Just out of curiosity, is there anyone in particular you would have preferred take over the role?

So, does Kairi not have any lines in this game or is Square just being fickle about casting announcements?

Well becuse I really have to reveal this but

Kairi doesn't speak in the sercet ending, but Xion and Riku do talk to one another before she asked Riku one finally question in the ending

My sentiments exactly. I don't want to chance seeing something that hasn't been revealed to the public by Square-Enix themselves. I'm allowing myself to see official screenshots, official trailers and non-revealing interviews to stem the tide. Since Kairi hasn't surfaced in any of those, I'm just going to assume Hayden's all Xion. On the other hand, the press release confirms Jesse McCartney as Ventus, but I've seen nothing of that character in the trailers/screens... so I consider myself quasi-spoiled. D:

Too bad that Kairi doesn't speak, but I'm extremely excited that Panettiere is returning to work with Kingdom Hearts. It made me really sad when Kairi suddenly had a new voice, because I think Panettiere was great as Kairi. Also, I'm glad we don't have to deal with Stoner again. Xion's voice was so boring in Days, so I'm glad she's getting Panettiere as a VA. I'm certain she'll be tons better, even if she doesn't speak much (I don't know how much she speaks).

I do, but not a big Star Trek fan. I know who they are, but the only Star Trek I saw was the movie

Late reply, but off the top of my head, I think someone like Max von Sydow would've been a stellar choice for Master Xehanort.

I still prefer Nimoy, Max sounds like more of the old guide type of character
