but came to terms with the fact that she had been taking a leadership role in the absence of higher-ranking members. As it turned out, really, she was the highest among them.
"Well." She crossed her arms, then bit at a nail. "You two could go and see. I'll stick around in case someone comes back."
They had no problem taking 'orders'. Brixan was on the computer, finding the coordinates of the world, in an instant. He opened a Corridor, and the two left after saying their farewells.
Xenjin sighed, hoping that was the right course of action, nut there was nothing more to do about it. She made her way about numerous flights of stairs; from the library to the lobby, and finally to the turret where Xemnas's office lay. She would check if he was back yet, and perhaps search for some information. The old man seemed to know way more than he was letting on, which was not like him.
Before her hand could reach the doorknob, there was a sound from downstairs. It was coincidence number one.
"Is anyone here?!" Shouted the voice of someone participating in some quiet time alone upstairs.
Re: The ORG
Extra-long chapter since I make you all wait so much.
Chapter 19 - New Devices
Behind his visor, two dots of deep orange glowed. Xoje’s eyes were intensifying in color and brightness as he became more in tune with his powers. He looked to the building across from him, the bronze eyes behind the glasses focused, and the lips below them actually formed into a smile.
Eastxi joined Xoje on the roof, shaking the building when he landed, for he was indeed a heavy man as well, with muscle weighing so much. He came in, like before, with an arm raised and fist ready to hit. The only difference was that this time, Xoje was doing the same, challenging Eastxi to a contest of strength. Raising an eyebrow, Eastxi was confused, but went on, knowing that there was nothing the stout guy could do to best him.
But their fists never touched. Nothing made contact. Their gloved hands remained inches apart, stuck in the moment before impact. Both vibrated minutely from the shoulder down, and may as well have been trying to punch through a wall. Xoje clenched his jaw; he was generating the strongest sound wave he could from his hand, using it to push Eastxi back rather than use sheer physical force. He may have overestimated his abilities when he thought this plan up, but he was giving Eastxi a run for his money.
The invisible barrier between them wavered, going back and forth, and their arms began shaking for reasons more than the sound vibrating in them. Xoje’s eyes narrowed, but the glow increased; the thirst for victory and domination was overcoming him. Eastxi was the same, growling in his throat. His teeth were showing, like fangs.
Toucher!” He snarled, putting all of his strength into his arm.
Xoje struggled. He felt his head become lighter; black crept from the edges of his eyes.
“Back!” Xoje shouted, throat rasping. What he had not intended was his voice adding on just what he needed. The sound from his mouth amplified the wave from his fist, and hit Eastxi right where he had left himself vulnerable. Which is to say, nearly everywhere else. The force was enough to knock Eastxi backwards, so much that his dignity was all that kept him from falling over.
Serox was at his side soon after Xoje managed to prevail over Eastxi. She punched, but was deflected, and Xoje blasted her with another helping of sound energy from his other hand. It was of a high frequency and stunned her as she stumbled, covering her ears. When she recovered, she saw Xoje delivering more wave blasts to Eastxi. Even though he was using his powers more effectively, Serox observed that he was still being pushed back. Once more she lunged, and once more she was knocked back, but there was determination in her. The cycle of Nobodies throwing themselves at Xoje was back on, and he felt far more prepared this time.
But gradually, his newly-abused weapon took its toll on his energy. Whatever magic it was that he was using, it sure did not come easy. Xoje felt the waves leave his hands with less and less strength, enough so that, at one point, Eastxi was hardly phased, and barely had to brace himself to advance. Waves failed to hold off a punch, and Xoje hit the roof below him hard. He was only able to scramble to his hands when he saw the two hovering over him, ready to land the finishing blows.
Crap. Why did he have to go and use his powers so much? He mentally face-palmed himself. So stupid. His ears were ringing from the sheer idiocy of it all. Wait, no, that is not a thing. Ears do not ring when you are a moron. So why was there that high-pitched noise?
He saw the larger pair of legs in front of him start to shake, and when Xoje looked up he saw Eastxi with a hand over one ear, actually trembling. His eyes were tightened shut; he was in true pain and was showing it. Serox turned to him, wondering what was happening. She was unable to hear a sound at that frequency, so she was shocked to see Eastxi suddenly wobble backwards into a Corridor of Darkness, trying to escape the world as soon as possible. Xoje, form his ground perspective, was just as clueless.
Then he remembered how she was about to kill him and felt a bit stressed from that as well.
However, Serox was not even paying attention to her victim. She was fixated on something else; staring up and behind Xoje. Her eyes were narrowed, and her mouth was turning into a frown. A pretty enraged one at that, he could tell. Without anymore reason Xoje could tell, other than that she was mad, Serox left the rooftop and sped away, leaving Xoje unharmed. He rolled over and hurried to see where she had gone, but mystical ninja-stealth had carried her far. Far, far away.
Off to this tower where some blonde asshole had been standing a minute ago.
The Unknown world-
“Unknown” is a funny word to describe the world as, especially since it implies some kind of dramatic irony. After all, this world happens to be quite well-known, both by some of the characters and the nearly all of the readers. Any nay-sayers to this? Well, pardon the poor descriptions from earlier. Rather than having a beautiful, aimlessly painted image in the minds of the audience, full of subtlety and wonder, the formal name of the world will be given.
Unfortunately the particular area that the world’s name is derived from, the place that the story‘s cast will probably never come close to, is nowhere near Xanele and Brixan. It would be pointless, really, to call it by that name then. So, for the sake of political correctness, the world will go by “The Badlands”. It only seems fair.
And for those of you starting to put things together just now. You are welcome, and enjoy the continuing puzzle of a plot.
Xanele and Brixan turned up in the Badlands, just wondering what could be in the world. They liked to think they had done their research on something as obvious as the mere existence of entire planets. However, they truly did not know where they were. This is exactly what Jynx and Noraxeen were thinking when they arrived about an hour ago. They happened to be standing in the same spot.
Which meant that, after Xanele and Brixan explored the sandy landscape for a short while, they would come across the remains of an old battleship. Or space station. Or legendary artifact of stupefying power. Maybe all three. Maybe more.
Xanele was immediately drawn to it just because of its color. The blue color that coated the entire “ship” was the exact same as her Power Glove. Small lights and buttons flashed here and there, most being yellow, just like her glove when it was activated. Even Brixan, who had only paid mind to the device for a minutes since he first say it, was beginning to see some correlation himself.
“Woah.” He said, looking around. “All this stuff…and it looks just like that thing!”
As if she was trying to communicate with the machinery around her, Xanele held up her hand. She turned and waved her arm up and down, hoping for some reaction. It never came. The girl, while being adept at using the old devices, lacked certain prerequisites that certain other Nobody girls had when it came to these artifacts. She sighed, and slumped her arm to her side. It was getting heavy keeping it up like that, anyway. Besides, that cool computer terminal in the middle of the room looked like tons of fun and required less lifting.
The console was flashing in places; buttons just asking to be pressed and keys begging to be typed upon. Brixan leaned over it, somewhat good with technology, but found upon inspection that something was amiss. There was meant to be a display on top of the console, but nothing showed up. Considering how it looked like the machine had been turned on already, he assumed it was just out of power. When Xanele noticed the floor in the other side of the computer was scarred and graying, she began to think something had happened here, and not too long ago at that.
But before she could dwell on it too long, there was the familiar noise of a Corridor opening a short distance away. Brixan caught onto it first and was quick on his feet; he grabbed Xanele by the arm and pulled her out of the ruins. The remnant of a ship was nestled in a shallow crater, so they only had to hop up on an edge and get low to stay out of sight. Their eyes followed two people walking onto the blue floor. Both had black cloaks on, obviously enemy Organization members, with their hoods pulled down.
One of them had lengthy, well-kept orange hair. His body was decorated with small gemstones that were nearly the same color as his head, attached by straps at his wrists and waist and head and neck. Brixan amusingly thought that he must want to dress up like a princess or something. The other was, to some extent, more intimidating. He looked pretty normal, maybe even with an expression one would call serene. What was how the sleeve over his left arm was ripped up to the shoulder, and that the limb under it was made of metal. Xanele immediately recognized the two as the ones from Radiant Garden.
“This place is a wreck.” Ryjemex said, looking around. Nevex went to the console right away, fiddling with the controls.
“This…isn’t right.” He muttered, gritting his teeth when he looked up and saw that the holographic displays were not functioning. “Someone was here, and they messed things up.”
“Yeah, well, long as you can find enough stuff to replace the arm that was stolen.” Hummed the voice from behind him. Ryjemex browsed the walls and every nook he could find, running a metal finger along them. A few sparks crackled now and then. Xanele and Brixan ducked when he came close to the wall they were hidden above.
“More like ‘lost’. Great job keeping an eye on it, by the way.”
“It was stolen. I was keeping it safe. You even saw the perpetrator but at the laboratory.”
“Yes, I know me work when I see it. I doubt a person such as that could have actually taken it, however. Didn’t seem very bright.”
Xanele gave the orange-haired guy a distasteful look. Eavesdropping was really turning out to be a great idea.
~~~~~

Dryxaim strolled out of a Corridor, feeling quite relaxed. He had spent such a wonderful day in Agrabah, though there was nothing at all to report. Xeyla would be so happy to know that, too. Yes she would; totally and completely overjoyed to learn that there was no trouble at all. In fact, he may have even tanned this time and not turned completely red-

Someone gripped his shoulder and yanked him back.

“Hey!”

Oh, her. Eh. Yikes.

“Ser. I was just looking for you.”

Their eyes locked, mingling with each other so much that it made a delicious swirl of cotton candy-flavored tension.

“I think you found me earlier.”

“What? I have no idea what you, er…” His speech tampered off as he noticed the Corridor still standing behind her. Okay, so she followed him back from Agrabah. From the same portal. Implying she knew you were there. No biggie.

“…I mean, I knew you were in Agrabah, but that place is just so big. You didn’t see me, did you? Wouldn’t that be ironic. Not everyday you see a real case of irony, is it?”

“Don’t try this shit with me, Dryxaim. I know you saw me. You saw both of us, fighting that guy, and I know what you did.”

“Fighting? Oh, I heard some loud sounds, was that you-”

“Fake it all you want, I’m reporting this.”

“Reporting what?”

“Treason.”

“That is such a hefty word to throw around.” He said, casually. On the inside he was the slightest bit worried. The Superior already liked her far more than him to begin with, and if she mentioned this, even though it was of course a false accusation, it could get him in trouble.

“Look, Ser. I really don’t know what you mean….”

She was already walking away, towards the Superior’s room. Dryxaim followed, at the same pace, keeping distance.

“You let an enemy live, by turning on one of your own.”

The mistake now would be letting her live. He would just have to- no, no. That is far too extreme of an actions to take.

Yet he felt his finger tips tingle; the crystalline talons were unsheathing themselves instinctively. He felt his eyes turn purple as adrenaline pumped through his veins, and then turn gray as he foresaw every outcome of the actions he could take. His breath was coming out faster through dried lips. His pace quickened.

“….I’ll just tell her. It’s not in my place to suggest reprimand-”
She stopped moving. Serox’s legs were frozen mid-step, and even her arm, raised casually, did not budge. Dryxaim was no different. Claws drawn, he was stuck in place with his teeth perpetually showing.

The cause of this was something coming from the speakers on the walls. Oh, yes, those were there. Tons of them in fact, at least hundreds, maybe more than one thousand. Large white speakers that protruded from the walls at strange angles. Their color was meant to make them blend in, but the way they were shoehorned into the architecture made the walls crack and chip. Complicated arrays of wires and cables snaked out of them, and joined a greater mass of wiring inside the walls, which was visible in most of the speaker locations.

Out of the speakers came music. Bizarre music, which sounded like it was made on an alien synthesizer. It buzzed and beeped and did all sorts of unexpected things before changing to a final, heightened pitch. With that last, sustained note, Dryxaim and Serox entered a newly conjured Corridor, silent, with their eyes wide open and unseeing.

~~~~~
“Brixan, what’s up with them?” Xanele asked, tapping him on the shoulder. Normally she would not have uttered a word under the circumstances, but she felt somehow confident that they would not be overheard.
Both of the Nobodies below suddenly ceased conversing. They were frozen in place, and Nevex’s mouth was even still open from a word he had been in the middle of saying. It was eerie and unnerving and made them worry. Was this some kind of trick?
“They might just be baiting us out.” Brixan whispered back to her. He pressed a finger to his mouth to make sure she kept quiet, if that was the case. Xanele crossed her arms, frustrated, and impatient. She focused on a spot in the ruins, in front of Ryjemex, and a ball of light blinked into existence only a few feet away from his nose. It flashed and turned colors like a strobe light before fizzling out. No movement from him.
Brixan was disgusted since the display could have cost their lives, but he accepted that their foes really were stuck in place. He started to stand back up when the two, miraculously, sprung back to life, and proceeded to file into a new Corridor. Brixan dived back into the dirt, but the Nobodies left without paying any mind to the world around them.
Thirteen tall thrones sat in a circular room, none at quite the same height.. The fixtures, as well as the walls and ceiling and floor, were once a stark white, but were now faded with shades of gray and brown, as well as desecrated by new, more recent decorations.
In each chair, a column of darkness sprang up, and when it faded, a cloaked individual sat in its place. Some were hooded, and others not; it really only depended on what they had been doing prior. Within a minute the twelve seats before the Superior were filled, with the faces of the occupants staring forward with blank, lifeless looks. She smiled to herself, content. There was no noise, no outbursts, no unnecessary movement. Certainly no warnings traitors in their midst. That would be quite unheard of.
Xeyla cleared her throat.
“Thank-”
Chapter 20 - Interferesdfglkjh%*gd#3k12n21^5wq1 9
To thenikxu45visErev&nOso
To the unaccustomf`lla23fo)Uyo\8isnelt!
to the unaccustomed ear, the noise that came with Xeyla’s voice would be completely unbearable and impossible to comprehe6xachaIr”edis@#
comprehend.
But the members of the enemy Organization, or to them, “Organization XIII“, were used to it by now. Meetings like these were not too common, but they happened, and receiving this sort of treatment on a person-to-person basis was enough to prepare their brains. Not that their brains were making any conscious attempts to understand what was going on. They were bound by the Superior’s very words; they would do anything she said, or think anything she wanted them to think. With the power of her voice, Xeyla held the ability of mind control.
“-you for joining me here.”
Her gaze scanned each chair, taking pride in their plain and vacant expressions. Smug is not a great word to describe Xey29sha*fHla&45rtahe with, but seeing all of those people, all of those damn psychopaths, completely at her disposal, brought a content smirk to her lips. Every time she picked up those reigns she wanted to stay there forever, and not just to make them do things, but to hold onto that feeling of being in control. It was fulfilling, intense, pleasurable, even. Her mouth twitched up into a wider smile before she continued speaking.
“I would like to bring your collective attention to a certain event that has transpired recently.”
She paused, as if waiting for a response. She still smiled madly to herself, knowing it would never come.
“I wouldn’t like to call it insubordination, but maybe it’s a little wrong to go and do things without my permission? Like killing people when I gave you no such clearance? Hm?
It was like she was a young girl playing with dolls. Xeyla, thrilled, stood in her chair, yelling at the motionless Nobodies.
“I don’t care that they’re our inherent enemies. We do not commit murder, or even just attack them so spontaneously.” She glared menacingly at Ryje^m%sih7Rma40ex, then to EastXconis!htrefa=i, then Ser`yoaLl+ox with considerable contempt. “And look what has happened because of it. That’s right! One of our numbers could not join us this evening because they are dead. Dead from a pointless scuffle. What was it even over? Someone tell me.”
She now had a foot on her chair’s armrest, and pointed towards Txam@yap6notnatei01to#mhi;t in an exaggerated fashion, before laughing to herself when she realized that he would not speak.
“Speak. Why did we waste a life here today, Txamt?”
“Superior, we-” His talking ceased for a couple of seconds, and he sputtered over the piercing around his lips. He was new, and his mind was not totally used to Xeyla’s methods. “W-we were notified of a p-potential infiltration attempt.”
“Spying, really? What would they have to steal? Information? That’s funny, everyone. I was pretty sure we had everything valuable locked up, alongside a pretty nice security system. Look around! Do any of you really think we need to patrol around and personally whack anyone that looks the wrong way?”
There was a simultaneous, eleven-fold droning of the phrase, “No, Superior.”
Xeyla took a deep breath, and slowly took her seat once more. She closed her eyes, and blew some silver hair that had fallen in front of her face while she was raging. They opened around ten minutes later, after she had regained her composure and had time to reflect on possible courses of action. No one really complained about her long silence.
“You are all receiving a single order for the meeting, and then you are dismissed.”
Everyone was okay with this.
“All of you, from this point o3otN6yonVeree>rSeah!
~~~~~

Her message was met with interference to some.

It was like waking up, just very slowly. He thought he had been dreaming the whole scene; something in the meeting room, with Xeyla addressing them all. In the dream, the words had been hazy and unclear, but they still penetrated his every thought. Soon he realized that the foggy dream had been reality, and it was occurring to him all at once that all those other dreams he had dreamt once may have happened for the same reason. The reason being that he was being controlled by his leader. All of them were. He had the intuition to very quickly come to terms with the fact that many of his actions may have been manipulated by the Superior.

And it pissed off Dryx8eHs1),gNoNa22ktea0reoV$aim quite a bit.

“All of you, from this point on…”

Dryxaim looked around the room, his eyeballs barely shifting, to avoid attention, from left to right to up above at the higher-ups. It was easy to notice how many of them were not under Xeyla’s influence. A few chairs to his right, was Suj//na//na//na//na//nax who lacked much of an expression, but unlike the others his was too humanly calm. It was easy to tell by his soft blue eyes that he was not about to be told what to do.

“…are to never…”

Near Xeyla was K[-&]==Mtersa<axsra who was obviously too relaxed to be controlled. But, wow, what had happened to his face? It was blue, and Dryxaim had thought for a moment that it had been doused in paint. That was obviously wrong, since he could see signs of swelling, with the blue being shiny like metal. Was it attached to his face? He had to wonder what had happened to the guy, and who had done it. Oh yes, he would like to know about the one that could do something like that to a person.

“…ever, act against my orders…”

Nev9si:noGna*athe154jmeryxe0ex looked as bored as he did during regular meetings. Dryxaim could see that something glimmered near his ear, under his citrus-colored hair; it must have been one of those little orange gem things he had scattered about his body. That one in particular must block out the Superior angered ramblings. It really only made sense that he would have some way to bypass the manipulation; Nevex was the one who had mainly installed all of those speakers.

“…or work against me in any fashion.”

He remembered that Xeyla had been talking, and put on a vacant expression to continue listening, but she had already finished. What was that she said?

Fortunately, there were some people who could hold a meeting and actually listen to each other without having to resort to mind control tactics. The Nobodies of the Organization were very proud of this fact.

But there was no time to be proud, since a reunion of epic proportions was taking place! It was pretty lucky too since Xenjin was just thinking about how much she did not want to see Kurix instead of some other high-ranking member like Cinollex or Xoje or even her leader. Do not even get her started on how she feels about him being an unofficial member; he could just leave and go as he pleased.

“Hey.”

“Hey, did you forget to check out?”

“What?”

“Nothing.”

This interchange was immediately followed by a Corridor opening, from which Jynx and Noraxeen stepped out. These two the redhead were more delighted to see, and the feeling was mutual between them. Jynx did not share Xenjin’s opinion of Kurix, however. In fact he looked up to him, in a sense; he always felt like they had some kind of connection, which came off as strange but he just went with it. Then he noticed he was holding his Keyblade and banished it from his grip, completely abandoning his prior train of thought.

The four decided a more formal meeting was needed, so they filed up to the meeting room on the second story. Before they could even take their seats, though, yet another Corridor opened, this time yielding a tired-looking Cinollex and a beat-up Charxai. They barely acknowledged the others before sitting down. It seemed like they just wanted to sit down after a long time of walking in a large empty cave.

“Are you two alright?” Kurix asked, sitting. “Cinollex? The mission went well?”

“What? Yeah.” She withdrew the new bracelet and showed off its dark silver glory. Kurix’s interested was magnetized towards the item. Jynx took interest in kind, leaning over the table to get a good view. After Kurix prodded the bracelet a few times, holding it up to the light, and inspected the elasticity of it, he saw Jynx in the corner of his eye, watching curiously.

“Wait.” Kurix said, returning the bracelet to Cinollex. “Did you come out of a Corridor?”

Jynx really thought he was off the hook there.

“Um, well, see.” He began. Then, Noraxeen, who had been pestering Charxai, overheard chimed in.

“Oh, Kurix! We found something and I know you’d love it. Jynx, go, show him! The thing, you know?”

Jynx did in fact know, and trying to steer the conversation away from him as fast as possible, Jynx pulled the small mirror out from his cloak. He placed it on the table and slid it to Kurix, passing before Cinollex’s eyes, which were intent of the shiny, reflective surface, as well as the crescent shape around one side.

She nearly jumped out of her chair when she took the sight in.

Serox, suffering from a headache that made her forget most of the meeting she had been in, hurried back on her way towards Xeyla’s room, without anyone getting in her way. Finally she would be able to set that rat in his place. She never did like him, and always had a bad feeling ever since that one day she had to fix him up. At first she had to wonder who anybody could ever be so stupid, but then…Ugh, he’s just bad.

The door was just ajar. Serox did not find this strange at all. Rather, she was set back by the lack of Xeyla’s presence, and further disturbed when she could not find the Superior in any other part of the castle. Tracker results turned up nothing. Asking around gave her no answers. Xeyla had left, and she normally did not go to other worlds, which meant it was important and she could potentially be gone for some time.

It also meant that there was a treacherous person running around, and she was the only one who knew. She was the only one left to prevent him from interfering with any more plan#354%TBu5eH}LILW1220
